09/06/2025: Really light dough. Maybe my favorite thing. Usually I can't finish a whole pizza, but here I can and without feeling too heavy. Friendly staff. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the cost of water and service charge which I found a bit excessive (3€ each) and the fact that maybe they could have put a little more on the pizza. The price of the pizzas was in line. Overall a good experience

31/08/2025: A place of impeccable quality. The stunning and welcoming location inside a historic building, right on the moat in front of the medieval fortress. The menu and the selection of wines, cocktails, and spirits were very interesting. All the dishes were delicious, especially the raw fish. The desserts were simply luxurious. The service was very attentive and friendly, many thanks to Aurora for her attentive service... the only downside, in my opinion, was that after the appetizers, the first and second courses could have been served together. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but they're absolutely in line with the quality of the food. Highly recommended, especially for romantic occasions.

17/08/2025: We return here from time to time because it's one of the most interesting restaurants in the area. Unique dishes and excellent wines. And, weather permitting, dining outside, facing the Rocca di Noale, adds an extra touch to the experience.

15/07/2025: It's always a pleasure for us to return to La Cicala Restaurant. The seafood dishes are excellent! The service is impeccable. The setting is elegant and the staff is attentive and helpful.

31/08/2025: Booked this morning for a business lunch. Everything was excellent. Very good service, clearly a school run by the family. Good food, decent portions, and everything was well-served. The atmosphere wasn't as chaotic as the usual business lunch restaurants. Definitely recommended!

21/08/2025: The restaurant may not be the most modern, but the cuisine is excellent. Bigoli with white duck ragù, well-made and very delicate. Cod Piacenza-style with polenta, delicious. Pan-fried horse meat slices, perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. Excellent tiramisu. Cookies with Chantilly cream to finish. Enjoyable house red wine. Reasonable prices.

07/09/2025: I decided to give it 5 stars anyway because the food was truly good and high-quality. We had appetizers, first courses, second courses, and dessert. Compliments to the chefs. As for the service, it was disappointing, especially from one of the waiters (a young man with a tattoo on his neck). When ordering dessert, we asked for two long coffees. After a few minutes, he came back with just one coffee (a decaf, by the way), so we asked for another (he's perfectly understandable if he forgets...). Instead, he rudely replied, "Could you have told me right from the start so I could avoid making 10 rounds?" At the time, we were really disappointed and didn't point out that we'd actually ordered two, but now I regret it because I should have told the owner... and who knows, maybe he'll recommend he take a course in hospitality and customer service techniques.

04/09/2025: An evening gathering place for young people, but also suitable for older guests for an excellent aperitivo. Quality wines at reasonable prices and excellent cicchetti of all kinds. Recommended for both aperitivo and informal lunches and dinners (reservations are recommended).

30/08/2025: The pizza was really thin, light, easy to digest, and tasty. It didn't leave me thirsty. I could have definitely eaten another one right after. A wide selection of delicious desserts. Really good price! The waiters were kind and always smiling! Highly recommended.

The restaurant is clean, with welcoming and knowledgeable staff who eloquently provided clear and accurate explanations of our requests regarding the dishes we ordered. The menu is very varied, ranging from pizza to meat and fish. The wine selection is average. I found the dishes I ordered respected and valued, and the owner was kind and attentive. I had a delicious vegetable and sausage pizza, and it was truly large. I can only compliment the entire staff. Christian

29/05/2025: I have been to "A Casa Vecia" in Moniego and I really liked it. The place is nice and welcoming, although unfortunately there is no parking and you have to make do a bit in the surroundings. I had a hamburger and it was really good, with tasty and well-cooked meat. The menu is unique and also offers ostrich, zebra and other exotic meats, something that you can't find everywhere. The prices are excellent, especially considering the quality and originality of the dishes. The service is simple but kind, everything flows without problems. Overall, a nice experience: I will gladly return and I recommend it to anyone who wants to try something different.

15/07/2025: Arriviamo in questo locale con tutti i migliori auspici. Ne abbiamo sempre sentito parlare benissimo da chi lo frequenta regolarmente…e in zona gode di una certa “fama”. Prima cosa, locale caotico. Devi urlare per capirti e sentirti. Il ragazzo che viene a prendere le ordinazioni è sul lentuccio a segnare le variazioni (poche!!)ai piatti che avevamo scelto ma vabbè, non avevamo fretta. Peccato però che il toast alla francese scelto da mia figlia, non avesse la variazione chiesta. Quindi ha dovuto aspettare che glielo rifacessero. A parte questo, arriviamo alla qualità del cibo. I funghi sono quelli che si trovano nelle scatolette del supermercato. Tutti gli ingredienti sia dei toast che dell’hamburger di mio marito…COMPLETAMENTE insipidi. Zero sale. Quindi se soffri di pressione alta, sei nel posto giusto!! Inoltre sia il panino di mio marito che i nostri toast non erano “legati” fra di loro, il pane si staccava dal resto e ti rendevi così conto che la tanto decantata mozzarella in realtà…c’era? Non c’era?? Mistero…era tutto slegato, gommoso, secco, bisognava masticare bene sennò il boccone non andava giù! Ma d’altronde è normale se ti trovi sul piatto qualcosa di più simile ad un chewing-gum che ad un toast… Altra cosa. Tavoli mignon, se non stai attento ti cade per terra la bottiglia d’acqua o altro…devi stare immobile e vedrai che salverai la cena, anche se non merita. Ah, dimenticavo di parlare delle verdure pastellate…a parte essere 4…forse 5…erano imbevute nell’olio quindi pesanti e stomachevoli. Forse il cuoco lo sa, ecco perché ne mette poche. Ma te le fa pagare come fossero tante! Insomma, noi non torneremo ma a chi piace trangugiare e basta e spendere parecchio per la scarsa qualità di ciò che trangugi, allora okay, il Cortivo è perfetto!!
