21/09/2025: We stumbled upon this gelateria because it was the only one open in the area on a Sunday evening. We opted for two small cones with two flavors (€2.80 each): hazelnut and pistachio, and Modica chocolate and lemon. I didn't have time to take a photo because I literally devoured it. Excellent flavor, excellent product quality, and truly generous portions! The owners are incredibly kind and smiling. I highly recommend them!

But now everything is terrible: the food is tasteless (we ordered the set menu), the waiters are unfriendly, the service is poor (dirty plates sit on the table for a long time, they didn't take our order for 30 minutes, and the food took a very long time to prepare). Some dishes were ruined; for example, the appetizer was very bitter, but no one apologized or replaced the dish. For a dinner for two for €150, the quality is very poor.

04/10/2025: We stumbled upon this gem by accident, being too early for our train. This pasticceria is located just outside the city center and the nice lady who served us didn't speak English and hardly understood us when we tried to order. But she served us with a smile anyways and we ate a wide array of delicious pastries for a good price. While we were sitting there, we only saw locals come in. If you are in Siena, don't be afraid to leave the tourist path and come to Corsini. Maybe learn how to order in Italian or use google translate though, but even if you do end up clumsily ordering pastries while pointing at the treats like we did, you will not regret it!

14/10/2025: I had dinner there two nights ago. It was a feast for the senses: the atmosphere, the ability to talk at the table, the owner's advice when serving you... and above all, the quality of the food. I really enjoyed the dishes. Incredible vegetables, delicious stewed meat, and delicious crostini. 😍 Because it's far from Spain... hahaha, otherwise... I would go here for dinner at least once a month.

30/09/2025: Our stay at Borgo Casa al Vento was wonderful. We were looking for relaxation and nature, and we found so much more: authentic hospitality, a beautiful village nestled in the vineyards, and an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. With our two-year-old, we felt calm and serene, right at home but with all the attention you'd expect from a special vacation. From panoramic pools to a vinotherapy spa, picnics among the vineyards, and unforgettable dinners with their wines, every day was a unique experience. It's a place that combines comfort and authenticity, capable of creating lasting memories. We can't wait to return.

06/11/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant, located in a green area just behind Piazza del Campo in Siena. Given the beautiful day, I ate under a pergola, but the restaurant has several rooms, even in winter. Excellent local cuisine, a green setting, and the owners, very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

This is a kiosk, an outpost of sincerity and authentic flavor. Sure, the aesthetics aren't that of a luxury establishment, but that's a detail you forget the moment the sandwich arrives. The lampredotto is monumental: when they hand it to you, the intense, authentic aroma transports you to ancient flavors. At first bite, the contrast between the Tuscan bread and the softness of the filling is a true lesson in taste. I exchanged a glance with my friend, a silent understanding that said it all. The service is the soul of the place: fast, cheerful, genuine. I've been there maybe three or four times, but every time I leave thinking that a place like this deserves a regular weekly stop. Here, quality isn't an opinion, it's a fact. PS: Don't miss the kebab.

10/09/2025: Just the place I was looking for to stop for lunch before the long ride back to Milan by motorcycle. A small kiosk with a myriad of options, all featuring local products and recipes, the kind that make your mouth water just reading the menu 😋. Lampredotto, tripe, tongue, porchetta, and liver served in sandwiches or kebabs or as main courses, along with a remarkable selection of pasta dishes. Given the journey ahead, I had to eat lightly and opted for a delicious fresh sausage and stracchino sandwich accompanied by a small beer for a total of €9.50. I've saved the address; I'll see you again when I'm back in the area 😊.
