Davide really knows how to make you discover and fall in love with Umbrian flavours. The proposals are truly unique, especially the off-menu ones. I highly recommend the appetizers for the highlight: mascarpone cream, gorgonzola and almonds, a delicacy. All excellent ingredients, excellent meats and wines for connoisseurs. The staff is equally phenomenal. We are regular customers and every time we have guests it is a fixed stop.
This is the 3rd time we visited Trattoria Dal Taio. It is a special place. The foods here are so delicious and authentic. We can eat every single meal here and not getting tired of it. They have a extensive wine menu and many more old bottles on display in the cave.
Service staff is always very helpful. Fred is especially lovely. This is why people come to Italy. Food and lovely people!
Two words can best represent my opinion on this activity, quality and competence, a perfect combination for a top-level culinary experience. Top quality products and the competence of the owner and his collaborators will give you a unique experience.

Excellent restaurant where I spent my birthday thanks to a very dear friend of mine who booked the cave. A truly special atmosphere combined with the excellent quality of the food and the great professionalism and courtesy of the staff. From the cutting board, to the very tender and hearty fillet and the dessert, everything was up to par. Advised!

Più di 200km (tra andata e ritorno) solo per mangiare in questa trattoria...e lo rifarei altre 100 volte!
