08/03/2026: Magnificent hotel, with very beautiful surrounding scenery

02/03/2026: We love the hotel and the owners & staff. Super nice rooms and a lovely bar/restaurant. Unfortunately, the huge construction site in front of the train station has somewhat detracted from the ambiance for the past two years.

02/03/2026: The carbonara was unbelievable. Fresh pasta and generous portions. Don’t pass on the tiramisu.

28/02/2026: We're going to dinner with a group of friends and lots of children. The tables are far apart, when it would have been enough to put them at a table behind their parents', isolating the group from the rest of the restaurant. Instead, two parents always get up to check on the little ones. At 9:30 PM, the chef leaves and closes the kitchen... so why are you staying open for dinner?! If you don't order everything right away, at 9:15 PM, there are shocked looks, then annoyance, when someone asks for an extra dish. We should all be sent to Romagna for a crash course in customer service. A chef from Romagna gets out of bed and goes chasing the cow if you ask for a rib-eye steak outside of normal hours.

24/01/2026: What an absolute treasure this place is. Spent 5 days skiing with Tiziana and being treated to superb hospitality by Gianluca and his team. The accomodations were comfortable and the dinners were delicious (thank you Carmine!) ... And the views each morning (see pictures) were simply stunning. If you have a chance to go and stay here during the winter ski season ... JUST DO IT and thank me later!

19/02/2026: When I come to Cortina I always have the habit of eating here... for the goodness of the dishes, the kindness and courtesy of Sara*****'s 5-star service and the welcoming atmosphere... but then what more can I say... "seeing is believing" cit. Jerry Calà.

17/02/2026: The food was delicious, and for Cortina, the price was fair. The space between tables is very narrow, and you don't know where to hang your jackets. Also, considering the Olympics, they should be more careful. It opens at 12:00 and quickly filled up because the competitions started at 2:00. You can't turn on the heating at 12:00. The dining room wasn't ready either. I'd definitely go back.

08/01/2026: The bald waiter was very rude, yelling and pressuring us. He didn't even write down the order properly.

30/12/2025: The restaurant doesn't take reservations; it's first-come, first-served. Anyone not wearing proper thermal clothing will freeze outside. Plus, there's the incessant cigarette smoke. You have to eat your food quickly or it gets cold. The service is very poor, despite the good will and friendliness of the person taking orders. They're wasting money because we couldn't stand it and left. The food is good and the wine list is quite extensive.

24/02/2026: Bar & club in the center of Cortina. The place is small but cozy, decorated in a mountain style. Ideal for an aperitif or after-dinner drink. They organize evenings and DJ sets on weekends. The staff is friendly and helpful, and service is fast.

13/02/2026: The bruschetta was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the prices were reasonable. We'll be back!

28/10/2025: Last minute stay during late season (end of October) and it was a very pleasant surprise. Comfortable beds, great staff, and we ended up eating in the restaurant even though we had booked a room with no board, and it was delicious. Local food done simple and well. Wish we had more than 16 hours to spend there.

25/02/2026: We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at the Sport Hotel Barisetti. Everything was perfect and top quality - from the location, the room, friendliness of all the staff, cleanliness of the whole hotel, quality of food and choice of wines, and the views from the hotel in every direction are amazing. I’d imagine it would be a great place to stay in Summer too as there are so many interesting walks. A great place, loved it.

08/02/2026: Fantastic hotel in Cortina ! 50 meters from the lift, large and warm rooms, large balcony, excellent service and food. I had a wonderful stay, highly recommend!

09/02/2026: Whenever we are in Cortina, we always make time for Leone e Anna. A cosy, intimate restaurant with great food and genuinely warm and outstanding service. Definitely recomend booking ahead for dinner.

10/03/2026: Truly a beautiful place with a frozen lake and the option to skate on it. A very well-kept restaurant with high-quality food, prices are definitely not cheap, but the service is commensurate with the cost.

04/02/2026: Really very nice to drink a hot chocolate with cream, a bombardino, a strudel (delicious), the studel and the chocolate especially after a 6 hour walk I must say quiet place, welcoming sitting outside with mushrooms and the blanket, looking at the panorama immersed in the snow really beautiful

04/03/2026: Very awful and pretty much scandalic burger if we can call it like that. It was not even in menu, but when it came.. On first look it was trully bad, on a second it was terrifying bad. On a bill it was named panno rosso, but the waiter told us it is a burger. It is also not a panno. Its just rosso.

25/02/2026: food was nice enough and a decent price but it took around 15 minutes of waiting for them to take my order and i had to stand and wait by the till for another 10 minutes to pay afterwards. staff were also rather blunt and their general attitude detracted from the overall experience.

03/02/2026: A very aesthetically pleasing restaurant, with a varied menu that raises high expectations. Unfortunately, the dining experience didn't live up to the setting. The food turned out to be of rather low quality compared to what one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber, and in a location like Cortina. I personally ordered a pork shank: although I ate it all (I don't usually leave food on my plate), it was clearly overcooked, with a very tough texture and an unpleasant taste. One part was really difficult to chew. I mentioned this to the waitress at the end of the meal, but she replied that "no one has ever complained," without any apology or attention to the feedback received. This attitude is a bit perplexing, especially since the staff generally seemed cold, unsmiling, and lacking enthusiasm. Other dishes at the table were also unimpressive, coming across as mediocre and poorly prepared. In short, it's one of those places where you expect to eat well, but in the end, the food is terrible. It's a shame, because the restaurant has so much potential. I hope this review will be helpful to future customers and, perhaps, provide inspiration for improving the quality of the food and customer service.
