03/07/2026: We had dinner on a Thursday evening after visiting the wonderful town of Scanno. I found the lady who served us, who I believe was a cousin, to be truly kind and warm in explaining the dishes and their ingredients. The first courses were truly tasty and plentiful, and the meatballs with cheese and egg were delicious—you absolutely must mop them up with bread. The Montepulciano she recommended was also good. Excellent value. But the lady made the difference. If you're passing through, stop by. You'll immediately feel at home. Highly recommended.

26/06/2026: A family-run restaurant with high-quality products. The owners are exceptionally kind. Their attention to detail is unparalleled. The beef steak is a must-try, but the lamb and everything else are equally as delicious. If I could give it 10 stars, I definitely would. After your meal, you can relax on the deckchairs and loungers provided for guests.
15/06/2026: My wife and I ate at this beautiful place. The dishes were plentiful and delicious. The owner was a kind person... the waiter was kind and very good. He gave you great advice.
I highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: Unfortunately, the food and service were very disappointing; everything was uninspired and unprofessional. The service seemed completely disinterested and overwhelmed; an order was mixed up and delivered incorrectly. No apology was offered. It started with the poorly cleaned and sticky water bottle on the table and continued with the food: the antipasti were alright, but the lamb, trout, and side dishes were a complete disappointment. The lamb (€16) consisted of a single rib and almost nothing but bones, and the trout (€15) was the size of a large sardine and tasted musty. It was supposed to be grilled, but the skin was soggy. Food can be so good, but we have rarely eaten as badly in Italy as we did in this restaurant!

07/05/2026: A classic trattoria without frills, where you can enjoy a good meal with generous portions and traditional Abruzzo fare. We tried the mixed platters of cured meats and cheeses, and the side dishes of eggplant and artichokes. Simple and perfect for refueling after a nice walk.

30/05/2026: It was our first time there, and we had a great time.
The staff were welcoming and even helped us get in with Mom's wheelchair. They welcomed our dog, and we're happy about that. The fish main courses and the tagliata were excellent. Next time, I'll try the first courses.
See you soon.
29/04/2026: Perhaps we were unlucky to be there on a holiday (but then, shouldn't a restaurant be able to handle that?), but the experience was a negative one. The service was very rushed and inattentive, the food was disappointing and reheated (the roast was inedible), and the price was decidedly high for all that.

28/07/2025: Biscotti buoni anzi ottimi. Ci siamo fermati durante la passeggiata prima di cena e abbiamo acquistato dei biscotti con cioccolato veramente ottimi. Da non tralasciare durante una visita a Scanno.
