28/08/2025: Not recommended, the pizza prosciutto funghi with canned mushrooms. The special pizza with basil, cherry tomatoes, and buffalo mozzarella was just pizza bread with cheese and a few tomatoes thrown on top.

14/08/2025: Very nice, the food was excellent. The service was friendly and pleasant. However, you have to pay a fee of between €2-3 for the cover and service everywhere. They speak good German and English. The view of the water was beautiful, and in the evening you could enjoy the sunset with a drink. It was midsummer.

15/07/2025: The food was excellent and high-quality. I wouldn't have included monkfish in the grilled fish, as it tasted nothing like anything. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view was priceless, especially at sunset! The owner was very kind, gave us a discount at the counter and offered a free digestif!

14/07/2025: We just happened to pass by there, had no reservation, but were still greeted so warmly, the assigned table was perfect, we weren't actually hungry, but the fish and the super friendly service encouraged us to eat, what impressed me most was that no one was turned away without a reservation, not even a mother with a friend and a toddler, we felt so comfortable, thank you very much

25/07/2025: Wonderful restaurant above the hills in Bardolino. I recommend booking a table in advance if you want to eat here. We absolutely adored the staff and loved the food. As a starter we had linguine with truffles which was out of this world, additionally to linguine with ragout and an aubergine lasagna. Each dish is made with love and attention to detail when it comes to flavors. The gniocchi were wonderful and the fish dishes very fresh. A highlight was the polenta! This restaurant also serves wine from its own vineyard and olive oil from their own production. It’s absolutely fabulous! Another highlight were the desserts. The panda cotta with fresh peaches was a DREAM and the tiramisu came very close to the best I have ever eaten (my aunt makes the best so that’s hard to beat ;)) last but not least the vanilla gelato with rum raisins finished off the night with a kick! We enjoyed our night out here and will definitely come back.

04/09/2025: A lovely restaurant, we've always eaten there. The food is absolutely delicious, and the portions are above average (the same applies to aperitifs). The prices for the food are absolutely reasonable; in 2025, €10 for a larger pizza was completely acceptable. The prices for aperitifs, etc., are also great. I only find the prices of the "regular" drinks (cola, etc.) slightly higher. The atmosphere by the lake is great, and even on warm days, there's plenty of cooling (thanks to fans with a light mist of water). The staff is generally very accommodating and friendly! (Experience spanning several years, with one exception! She's probably no longer employed, though.) A BIG THANK YOU again!!! to ANNA! who took our visit to the restaurant to a completely different level. THANK YOU AGAIN, ANNA!

03/09/2025: A very pleasant terrace on the boulevard where a mix of cultures passes by. It's busy, yet the service is impeccable. We received excellent service from Anna, who has a great sense of humor. You can view the menu on an iPad in your own language, which is super convenient. You also get a glass of rosé right away, which we really appreciate. We started with the fish platter. Beautifully presented and delicious. For our main course, we shared the grilled lamb chops and a caprese salad. Everything was truly delicious and equally delicious. We finished with the best tiramisu we've found here so far. A fantastic restaurant and highly recommended.

16/07/2025: Very good pizzas, unfortunately the menu has changed, not for the better. Very good wines at a fair price. Friendly and attentive service. The burger was excellent.

15/07/2025: Very nice ambiance. Unfortunately, the constant ringing of the many microwaves is annoying. I can't judge the quality of the food, as we left the restaurant early. We were looking forward to a nice evening, but it didn't go that way at all. We waited 1.5 hours for our food! The other tables around us had already paid. When I asked about it, the staff were simply incomprehensible. They said it was busy, after all. Not a word of apology. We were among the first 20 customers! We left the restaurant after another 10 minutes. We wouldn't recommend it. As a guest, I would like to be treated differently.

31/08/2025: Excellent cuisine, superb wood-fired pizza, pasta, fish, meat, and the house prosecco... everything was perfect. Attentive service, cozy atmosphere, top value for money. We've been there several times and are thrilled.

24/07/2025: Very charming place with rustique italian food. Interiors are toned down with original details. Attentative service, great wine pairings. Menu is quite straightforward, food of high quality but the wines are the main attraction at this venue. Charming owner.

02/08/2025: A great place for a glass of wine or a spritz with a fantastic view of the Val d'Orcia. Prices are reasonable, certainly lower than at nearby Idyllium. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a glass of local wine with a view of one of the most beautiful places in Italy. Great atmosphere, buzz, and laughter.

17/08/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Due Nani in Bardolino, and I can say without hesitation that it was an unforgettable experience. I can't remember the last time a first course impressed me so much: every bite was a true explosion of flavor, balanced and surprising, so much so that I immediately thought it was the best first course I'd ever tasted. The restaurant has a welcoming, warm, and authentic atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. You can sense the attention to detail and love for cooking in every corner, creating a perfect atmosphere for both a romantic dinner and a convivial evening. Special praise goes to the owner, a very friendly and welcoming person, capable of conveying his passion and pride in his work with a sincere smile. It's rare to find such a genuine welcome, which makes dinner not just a gastronomic experience, but also a human one. We'll definitely be back, because places like this are unforgettable and deserve to be experienced again and again. Congratulations indeed: Osteria Due Nani is a gem not to be missed in Bardolino!

31/08/2025: Super friendly staff, a real experience. A house aperitif started off with excellent food recommendations. Spaghetti carbonara, seafood, and gnocchi were simply perfect. The bill included a lollipop for the kids and a bottle of limoncello for mom and dad. The food came super quickly, and the couple who run it are really on the ball. The five of us paid €132, including appetizers, which is absolutely fair for five main courses, three appetizers, and drinks. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

29/08/2025: Four of us dined at this restaurant. From the very first moment, we were greeted with professionalism and courtesy by the waiters who served us reverently. From the appetizers to the first courses, and finally to a delicious fried fish dish, we noticed the quality of the ingredients used and the skill of the chef, who works in this sector. They have a knack for putting guests at ease, and credit goes to manager Filomena, who delighted us with her friendliness and professionalism. In short, what can I say? A highly recommended restaurant if you want to be pampered and spend a pleasant evening with excellent food and music.

20/08/2025: Highly recommended. We ordered everything from prosciutto and melon to seafood and pasta...even the desserts were excellent. The setting is nestled in the green hills between Bardolino, Costermano, and Garda, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the lakeside tourism. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
