04/07/2025: According to the restaurant’s chef, this is a Caesar salad. Made from the freshest ingredients, allegedly. In reality, it looked like we weren’t the first ones to eat it. After expressing our concerns, it was replaced with a Caprese salad — which was mediocre at best. That’s not how we imagined Italian cuisine.

13/05/2025: I booked Al Frassino for my son's baptism. All my guests were enchanted by the location, a huge and well-kept garden and a wonderful fountain. Delicious food, I am celiac and I was satisfied. They helped make my son's party perfect. A special thanks to Federica for helping me organize everything. I will definitely be back very willingly.

13/05/2025: Dopo una giornata di meeting, siamo stati premiati con questo stupendo ristorante. Posizionato a fianco dell'abbazia dei frati, ha un parco molto bello. Il personale è cordiale e gentile. Abbiamo iniziato con un risotto alle zucchine e mascarpone che ha favorito il bis, e per alcuni anche il tris. Molto consigliato

28/05/2025: Agriturismo seminascosto nella frazioncina di Lizzarola, lo abbiamo provato un sabato a pranzo curiosi per le buone recensioni. Che confermiamo. Molto semplice, quasi spartano, buono tutto quello che abbiamo assaggiato: lasagne con sugo di vegetali molto gradevoli e faraona ripiena e polenta. Fantastico l'assaggino iniziale di polenta e cotechino (quest'ultimo strepitoso). Producono vino e lo abbiamo provato: anche lui semplice e gradevole. Personale molto gentile e alla mano. Prezzi onesti. Unico neo l'esterno un poco dimesso, abbiamo mangiato in veranda e il verde attorno era sicuramente da curare, ma si era a inizio stagione; vedremo tornando più in là a attività ben avviata

16/05/2025: Sono stata in questo luogo che di agriturismo ha solo il nome! L'ambiente era molto piccolo, una stanza con un bagno dove devi assolutamente ricordarti di chiudere la porta perché altrimenti mangi con vista lavabo... Appena arrivati la ragazza ci ha offerto un piccolo aperitivo a base di polenta e cotechino e un bicchiere di vino di loro produzione, non male. Il menù era un po' povero, ci aspettavamo ben altro poiché abbiano scelto dopo aver visto foto e recensioni su TripAdvisor, assolutamente non corrispondenti con la realtà. Abbiamo preso pasta con il sugo, buona per mio figlio di 11anni, costine con polenta alla piastra, salamelle sempre con polenta , patate al forno e salame al cioccolato. Le salamelle erano crude, le costine piene di grasso, le patate normali e il salame al cioccolato congelato. Abbiamo fatto presente alla ragazza la cottura e il grasso, è stata cortese, ma comunque non c'è stato tolto nemmeno un euro. Se avessi mangiato bene il prezzo sarebbe stato nella norma. Non lo consiglio, mi dispiace ma sono rimasta proprio delusa.

19/07/2025: A very nice, cozy restaurant, located directly on Lake Garda. With a fantastic view of the lake and the mountains. Very good, attentive service, and the food was also impressive. I would recommend this restaurant.

31/05/2025: We stayed for a week until this morning. Clean rooms, large balcony, very quiet air conditioning. Always clean pool. Excellent and quiet location. The food is excellent, I would only recommend a richer dinner buffet while breakfast is excellent. Kind and professional dining room staff. We had a great time. Well done

25/06/2025: I really enjoyed our stay at Albergo Papa. The staff was really friendly, both at reception and at the restaurant. We arrived by car and next to several parking spaces outdoors, they also have a parking garage across the street, which is also locked during the night. No extra charges for using the parking options. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed and pillows. A balcony was also available. They also have a lovely pool. Breakfast was good, although I would have appreciated some more veggies. We also ate twice at their restaurant, which offers a good selection of Italian dishes and wine. The food actually feels homemade, giving you real comfort food vibes. The location is fine, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, several other restaurants nearby; ice cream, pizza and shops are also close.

21/06/2025: Super nice hotel! Rooms are nice and spacious and look super nice. Breakfast had a wide choice and also had alternatives for people with allergies. Staff is super friendly and always willing to help! Swimming pool is nice and quiet and a good place to sit and relax. The restaurant was also super nice! The terrace is covered with wisteria trees which makes a super nice picture! Food is also really good, all pastas were homemade and super tasty. Overall a super nice experience and definitely recommended!

27/06/2025: A very nice atmosphere, but the service was unfortunately very slow and inattentive. All the dishes were served at a certain distance, and side dishes were forgotten. There was also a €15 charge for setting the table, which is a main course at the nice restaurants nearby. The Parmesan cheese was very bitter, so we were very disappointed. The other restaurants in the area were much better. What a shame.

21/07/2025: Delicious Italian food. Great atmosphere and beautiful location. Highly recommended. There are a lot of negative reviews, here's an explanation: 1. You're in Italy, it's an Italian restaurant. You can eat your hamburger and fish and chips at home. 2. "The portion of pasta is too small." Again, you're in Italy. Pasta is a "primi" here, as Italians do, a small meal after which you can optionally have a meat or fish meal later in the evening. That's just the way the local culture is. 3. "They look away from you / want you gone." The location is one of the most touristy in northern Italy. There are thousands of tourists who want to eat. But this also makes the location very expensive and requires a lot of turnover to be profitable. It's understandable that they want you to make way when you're done. However, as long as you're still busy, they let you do what you want.

20/07/2025: Ok food but the staff is more busy getting new customers than taking care of the guests. Plus you get a surprise in the form of 6 Euro for Service as they call it (which is almost non-existent) Disappointing experience. If you can milk then you just do it…
