18/07/2026: We wanted to buy bottled water, and the guy asked if we had our own bottles and poured us some free tap water. I don't know if that's standard, I wasn't expecting that, but it was very nice. Thank you!

22/05/2026: Great food, awful service from the male host who treated us with disdain. Luckily, another waiter stepped in and gave us a much better service. Would not come back.

Half board is expensive, dinner is good.
I miss coffee machine in the room.
I think it’s basic in 2026.

14/06/2026: The team made a lot of efforts to ensure a good stay. The rooms are renovated and the beds were comfortable. The lake views from the hotel are very nice.
25/05/2026: This review is not about the hotel but the restaurant inside. Our tour group stopped for lunch here and we were recommended to try the local Dolomite cuisine. Among several dishes, we had the tagliatelle cooked with deer meat and the gnocchi stuffed with hare and they were absolutely delicious. The staff were also efficient in their service and friendly. A good place to have lunch and a break if you are around this area!

14/07/2026: We came here to eat pizza after reading the good reviews. The service was quick.
We ordered two slices of pizza and a croquette. After ordering, the pizza slices were heated in a small oven for about one minute, and the croquette in the microwave. The result was a lukewarm slice of pizza and a soggy croquette.
Not recommended for us.

21/04/2026: Beautiful experience, a mountain hut surrounded by nature... Between snow and meadows... Very comfortable room and delicious and tasty breakfast... To be repeated!
08/04/2026: My partner and I got lost coming down from Cinque Torri, as there was so much snow that the trail markers were barely visible. We decided to end up in Poccol, a village 10km from our campervan, which was parked at Passo Guiau. It was getting very late, so we decided to hitchhike, but very few people were passing by. Luckily, we came across Peziè de Parù, and the owner offered us a ride back to where our campervan was parked. She also refused to take any of the money we offered her out of gratitude for her kindness.
I wish there were more people like her in the world.

25/02/2026: We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at the Sport Hotel Barisetti. Everything was perfect and top quality - from the location, the room, friendliness of all the staff, cleanliness of the whole hotel, quality of food and choice of wines, and the views from the hotel in every direction are amazing. I’d imagine it would be a great place to stay in Summer too as there are so many interesting walks. A great place, loved it.
08/02/2026: Fantastic hotel in Cortina ! 50 meters from the lift, large and warm rooms, large balcony, excellent service and food. I had a wonderful stay, highly recommend!

08/07/2026: A disgrace. I still can't believe how a cappuccino as awful as the one served to me by the barista at the Bar Dolomiti in Cortina d'Ampezzo could be made in an Italian café. If this is the quality we boast about and want to showcase to the rest of the world, we're done for. This café should be shut down for damage to all our reputations. The ancestors who opened the café in 1886 are surely revolting.

09/07/2026: Heard about the hot tub so emailed Tania through the website to book it and dinner! It was incredible, best ravioli I’ve ever had! Delicious home made grappa!
And sharing a cheeseboard and Prosecco in a hot tub with views of the mountains and sunset over Cortina was very very special!! I’ll be back
07/07/2026: Some friends and I did a day a couple of days of hiking and wanted some time to relax. We found this place had a hot tub, with the most spectacular views across cortina. We also had dinner which I found to be the best meal I’ve had in Cortina. It was delicious but also a homemade vibe. Would highly recommend!

07/03/2026: A wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, the food and pizza were wonderful, and the colors and sheets of paper were fun for the little ones. Highly recommended! And if you love French fries, polenta, cheese, sausage, and mushrooms, or tasty, thin-crust pizza, this is the place for you.

03/05/2026: We had such a well-deserved dinner here after 2 days of hikes. It was marvellous, and for very decent prices. The food was scrumptious, the wine was fantastic, and the desserts were on another level... definitely coming back here next tome we're in town!
25/04/2026: Not a bad place, but as a new Italian, I'd be offended by the carbonara with cream (blasphemous). While I was eating the spatulas (even the inedible ones, since they reminded me of the ones from Lidl), I saw a Neapolitan pizza pass by, which, like in the Checco Zalone movie, should be removed from the pizzeria's "Neapolitan" name.
The strudel was inedible; it looked like a badly made crepe passed off as strudel, while the ice cream with warm raspberries wasn't bad. It should be noted, however, that it was the only edible thing we tried today.
I think reinterpretations should be made, not of cult Italian cuisine.

11/05/2026: Great dive bar but cozy vibes, amazing prices. They have alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, cafe, some snacks. They serve chips with your drink. Some sitting and standing area. 11/10.
