27/07/2024: La Madia is an exceptional restaurant. The setting is magnificent, uncluttered, there is space, the tables are very spaced apart. The service is impeccable, of course we don't speak French here and very little English but there is an English version of the menu, and after all, we are in Sicily, let's adapt! The food: incredible. It's very, very good, original, special mention for the octopus crème brûlée. Said like that it can be scary but this dish particularly amazed us, and we are absolutely not fans of octopus normally. The entire menu was excellent and generous. The Chef: warm, keen to please: he completely adapted the menu for our daughter who is very picky, and served her an adapted version of each dish, for example replacing fish with zucchini or meat . Having frequented quite a few starred restaurants I think that it would not have been possible anywhere else. Just like us, she had a great time and we all had a wonderful evening. Thank you for all this, and I invite you to take a trip to Licata, a small town that is not particularly pretty but which hides a gem.

09/08/2024: Elegant restaurant, wonderful view and very good food. High price range. Only note: for a restaurant with such a high price, the sea bass IS CLEANED AT THE TABLE. We took the sea bass and they showed us the fish already cooked quickly and then cleaned it in the kitchen. Furthermore, there was only half of it on the plate instead of the whole fish (and the rest of the fish?). Meh!!! I repeat, a very good restaurant, but for such a high price range these mistakes cannot be made

01/07/2024: Cena fuori, nel bel giardino. Location accogliente tanto all'interno, nei toni del legno e azzurro, quanto all'esterno, nel verde del prato. Personale non solo gentile, ma cordiale e premuroso, equilibrato nel non cadere né nell'eccessiva confidenza, né nell'esagerazione delle formalità. Il servizio includeva un calice di bollicine iniziale, una piccolo stuzzichino e dei mini-ghiaccioli al mango, offerti dalla casa. Abbondante varietà di pane casareccio. Cibo davvero ottimo, dessert gustoso. I secondi piatti includono già un proprio contorno. Vini di produzione propria. Prezzo commisurato all'esperienza.

01/07/2024: Questo ristorante è sicuramente da provare. La materia prima di qualità, l'indiscussa cura con cui viene preparata e presentata e l'equilibrio dei sapori è uno dei motivi per cui ci andiamo sempre molto volentieri. La cortesia e la professionalità sono un valore aggiunto. La cucina a vista ha sempre il suo fascino. Esperienza da fare !!!

08/08/2024: Everything perfect. The staff are good and welcoming... Excellent food. In particular my carbonara. Exceptional. They also have an excellent wine list and also a nice selection by the glass. Well done! Well done!! the price is above average but you pay willingly.

09/08/2024: I don't dwell on the food and wines which are always up to par. But I would like to point out the raw sheep's meat and the potato chitarrina. But I don't want to do anything else wrong. The view while dining is priceless. The service was kind and attentive and non-invasive.

27/08/2024: Una location speciale, un palazzo storico, per una cucina eccezionale. Lo chef ha creato dei percorsi gastronomici x accontentare ogni tipo di richiesta. C’è chi ha preso il percorso storico, e chi come me ha ordinato a là carte . Amo il pesce e quindi ho mangiato una tartare con una salsa sublime prima e poi delle tagliatelle di seppia che sono state un’esperienza di gusto incredibile. Lo chef che abbiamo chiesto di salutare,mi ha detto che erano state cotte a bassa temperatura per 3 ore, un piatto davvero ottimo! Bevuto Franciacorta, dolce ottimo: un cannolo scomposto, preceduto da un pre-dessert una pallina di cocco in glassa di cioccolato bianco con salsa di mango e fogliolina di manta… incredibilmente buono!
