Always excellent quality!
Delicious panzerotto. Light dough, dry fried food, just the right amount of toppings. Delicious, delicious, delicious!
It's a small place with just a few tables...but I guess it's more of a takeout place than a sit-down place, and you know, you can eat panzerotto standing up!
The only downside is the service isn't always friendly...a smile wouldn't hurt :)

A very charming location and fast service.
We started with delicious Ascolana olives, then moved on to the equally delicious pasta all'arrabbiata, a delicious rare steak, and an Antony pizza, a perfect combination of many ingredients that make this pizza the jewel in the crown of this restaurant.
Prices are reasonable.
Highly recommended.
06/03/2026: A friend brought me there, and I can tell you I was very satisfied. Excellent pizza, and the renowned penne alla vodka are excellent. I'll be back.

02/05/2026: We booked with The Fork with a 50% discount, which was also confirmed at checkout (drinks excluded), but which actually amounted to 10%.
An unfair commercial practice, as well as a complete rip-off. We wouldn't have had a problem paying full price, but what we really can't stomach is being ripped off: we won't be returning.

10/03/2026: Good morning. Today, for my birthday, I wanted to celebrate with my partner at the La Gioia bar on Via Dante. I'll start by saying that the place isn't huge, but it's very welcoming, and the staff is very polite and dedicated to their work. We had the white lasagna with mushrooms, which was very delicate and not at all heavy. The rustici platter was plentiful and well-filled. To finish, we had zeppole and cookies filled with various creams. And then the spritz...what can I say? I've never had a spritz this good, made exactly how I like it...and best of all, it didn't float in ice!
10/03/2026: Aperitivo number 1.
I haven't enjoyed such a good Aperol Spritz in years. Most bars in Taranto, and even other cities, water it down with lots of ice, and the Aperol is barely noticeable. The bartender, Angelo, knows how to measure the ingredients beautifully, and serves up an exceptional Aperol Spritz!
The white mushroom lasagna was so good I asked for seconds. The rest of the platter was excellent.
We finished with desserts prepared by the owner, from zeppiline to biscotti with pistachio and hazelnut cream.
The price was even too fair.
We'll definitely be back!

02/05/2026: Last night we spent a pleasant evening at this excellent restaurant in San Pietro in Bevagna. The atmosphere was lovely, no crowds, good music, excellent food, and friendly service. The sea urchin appetizer and fried fish were all excellent.

04/01/2026: Very friendly staff, an equally welcoming atmosphere, delicious food with short waits and constantly being baked. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. I think this place is one of the few remaining with truly modest prices. I hope to return soon.

Extremely creamy gelato, authentic flavors, and top-quality ingredients. You can immediately taste the difference compared to ordinary gelato shops: every flavor is innovative, intense, natural, and perfectly balanced. The staff is incredibly friendly, always smiling, and happy to recommend the best pairings. The place is clean, welcoming, and has a truly pleasant atmosphere.
A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic artisanal gelato.
I would choose it again a thousand times over.
