Osteria La Campanara In Galeata

We stayed at Locanda la Campanara this weekend (May 1-3, 2026) for an enduro MTB race in PremilCuore. The inn is a wonderful place, a blast from the past, where mind and body rediscover peace and relaxation thanks to the care taken over the place and the spontaneous, immense kindness. The rooms are well-kept, clean, and welcoming. The restaurant offers simple yet refined cuisine; nothing is left to chance, not even the talented young staff who welcome you with a smile and professionalism. We ate divinely for dinner; gorgeous vegetables and seasonal products prepared to perfection. And let's talk about breakfast, run by two wonderful, helpful, and talented ladies! The buffet is a picture-perfect experience; there's no other way to describe it because every product is made with incredible passion. SUPERB Sunday lunch! Food, service, atmosphere - very good. In the shade of an old church, lovely outside seating with such a variety of local cuisine. Apparently next door is a B&B but our experience was sole with the restaurant…we loved it!

Osteria; reception area; courtyard with pool; rooms and bar/pub/breakfast spread across several buildings very close together on the same street: a pleasant experience. The manager and staff were pleasant and made us feel at home; I'd say the level of humanity was pleasant. The large, well-finished room was pleasant; the bathroom was stylish, functional, and pleasant; the bed was okay, but the edge for those 195 cm tall was annoying. EXCELLENT cuisine. EXCELLENT breakfast, all homemade. Pleasant courtyard with pool.

Beautiful place and perfect cuisine. You truly feel at home. Eleven of us ate in the garden because the weather was nice. My compliments. I'll be back soon.

We stopped for Sunday lunch before a game in Galeata. Everything was delicious, with lots of authentic local and daily specials. Welcoming, friendly, and impeccable service.

I've decided to write two reviews that focus exclusively on the food: one objective, 5 stars for the quality of the dishes, and the other subjective, 4 stars for a matter of personal taste. I would have liked to taste the chestnut flavor in the chestnut flour tagliatelle, and perhaps find some chestnuts themselves, and in the chocolate dessert, I expected a more intense, bold mint flavor. A very nice location and very kind staff.

A beautiful place located just above Galeata, it exudes a rejuvenating, timeless atmosphere. The building has been completely renovated with taste. The room we booked, the "water room," was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh produce. Special mention goes to the owner, Roberto, whom we met. He's a pleasant and knowledgeable person, and he even showed us around the vegetable garden behind the adjoining osteria. He and his partner, Alessandra, had a dream and made it come true. We'll definitely be back.

I celebrated my graduation with about 20 of us. The quality of the menu was incredible; we had a wonderful day. Thank you so much!
