We had dinner at this nice looking restaurant.
Unfortunately, there was a hair in the appetizer. It can happen, but it shouldn't happen. The dish was replaced.
But what disappointed me most was the spaghetti with clams. The pasta seemed precooked, the sauce tasteless, and the clams weren't Mediterranean. Even the main course, in my opinion, wasn't local fish. I won't return.

16/07/2025: We absolutely fell in love with this pastry shop/restaurant. The welcome was exceptional: the woman who served us showed rare generosity. Despite the language barrier, she made the effort to understand and communicate with us, which was truly touching. She even offered us pastries!
The portions are very generous and everything was absolutely delicious. We discovered authentic Sardinian specialties, and the tiramisu was simply incredible. A huge thank you for this moment full of flavors and kindness. I highly recommend this place!

Fabulous poolside location, excellent service with maximum cordiality, average prices, considering the incredible fact that we ate only the freshest fish in a location inland Sardinia, said by a person who lives by the sea!
Lunch for a family occasion, amazing mixed appetizers... unforgettable fried octopus and monkfish, maccheroni di busa allo scoglio (one of their specialties with handmade pasta) fried calamari... and then we had to give up!
Restaurant to remember, very convenient just after the Cossoine exit of the 131 highway.

13/06/2025: Best restaurant in Sardinia, I haven't had such good cacio e pepe in a long time. Pasta with perfect tomato sauce as well as the semi-cooked tuna. Good revisited tiramisu, friendly service, bravo!
11/06/2025: I went to this restaurant for a group lunch after a morning at the racetrack and I was very impressed. The menu is varied and interesting, with really competitive prices. We shared some first courses and a fried fish: everything was excellent, both in quality and presentation. I will definitely return to try other dishes!

14/07/2025: We came on a Monday evening at 8:00 PM. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was excellent, and the service was excellent. I recommend booking as soon as possible. The Google page might suggest it's closed on Mondays, but it's actually open.

08/07/2025: Very friendly service, a large selection of pizzas—both classic and more unusual. The pizzas tasted very good; the dough was a bit dark (perhaps dark flour with whole wheat or something similar) and really delicious.

Biscotti e dolcetti tutti buonissimi, tumbarelle ineguagliabili… abbiamo provato anche la pasta fresca (ravioli, gnocchi di patate e gnocchetti sardi) ottima! Personale molto accogliente e professionale. Se andate a Stintino non potete non fare tappa al Bicottificio Demelas! Consigliatissimo!
08/07/2025: Fanno dei dolci buonissimi è il terzo anno che veniamo in Sardegna ed è un tappa fissa tutto delizioso come il personale accogliente il locale bello e pulito prima della partenza ci ritorneremo sicuramente

30/06/2025: After a long climb and a few stairs up to the Castelsardo castle, we found this very nice trattoria and stopped to ask if there was room.
Very fresh fish and very good dishes, the service very efficient and very attentive...
The mixed fried food was super with the catch of the day too! I would gladly go back!
You eat fresh fish so the prices are a little high but in line with the restaurants and trattorias nearby...
27/06/2025: After waiting over an hour for the bus, we arrived at the top of Casteldefardo around 2:00 PM. Since it was lunchtime and we didn't have much time to compare options, we decided to sit down at this restaurant.
Upon reviewing the menu, we were surprised that no pasta dish was under 18 euros. We ordered a seafood fregola and spaghetti with mussels; the bill for these two dishes alone came to 40 euros. As for the food, the fregola was quite greasy and, overall, lacked the delicacy and balance of flavor expected at this price.
The spaghetti, meanwhile, arrived laden with oil, cheese, and oregano, with a presentation and combination of ingredients that struck us as unrefined and lacking in culinary coherence. The dining experience, in this case, did not justify the cost at all.
Considering the value for money, we opted not to order dessert. Another point to consider is the coperto, which is charged at €3 per person. During our stay in Sardinia, we visited several restaurants with more thoughtful offerings and more reasonable prices, and the coperto was always below this figure.
In short, we believe this establishment should reconsider its strategy: either adjust its prices to what they actually offer or raise the standard of its cuisine. As it stands, €22 for a pasta dish with this execution seemed disproportionate to us.
On the plus side, we should highlight the friendliness of the staff, who were attentive and cordial throughout. However, our overall rating is primarily influenced by the quality of the dishes and their price.
