11/10/2025: Great staff, absolutely good pizza, welcoming, we went back twice in two days.

21/08/2025: Horrible pizza... not recommended. I received a pizza with inedible raw mushrooms.

30/07/2025: Recovered an order with Too Good To Go. The food was plentiful, the atmosphere clean, and the service friendly! Recommended!

13/09/2025: Pizza taste was nice and delicious and we also get as alacarte. Mainly this outlet serve as small size pizza which we can enjoy different type of choosing alacarte.

01/09/2025: The place is really poorly managed and the food is of extremely low quality. There's no point in going for the closing time promotion, because the staff will let anyone in without looking at the line.

28/09/2025: Terrible experience, never again. As soon as I entered, I was hit by a nauseating odor that already put me off staying. The beer glass was dirty, a clear sign of poor hygiene. I ordered a bacon hamburger: it smelled unpleasant and tasted so bad that I left it on my plate without being able to eat it. When paying, I pointed this out to the owner, who couldn't give me a response. To top it off, he didn't even bother saying goodbye when I left. A place like this shouldn't even be open.

24/09/2025: We chose to dine here because there wasn't much open. 10 arrosticini each (for 2 people) on one plate. Eventually, I noticed a fly. I pointed out to the two people at the table, and they replied, "Strange, there haven't been any flies in the past few months." Help! Are you telling me I brought it in my pocket? Plus, 2 plates of roast meat. The sausage smelled and tasted like it had been passed. Left on the plate... 1 sparkling water. Cost: 70 euros.

03/09/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience in every way. Plain croissants cost €1.80, table service costs extra: truly out of line prices, especially for Rocca di Mezzo. Any other bar offers the same quality at half the price. The place seems to thrive on its former glory, but the quality and customer service are noticeably declining. A real shame, because with a little more attention and more honest prices, it could be a benchmark.

30/08/2025: This gelateria was our home for the entire week we stayed in Rocca di Mezzo. The gelato is very good and very reasonably priced. €2.50 for a cone with two flavors and whipped cream. I recommend it!

01/11/2025: Friendly service, but prices comparable to St. Mark's Square! Spritz for €7. But the pigeons were missing.

11/10/2025: A €3 cover charge and they don't even bring bread. The pizzas are passable, but nothing special. The waiters were distracted: they brought the baby pizza, obviously for a little girl, last. About a half hour after the first ones. The place was extremely noisy.

08/09/2025: The food is truly recommendable! To those who complain about the food: How stupid do you have to be to order fried seafood when you don't like it? Compare this place to your local pizzeria! The best calzone I've ever eaten: ham, salsicca, and tons of truffles for €10! The spaghetti, no matter which one, is fantastic. Apart from the occasional communication difficulties, which I attribute to myself, this place is highly recommended. Now in the off-season, it's only Italians, and you can see how much they enjoy their food! I couldn't recommend it more highly!!!!!

15/11/2025: We had a large table, but it took an hour and forty minutes for a portion of Ascoli olives. Nothing had arrived yet except some bread and three chips, while the people at the next table who arrived after us had already received everything. Anyway, the arristicini are delicious and reasonably priced when they arrive :)

21/11/2025: A charming chalet nestled in a wonderful setting. It's worth a visit.

13/09/2025: We happened to be passing by on our motorbike, and given the lunchtime, and attracted by the woods and the location, we stopped for a quick bite to eat before heading out (it was a Thursday in August). As soon as we got off the bike and saw the menu (prices not average for Abruzzo), we stopped because we were hungry. We started by looking for a seat outside (the place was empty) and immediately realized that their electricity is generated by a diesel generator, which essentially, perhaps because of the wind, was inundating you with its lovely smell! We found a table as best we could and asked for a sausage and scamorza cheese and some side dishes. The moral of the story was that we received half a sausage and a measly slice of scamorza (€12) and a mini plate of chicory (€5). In Abruzzo, which we love, there are many better places; avoid this place if you can; we paid €25 each!

25/10/2025: Seemed quite pricy for 2 Americans wanting just 2 glasses of house wine at 5:00pm. 50% higher than other cafes in same area.

23/10/2025: Highly not recommended! Avoid at all costs! One star is too much for the service and the food we consumed. €18 for two glasses of average-quality wine without food. When we asked for an explanation, the owner was extremely rude, telling us that if we couldn't afford it, we could go somewhere else!

22/11/2025: 100 years for a pizza they don't even answer the phone

08/11/2025: The pizzas here aren't appetizing; they're very thin and often burnt. It's a shame because you can tell they're all good guys; maybe they just need a little more effort.

22/06/2025: I had a poke for lunch at opening time, the guy was rude and uninterested as if I was bothering him with my presence and the ingredients seemed poor.
