Simply the BEST restaurant I've ever eaten on earth. The owner and his wife (who runs the kitchen) are absolutely fantastic! Delicious, sophisticated food, all in a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere. And all this at an incredible price!!

A fantastic experience! Jasmine in the kitchen and Nino serving us provided a wonderful meal, with an attentiveness and professionalism that made all the difference. Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I took a chance that lunch was still being served and we were welcomed warmly. The restaurant is beautifully appointed and situated and the owner introduced us to the menu options, including showing us the dishes in photographic form. We chose the two course set menu and both had the same. The burrata with artichoke for starters and the gnocchi with duck ragù to follow. Having been in Venice for 5 days we can both say this was by far the best meal we have had. Both courses were delicious, particularly the gnocchi. We were also served warm bread with beautiful olive oil to dip it in. We could not resist desert and my wife had the panna cotta with passion fruit and strawberries, while I had the tiramisu. Again beautify presented and tasted fantastic. We finished with coffee and a tea, along with a lovely homemade chocolate biscuit and raspberry jelly. The service was exceptional. We were treated with patience and never rushed, all of which led to a wonderful experience. I cannot recommend El Magazen highly enough.

A wonderful discovery. Everything is carefully considered, from the choice of tableware to the flavor combinations in the dishes. A small, intimate dining room with attentive service. Excellent wine list, available by the glass or bottle.

I visited Venice alone and had a very delicious and comfortable meal here. I ordered the lunch course, and the dishes were unique and full of character, truly reflecting the restaurant’s style. the wine pairing with kind explanations were a wonderful bonus.

This is the authentic Venetian spirit perfected. Do yourself a favor: if you are ever in Venice, make sure you stop by and say hi to Francesco! ​Bacaro ae Bricoe is truly an unmissable gem. Not only do you get this incredibly warm, familial service, but the location is spectacular—it’s a beautiful waterfront spot, perfect for sipping an ombra and watching the boats go by. The atmosphere is cozy, rustic, and constantly buzzing with happy locals. ​And let's talk about the food and value. Their cicchetti are miniature masterpieces of Venetian flavor, but the prices are highly reasonable, especially considering the quality and the prime location. 05/07/2026: Everything was perfect: super appetizers, top-notch fish pie, delicious desserts. The icing on the cake was Alessandro, the waiter, who was truly number one.
04/07/2026: The place is extraordinary. The restaurant doesn't rest on its idyllic location, however, and offers delicious, beautifully presented dishes and impeccable service. Thank you to Jacopo, who took excellent care of our table.
