21/08/2024: Not to be missed. Could be the best-located bar in Sicily. Incomparable baroque cathedral next door. Incomparable chocolate too - Modica chocolate (unique in texture and taste) is of course the best in the world, by a very very long way....

19/08/2024: Small restaurant next to the Duomo of Modica. We had a Sicilian salad and two paninis (Sicilian and rustic) with beer and chocolate dessert Very well priced, GREAT, homemade food, perfect service Highly recommended!!!!!

25/08/2024: The atmosphere of the place is beautiful, in the east there are tables and sofas outside under the olive trees to create a very suggestive atmosphere. The staff, in addition to being extremely professional, is very kind and helpful towards customers. Finally, the dishes have the right balance between refinement and taste. Unfortunately the photos don't do it enough! Honorable mention to the bread they produce which we ordered at least 2 or 3 times, amazing. Everything delicious, I highly recommend this place!

10/08/2024: Cremolata is usually good but I have to remove a couple of stars because unfortunately as cremolata they are very good one day, and then after a couple of weeks taking the same flavor the flavor changes... We took 2 which both had a very bitter taste compared to the time before. So when we go we are never sure if that day will be fantastic or something completely different, but more than half the time it must be said that it is good...

21/07/2024: We ate a pizza with friends several times in this very welcoming and nice place with outdoor tables in the summer and we had a great time, perfect pizza dough, very light, quality toppings, even the cooking of the pizza was excellent, plus the kindness of the owners and impeccable service, then it is located a stone's throw from the centre, after dinner I recommend taking a walk to see the baroque of Modica.

22/08/2024: We stayed in this property in June 2024, the beach and all the common areas were very well kept and clean. The room we used was very large and clean, with windows that retained external noises and temperatures very well. the large bathroom well equipped with hairdryer, good hygiene products and many towels always available. The restaurant where we had breakfast, lunch and dinner was a discovery with always different courses for all tastes. The dining room staff is always available. Great kindness from the reception staff.

16/08/2024: Very beautiful Veratour village, recently renovated, spacious rooms, very clean and well-kept, top beach and sea, very discreet entertainment. The proposed excursions were well organised, with excellent guides. Not to mention the typically Sicilian cuisine... the top. Super recommended!!!!!

06/07/2024: We have been everyday for a week and there is always good coffee, good vibe and good service! Plus, they have a good selection of spirits and also natural wines from Sicily, which is a big plus.

The problem is the shop is too small and in moments of confusion you can't understand anything. There are always those who try to move on. This can be solved with numbers. It would be a small investment that would help customers not get nervous.

19/07/2024: Locale ampio luminoso e moderno. Scaffali pieni di prodotti dolci e salati. Abbiamo assaggiato alcune specialità dolciarie. Ottimo il cioccolato fondente modicano.

13/07/2024: Dopo aver girato Modica a piedi in lungo, in largo e... in alto, tornando a prendere la macchina, a pomeriggio inoltrato siamo entrati quasi per caso alla Casa Don Puglisi - La Bottega, per bere ancora qualcosina prima di ripartire per Ortigia. Ma che bella sorpresa è stata! Bar, proposte dolci e salate per tutti i gusti, negozio con golosità del luogo, e anche una fornita libreria. Inoltre, giovani, meno giovani, anziani, riuniti tutti lì a leggere, bere e mangiare. E alla fine, non abbiamo bevuto un caffè veloce, ma ci siamo intrattenuti per una bella oretta, curiosando qua e là e facendo pure qualche acquisto. Fra l'altro, qui l'acqua da bere è gratis, perché l'acqua è un bene comune che va condiviso, anche con il cuore, e non deve essere un bene oggetto di sfruttamento. Con la creazione di questa casa non solo si è reso omaggio alla memoria di Don Puglisi, ma si è dato vita a un punto di aggregazione davvero notevole. Bravi!
