I've been going there since I went to school years ago, and still years later, it's one of the best places if you want to eat good food without spending a lot of money. The staff is always friendly, the environment is informal and makes you feel at home. There is always a bit of a queue, but they are well organized and despite everything in a few minutes of queuing you are already ordering. The food is exquisite: from daily specials, to panzerotti, to focaccia. Low prices. They also sell drinks. Recommended if you are looking for excellent street food and are in the area.

Prima del 2020 forniva ottime focacce, con ampia scelta e prezzi molto bassi (2€ al trancio). Dopo invece la qualità mi è sembrata inferiore ma il prezzo è aumentato notevolmente (3€ per lo stesso trancio) e con una scelta minore di gusti: ormai ci sono molti altri locali nella zona con prezzi quasi più convenienti. Il personale è sempre lo stesso, molto gentile e disponibile.

15/01/2024: Large space with several tables for breakfasts and snacks.
13/11/2023: The pastry shop is welcoming and offers ample space, so even when full this is not perceived excessively. Being a bakery, the type of brioche offered in my opinion follows a bit the "fullness" of the bread dough, which is why I usually orient myself towards something else (here it's pure personal taste). Without naming competition, this pastry shop offers a type of croissant that is less sophisticated than others, but on average than most found around. Apart from an episode of forgetfulness (when I ordered a pistachio brioche with almost no filling which they then kindly filled), I must say that it is an average pastry shop. The coffee is also good. Certainly for an aperitif the price of prosecco and other alcohol is a bit on the expensive range, but I believe this is a fact almost everywhere and unfortunately understandable with the general increase in prices. The plus for me is certainly the space outside and inside.

Bar L'Intermezzo

22/01/2024: Excellent place for a lunch break. Every day new proposals for delicious and balanced first and second courses (also vegetarian options), as well as salads or sandwiches/toasts. The inevitable dessert at the end of lunch is also excellent.
04/01/2024: I often go to Intermezzo for my lunch break and every time I return to work satisfied. Good choice of dishes, I recommend the first courses for which I am pleasantly surprised every time. And at the end of the meal you can't give up an excellent dessert A bit chaotic environment but being a destination for many workers you can't expect more (and the fact that it is very popular is a good sign 😃)
