21/09/2025: It's a pleasure to review places like this, where the owners are truly passionate about what they do and the local area, selecting quality local ingredients. The pappardelle with venison and wild boar will remain in our hearts, but the pappardelle with hare and venison were also delicious. The tart was also a highlight. Besides eating well, we discovered so much about the national park. We'll definitely be back soon to try the rest of the menu!

02/11/2025: Cristallo di Neve is always a guarantee! Over the years, the cuisine has remained truly excellent; in fact, every dish we ordered yesterday was a true delight, the result of a passion for catering and the use of high-quality ingredients.
But what made our experience even more special was the fantastic service provided by Irene and Maurizio. They are truly wonderful people, always available and attentive to their customers' needs. Their passion for their work is evident and felt at every turn.
The quality-price ratio is absolutely excellent, and I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of good food!
29/10/2025: A unique experience, an absolutely delicious lunch from starter to dessert. Mr. Maurizio makes you feel at home right away and pampers you with all his thoughtful touches. We will definitely be back.

13/10/2025: I wanted to take my friends to this place, which I discovered during a heavy snowfall in February. They were very happy with it.
The dishes are delicious and perfectly showcase local flavors. The courtesy of the restaurant owners is admirable; we were served with kindness and professionalism.
I recommend trying their crispy egg on a creamy pecorino cheese with truffle. A must!
I will definitely be back.

23/02/2025: It's a very welcoming refuge where you can have breakfast, a snack, or lunch. After skiing, I stopped for a break and had a fruit tart with cream. It was delicious, made with fresh, authentic ingredients!
The atmosphere is pleasant, perfect for relaxing and recharging your batteries. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by.

The entire building has been expertly renovated, respecting local traditions such as the use of local stone and antique wood, and even the roof structure is based on the original.
The staff are very kind and hardworking. The problem is the lady who takes orders, who doesn't give guests the freedom to choose what to eat first or after, but must be in strict order according to the menu. Incredible!
In fact, the dishes arrived "in batches," subverting the basic restaurant rule according to which all diners must be served at the same time. Some people saw others eating. They even forgot a second course. Some even ate alone in the end.
The wine list is good and honest, even if it lacks vintages and alcohol content. There are no asterisks on the menu, such as the truffle, which is frozen (but good). The desserts are good.
With water, a good Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, desserts, and coffee, €52 per person. Correct.
The chef's skill is excellent. The French Fries are also amazing, earning an A+, but they can ONLY be enjoyed as a side dish, otherwise it's impossible!
It's a shame about the rude inhospitality of the lady in the dining room; otherwise, it would definitely deserve a top score.
26/10/2025: Excellent food and quality ingredients, and if you have the opportunity to chat with Osvaldo and Antonella, you can sense the passion and dedication they put into creating this establishment. Everything is well-kept, the presentation of the dishes is excellent, the bill is excellent, and the wine list is good quality and the value is excellent. We spent €50 per person, but we left with a smile and satisfaction. Thank you, we'll be back.

Paid 100 euros for 3 people.. He made us pay. even for what we didn't eat.. The manager is a rude person.. I would save the. wife who tried to make up for it by offering us coffee.. .. NOT RECOMMENDED

07/09/2025: Characteristic little place in name and in fact. I was finally able to eat polenta which, despite being in the mountains in these parts, is quite rare. Typical products. Homemade cuisine and a family atmosphere.
25/08/2025: Excessively priced. Really meager grilled food with a piece of cheese (which isn't grilled), 1 sausage, 1 small piece of loin, and 1 very thin and fatty lamb chop...nothing special. I wouldn't go back, especially at that price...

25/08/2025: A quiet and welcoming place, with a beautiful and relaxing panoramic view, whether you sit inside or on the terrace. The food is exquisite; the venison with red berry sauce is truly excellent. The meat is high-quality, and the first and second courses are all exceptional. You can taste the homemade dishes. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!
