21/01/2026: A lovely restaurant with a stunning view, located right next to the Plose cable car station. Stopping for lunch, I enjoyed an excellent Wiener Schnitzel, made with turkey, accompanied by excellent blueberry jam and French fries. I'd also recommend their mixed herb soup with stracciatella cheese and crouton. They offer an excellent selection of wines. The waiter was very friendly and attentive.

07/01/2026: The rooms are basic and basic, without TVs, but still comfortable. The food is EXCELLENT, with generous portions, and is run by young, dynamic, talented, kind, and fast staff. Kudos to everyone!

02/01/2026: On Saturday evening, the restaurant was practically empty, so our reservation proved unnecessary. Many negative reviews mention the service. However, ours was friendly and quick. The menu is suspiciously extensive and even mentions the possible use of frozen food. The pizzas, however, are baked in a wood-fired oven. The quality of the dishes we ordered from the daily specials menu was okay, nothing more. Three prawns on the risotto seemed very meager for €18. The veal fillet was tender and well-cooked. Overall, though, the portion (including the side dishes) was too small for €29. The presentation on the plate was completely uninspired. We even wondered if the Ramazotti we ordered was actually the real deal.
In short: the prices are completely disproportionate to the quality. It's acceptable in a pinch, especially if other restaurants are packed.
31/12/2025: Dated but welcoming atmosphere. I must say the food is really good. We had dinner there for New Year's Eve. The pizza, although thin, is really good. For starters, we ordered the canederli and the farmer's plate. Very good and generous portions. We spent the right amount.

Ristorante La Finestra

14/07/2025: In una delle giornate trascorse alla Plose abbiamo fatto sosta pranzo in uno dei bar ristorante che frequentiamo quando siamo in zona e La Finestra sorge proprio a ridosso della cabinovia.
Ci siamo accomodati nel dehor, ma il locale è anche molto carino all’interno, mentre il menù è più simile a quello di un ristorante cittadino (e quasi stellato) che a quello di un rifugio di montagna e ciò, oltre che per opportuna premessa, anche per farvi capire il livello del bar ristorante.
I piatti non sono moltissimi, ma mediamente gradevoli agli occhi e al palato, con tocchi stagionali e, giustamente, alcuni di essi legati alla tradizione tirolese.
Noi abbiamo optato per una porzione (primo: € 17) de La finestra di canederli con insalata di crauti, assolutamente delizioso nel sapore e molto accattivante nella presentazione (è proprio servito in una piccola anta di finestra!) ed un’ottima insalata di avocado.
A chiudere condividendo un fresco e delicato dessert (€ 6), un Sorbetto estivo con menta, cioè una pallina di gelato alla fragola, una pallina di gelato al limone e sciroppo di menta. Ad accompagnare il pasto due birre (una piccola ed una media) chiare alla spina e due caffè per un totale di € 54. Con ottimo servizio e cura dei particolari.
Mi sento di consigliarvelo, anche solo per un aperitivo o colazione, se voleste regalarvi una coccola ai piedi delle Dolomiti...in questo magnifico scenario della Plose!
