02/11/2025: Excellent. Traditional Apulian cuisine, including some hard-to-find dishes. The staff is cheerful and engaging. The service is excellent. They offered us sorbets, coffees, and liqueurs. The value for money is excellent. The only downside is the noise: the dining room was packed, and many of us were talking loudly. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Apulian cuisine.

21/10/2025: About 5 km from Cisternino and 10 km from the wonderful town of Ostuni, in the heart of beautiful Puglia, in the Casalini area, lies this delightful restaurant, a must-try if you're in the area and especially if you're a true foodie! The cuisine is nothing short of exceptional! The dishes showcase typical inland Apulian cuisine! They're reminiscent of the Sunday meals our grandmothers cooked with so much love and passion (I think that's the highest comparison and compliment one can make). The appetizers offer a wide variety of choices, all exquisite, especially the eggplant parmigiana and the beef stew (absolutely not to be missed!). The first courses are also all delicious, and I especially recommend the orecchiette with turnip tops (exceptional!). The abundance of first courses is a distinctive feature of this restaurant and is truly indescribable (one first course is comparable in quantity to about three main courses at other restaurants). The main courses are also excellent, especially the tripe, so tender it melts in your mouth and cooked to perfection! The ingredients are top-quality, as are the cuts of meat. Add to this the skill and passion for cooking of Mr. Vito (the chef and owner), and the dishes become true poetry for the palate! It's a family-run business, and the owners are extremely kind, friendly, and accommodating to their guests' needs and requests. Table service is fast and efficient. The lady serving is very attentive, friendly, and sociable. The restaurant is rustic yet refined and well-maintained, with paintings on the walls that recall this wonderful region, particularly the Itria Valley. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed, suitable for all ages—children, adults, and seniors. It's popular with groups of foreign tourists, who bring a lot of cheer to the place. Free parking is also very easy to find nearby. Finally, the prices are more than fair. The quality-quantity-price ratio is excellent! It's a restaurant I highly recommend trying. If you go once, you'll definitely return! We, being fortunate to be from Puglia, always return with great pleasure, to the delight of our palates! 🍝😋👍👍👍

29/10/2025: Excellent gelateria with helpful and friendly staff; the ice cream is to die for, truly excellent, I had pear and pistachio: incredible; plus, you can even sit at small tables and chairs with a magnificent view of the city. I highly recommend it!

10/11/2025: Nothing wrong with the atmosphere or the service, but the price/quantity/quality ratio is very high. The portions are very small and limited, which is acceptable, but the prices are too high. Spending more than €35 per person for a few appetizers and a modest portion of meat, with nothing special in terms of quality, leaves a bitter taste in your mouth and a sense of being cheated. A real shame, given that Ceglie offers many excellent options for dining.

11/11/2025: Saturday night, the place was packed and we were worried about a long wait. We were disappointed by the quick service and excellent pizza. Congratulations

10/11/2025: We had a lunch experience to forget. The appetizer consisted of meatballs made only with bread, and mussels au gratin, perhaps prepared the day before, with a rubbery consistency. The first course was a lasagna that arrived disorganized, it looked like leftovers, like when you feed pork. The lasagna was also made with eggs, so it had a nauseating smell. The other first course was overcooked pasta, perhaps washed, topped with frozen shrimp. The second course was a slice of meat (what kind of meat was unknown) served with a water that tasted like mushrooms. Finally, the dessert was an industrial cake, like those from the supermarket. The only good thing was the French fries. Total €75 including the children's menu. The lady wanted to be nice and told me I shouldn't ask her for drinks, gesturing at me with her finger on the shoulder, as if I didn't know her. Furthermore, there was no daily menu.

30/11/2025: A special place to eat a good puccia. There are many options, or you can fill it however you like. The prices are affordable, and the girl who served us was very polite... Everything was perfect!

08/07/2025: Good food and generous portions. We tried the pizza, the grilled meat, and the excellent orecchiette with tomato sauce: simple, authentic, and flavorful. The restaurant is very popular with both tourists and locals, but despite its large seating capacity, the service was quick and efficient. The location is strategic, equidistant between Martina Franca, Cisternino, and Ostuni, ideal for a stop during a day of hiking in the Itria Valley. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but it offers honest, well-prepared, home-style cooking. The only minor detail—which I don't consider a real flaw—the grilled vegetables were a bit too raw for my taste. But that's a personal preference, not a criticism. Recommended, and I would gladly return.

12/10/2025: Fab find, superb views, staff super friendly and efficient, had the cheese and ham charcuterie which was fabulous. A bit of a chill wind was fixed by the blanket the waiter kindly provided!

11/10/2025: Attentive waiters provide us with delicacies, the sky is blue, the sun is shining, and Pink Floyd plays relaxing music. Italy is beautiful, and Ostuni is special. We love it!
