20/07/2025: This place is going to blow up on social media. So if you are in Venice, I would highly recommend coming before reservations become impossible. The food is incredible here - both in terms of aesthetics and taste. I had the sea bass carpaccio as an appetizer and the mackerel for my main. The fish is so soft and buttery, I can’t believe mackeral could be so soft - literally butter - but with crispy skin! It’s clear the chef prepared the food with lots of love and care. For dessert I ended up with the tiramisu which truly was the best in Venice. The cream was so light but tasted decadent and the whole thing was so fresh. The service was also impeccable. They really want you to understand what you are ordering so you get a good experience. I loved this place so much and I can’t wait to come back!

15/07/2025: Coworkers suggested this place for a business dinner, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The raw fish was excellent, and the main course was good. The chef is a true food enthusiast. I'll be back.

09/07/2025: A wonderful evening with friends, but the quality wasn't the only thing. All the dishes were very well-balanced and expertly paired with top-quality ingredients. The service was discreet and very professional, yet friendly. Definitely worth a try!

09/06/2025: Really light dough. Maybe my favorite thing. Usually I can't finish a whole pizza, but here I can and without feeling too heavy. Friendly staff. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the cost of water and service charge which I found a bit excessive (3€ each) and the fact that maybe they could have put a little more on the pizza. The price of the pizzas was in line. Overall a good experience

06/08/2025: We accidentally came across Al Cafatier while looking for a restaurant based on a recommendation and we didn't regret it. Friendly hosts, excellent food, a restaurant that is not fancy but has soul. The prices are very affordable, so for a menu of salad, main course and drink you pay only €17 per person, which is cheap and the food is fresh and tasty and prepared quickly. When we come to Venice again, we will definitely come here for lunch

27/07/2025: Just off the beaten path lies the most excellent pizza I've eaten on my Italia journey so far! Excellent staff, cozy enviroment and well priced food especially for being in the centre of Venedig! Strongly recommend the Prosciutto El funghi Pizza 🍕 and I've also heard that the Creme brulee is amazing!!! They also gave us free limoncello digestivo after the food was finished, but I forgot to take a picture before I drank it.

04/08/2025: We walked 10min to have breakfast specifically at this place and unfortunately it was closed at 9:30AM, even though according to Google maps info it should have been open at that time and day of the week.

03/08/2025: Ok, so I don't post restaurant reviews, but these people blew me away so I have to give them 5 stars. I would give them 6 if I could. Can't tell you what I ordered since I don't read Italian, but it was so good I ordered a second helping. And I don't even eat pizza in the US. But better yet, the employees treated me with such warm kindness in spite of the language barrier. I wish people in my country were this respectful to people from other countries. In short, I love this place! ❤️❤️❤️

11/08/2025: Found it thanks to Google Maps, a bit inconspicuous. But the pizza...super delicious, the service consistently attentive, and in our case, no long wait. It got busier and busier during our visit; I noticed someone complaining about the wait for the food. But for one thing, it took less than 20 minutes for the food to arrive at their table, and for another, it's not a frozen pizza that cooks up in eight minutes. 20 minutes in a full restaurant is no long wait...but even then, the service remained polite and brought over extra bread, a great solution. We'll be back whenever possible, and if we can't get a seat...then rightly so; excellent pizza; the owners deserve a full restaurant!

04/07/2025: Like many others already have written, this really is a hidden gem. Perfect to come there late in the evening when the sun goes down. The food and wine was exceptional and incredibly prizeworthy considering the amount of food you get. Definitely worth a visit for meatlovers!

29/06/2025: An unforgettable evening at Glam di Enrico Bartolini - a Michelin 2-star gem that truly lived up to the hype. From the first bite to the last, every dish was thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Not a single miss - and many absolute standouts. The service was warm, gracious, and attentive throughout. It was the most comfortable Michelin meal we've had. It felt like we can relax and be ourselves without the pretentious vibe and yet stay elegant! Compliment to the team and how welcoming they are to my daughter! My 7 year old daughter was treated like a princess with her own special pasta (which she said was the best pasta ever!) and dessert, and even got to meet the chef behind this extraordinary meal! One of the best Michelin meals we've ever had - refined, elegant, and full of delightful surprises. Already dreaming of coming back someday.

The cuisine blends tradition and creativity beautifully — nothing flashy, just deep, confident flavors and great respect for local ingredients. The seafood dishes were particularly memorable, and the pasta was delicate yet full of character. Wine was perfectly matched — each glass enhanced the dish, and the sommelier’s recommendations were spot-on: professional, low-key, and confident. We came during the day, and the dining room was bright and filled with natural light. It created an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere — refined but never stiff. Service was outstanding — attentive without being intrusive, with a natural sense of pace. And most surprisingly — we left full and satisfied! That’s not something you expect from fine dining. The portions, though refined, were generous and thoughtfully structured across the menu. Yes, it’s expensive. But the quality, creativity, and overall experience fully justify the price. If you view cuisine as a form of art, this is absolutely one of the must-visit restaurants in Venice — whether for a special lunch or dinner. Prise for 2 persons

16/07/2025: My wife and I had dinner at this pizzeria; I'd never been there before. It's a great place, away from the hustle and bustle; we opted to dine inside. The service was EXCELLENT; all the staff were always smiling (which is a blessing, even for those like us who have received it). The place is really cute, in a great location with minimal traffic. The parking lot is small, but there's a parking spot just steps away. Finally...the pizza (because that's what we came for); personally, we found it to be EXCELLENT. The prices are really excellent/fair for the quality and deliciousness of the pizza. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We'll be back!
