27/01/2025: We were a table of 10 people, we tried to book but unfortunately they were full, despite this the same morning we tried to ask in person and despite being full they did everything they could to find us a place and this already explains a lot, but during lunch, the welcome was exceptional, the extremely kind owner welcomed us with wine and dishes, all truly delicious. I wanted to taste everything. We will definitely be back.
I don't give 5 stars because unfortunately there was a small accident with a plate but they were able to apologize for this too. Exceptional.
19/01/2025: Very good restaurant, pet friendly, extremely friendly owners and truly polite and helpful staff! You can eat very well in a friendly environment!

24/01/2025: Characteristic place, kind and attentive staff, excellent food, the bruschetta with lard is a journey of the senses. The tagliatelle with deer and roe deer are delicious. Highly recommended.

11/11/2024: We had the pleasure of having lunch at the Alla Fonte restaurant during our visit to Scanno and it was an unforgettable experience.
The owner and all the staff are incredibly kind and helpful.
The menu offers a delicious selection of typical local cuisine, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each course was a true journey of flavours, from first courses to desserts, all perfectly balanced and carefully presented.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and familiar, making lunch even more special. I can only recommend Alla Fonte to anyone who finds themselves in Scanno. We can't wait to go back!

04/02/2025: Very suggestive location, nestled in the mountain.
Exquisite and very kind owner.
Genuine and well cooked food.
The cheeses and the onion and plum sauce are delicious, as are the wild boar pappardelle and the saffron and porcini mushroom pappardelle.
Advise.

The owner is an exceptional and fun person, the waiter is also very kind.

16/02/2025: Ho pranzato in questo ristorante oggi a pranzo. Ambiente accogliente, personale gentile e cibo di buona qualità. Ho riscontrato molta lentezza nel servizio ma quello che mi ha lasciato fortemente perplesso è stata la mancanza di tatto da parte della proprietà. Ho ordinato un carpaccio di angus che all’occhio non mi ha soddisfatto. Ho chiesto di portarlo indietro e ho fatto presente che lo avrei pagato ugualmente. L’eleganza vuole che un piatto non toccato (e sicuro dato ad altri) lo togli dal conto. Non è stato cosí. Profonda delusione. Molto meglio Campiglio ma anche la nostra Roccaraso. Non si fa turismo cosí. Due antipasti, due calici di vino tipo Tavernello, due secondi, due dolci (di cui uno spettacolare) e una minerale + la portata non mangiata 98 €. Non ci tornerò mai più.

14/01/2025: Siamo del Forte e per noi il Pesce Baracca è una conferma per aperitivi e cene. Ottimo pesce, fresco e ben cucinato. Personale sempre gentilissimo. Ottima anche la pescheria e tutto ciò he è a disposizione per asporto.

Excellent dishes, with good taste and location, large portions and absolutely modest costs. I recommend it for those who want to spend a pleasant evening enjoying typical Abruzzo food.

12/02/2025: L’atmosfera è incantevole, il personale molto gentile. Sono stata a mangiare con la mia famiglia e ammetto di non aver mai provato una carne così buona, per non parlare della polenta che è qualcosa di indescrivibile! Consigliatissimo!

05/01/2025: Poldo prometteva bene, sempre tanta gente e mai un posto libero. Dopo vari tentativi, siamo riusciti a prenotare un tavolo per pranzo. Il servizio da parte di chi, immagino, sia il proprietario è stato scostante e poco esplicativo. Ci ha spiegato i piatti in maniera approssimativa tanto che abbiamo ordinato cose con ingredienti che ci aspettavamo diverse. Il primo era terribile, descritto come un ragù rosso ai funghi, era in realtà una semplice pasta al sugo con piselli, 2 pezzi di funghi e dadini di prosciutto cotto. Gli arrosticini erano buoni ed i prezzi erano medio-bassi rispetto agli altri ristoranti della zona. Grazie ma non torneremo.

Arrosticini serviti in un piatto … e dopo 30 secondi … ovviamente erano FREDDI (nessun accorgimento, neanche un po’ di carta stagnola)
Erano anche pieni di pezzi di grasso e di carne secca e dura. Non possono costare 1,20 euro cadauno …per quella qualità (bassa).
Ambiente e servizio sono molto buoni ma con i prezzi che praticano stiamo “alti“… rispetto a quello che offre.

24/01/2025: Locale piccola ma grazioso, menu tipico, semplice e variegato: selvaggina ottima così come i formaggi e le loro salsine di accompagnamento; i primi non da meno, super abbondanti e conditi. Nota ancor più positiva e l’ottima musica di sottofondo. Unica pecca consiglierei ai camerieri di fare un sorriso in più, che è il miglior condimento!
12/01/2025: Forse da migliorare la proposta degli antipasti...... quello che fanno, lo fanno bene.......... menzione particolare al sugo di cinghiale veramente delizioso...... chitarrina al tartufo buona........ bistecca ottima..... prezzo giusto per la cucina che propongono

28/08/2024: Everything was delicious, from the bread to the wonderful red pizza, to the focaccia, without forgetting the desserts. Unfortunately it is very expensive, if all in all you can get by with bread and pizza, biscuits are unapproachable... really too expensive.
However, there are excellent breakfasts and aperitifs.
