11/01/2025: Characteristic pizzeria in Scanno, very particular low, crunchy and very good pizza. Reservation management not received as they are not taken into consideration you have to wait your turn.... It takes 15 minutes and you sit down. Family run

25/01/2025: Ottimo rifugio accanto a poste da neve. Locale climatizzato, pulito , con servizio bar. Hanno dei tavoli per pranzare(vi consiglio di andarci prestoverso le 12.00) .
È possibile degustare primi e secondi. La pappardella ai funghi porcini è super!

01/02/2025: Not only an excellent quality-price ratio but also quantity-price ratio, we had two first courses with a glass of very good wine: the delicious polenta with a superb sauce with sausages and ribs and the local dish Chezzellitte'nghe le Fuojja, wonderful homemade gnocchi with broccoli. The very welcoming and kind waiter, discreet and attentive, welcomed us at 2.30 pm with the reservation made only an hour before, furthermore, at our request, he kindly gave us excellent advice on what to see in the area. We didn't even spend 20 euros each! Highly recommended, we will be back.

13/02/2025: Had lunch last Sunday, we had two first courses and pasta with river prawns and they were both good, and spectacular kebabs for the second course. The appetizer was also good, including the delicious ricotta. They welcomed us as if we were at home and we had a really good time. Modest prices considering the quality of the products.
20/01/2025: The food was good and the waiters were friendly. Don't expect a visually luxurious restaurant. The Foce is decorated with many items that they will have collected since they first opened the doors. The dining room was kept nice and warm and there is a bathroom available for customers.

05/01/2025: Segnalatomi da un amico assiduo frequentatore di questo bellissimo borgo abruzzese fuori dal tempo si è rivelato un posto all' altezza delle aspettative. Locale ben curato, staff professionale e cordiale, cucina eccellente. Da provare assolutamente tartare, brasato e pane alla curcuma. Complimenti ai proprietari. Ci tornerò.

06/12/2024: we arrived at this B&B on Friday 29 November, the welcome was very kind, especially thanks to Alessandra for her thoughtful assistance, given that we woke up in a village wonderfully whitewashed by 15cm of snow and which caught us by surprise. The room is equipped with all comforts, quiet; the breakfast, served in the living room, is very assorted, plentiful and good. Highly recommended. In Scanno it is delightful to get lost in the alleys and greet the inhabitants as if you have known each other forever.

04/02/2025: In love with this restaurant, located in the greenery of the mountains, spend a moment of relaxation and tranquility, a family environment, and what can I say? From one to ten 100!!! I ate so well!!!!!! Excellent kebabs for a lover!! Porcini mushroom and truffle pasta!! A dream!!!!!

21/01/2025: Che dire sembra di essere tornati indietro nel tempo. Biscotti fantastici, gentilezza superlativa. È una tappa obbligatoria se si va a Scanno. Bravissimi a mantenere intatte le tradizioni.

19/01/2025: Before saying goodbye to Scanno we came across this little place which pleasantly surprised us. Starting from the staff, two very nice and very helpful young guys, to the dishes which we appreciated very much. We had an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses and continued with kebabs and baked potatoes, all delicious!! When we return to Scanno, Da Vittorio will definitely be a stop we will do again!
06/01/2025: Not a nice experience.
I book a table for two, the non-existent menu arrived, I asked twice to see it.
Most of the dishes were absent from the menu, almost 5 out of 7 first and second courses.
Ordered, the bread arrives... without plates, without oil, without anything, just thrown on the table without a reason to eat it.
The gnocchi were clearly tasteless, the lamb was good except that I also ordered the baked potatoes as a side dish which arrived when the lamb was finished.
The bruschettas could only be ordered if we ordered the mixed starter, meh.
Super high bill.

03/09/2024: Scrivere una recensione negativa mi imbarazza sempre però non posso negare l' evidenza. Per due antipasti, due primi, un dolce, una bottiglia d'acqua e un calice di vino, chiedere 80€ è esagerato. L' unico aspetto che si è salvato è la cortesia del personale, capirai...con quel che chiedono è facile esseri cortesi...
Fossero cose ricercate...Un antipasto a base di anguria 15€ una rapina. L'altro antipasto, polpette con cipolle mi fa mangiare la carne prima della pasta mah! , e sempre 15 €. La pasta alle orapi ribalterà il giudizio? Macché, non mi è piaciuta. Si sono salvate le chitarrine ai tre pomodori. Per concludere abbiamo pranzato con la puzza della polvere di caffè che bruciano per allontanare le vespe e le mosche mentre allontanano i clienti... insomma, una delusione.

Primo agli orapi con sapore esclusivo di aglio. Personale gentile e cordiale. Prezzo non in linea con la qualità.
