23/08/2026: This is my second time dining here after two years. Unfortunately, the experience was overwhelmingly negative in several respects. Upon arrival, we waited 10 minutes for our table to be set, only to be seated and find the tables clean, unwiped, and unset. Over the next 10-15 minutes, the tables were set in instalments, but never fully set (we had to ask for napkins, glasses, and cutlery, which arrived even after the appetizers). The potatoes as an appetizer were decent, but unfortunately, several pieces were charred. It took 50 minutes between ordering and the main course, and then I found a plate missing the mortadella, which was arbitrarily replaced with cooked ham. I'm not complaining, and I ate it. I wouldn't have wanted it changed anyway, and perhaps even thrown away, but I would have appreciated having been informed of the missing ingredient. The flavor was adequate, but the base was a bit too salty and overall unbalanced. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed because the place itself is really nice and deserves more attentive service and not an interminable wait for everything.

18/08/2026: A different kind of dinner. The potatoes are very good. There's so much to choose from. It's hard to eat more than one portion because it's so much. Friendly service. The location (in the square) is very beautiful.

25/08/2026: We arrived in Mesagne by chance and found this place. We were greeted with kindness, courtesy, and quality. Excellent value for money, and their multi-flavored spritzes.

25/08/2026: I should start by saying I'm a local. Unfortunately, our experience was VERY NEGATIVE. I've read about people being satisfied with the quality of the food and service...I honestly wonder what they're used to eating. Two people, €40 total for the imaginary aperitif with 16 appetizers and a fried fish platter. Starting with the 16 tastings, two mini pasta dishes, one cold (orecchiette, mozzarella, and cherry tomatoes), the orecchiette were rubbery, and the mozzarella was bitter. We left it as it was in the bowl. The other pasta dish was overcooked, as if it had been taken out of the fridge and thrown in the microwave for less time than it should have been. I still wonder what kind of pasta it was and what it was topped with. We didn't eat it either because it was inedible. The only decent thing were the 3 meatballs in sauce. The rest were pre-packaged products taken out of the freezer and reheated so badly that they were stringy and tasteless, anonymous. The fried food (20 euros) consisted of 4 prawns and 15 pieces of cuttlefish, taken from the freezer and thrown into the fryer at a high temperature for a few minutes. The result was a beautiful fried food to look at but raw and rubbery inside. I ate it with difficulty so as not to appear too fussy. I love fish and fried seafood but this was truly awful and disgusting. The service: the girl who served us was kind and friendly, the owner was moving between the tables greeting people he knew or smoking outside regularly, he thought it best not to even show up at the cashier (after hearing about my criticisms). The cook also doubled as a waiter, popping in and out of the square every now and then to serve a dish and smoke a cigarette. Working in a kitchen requires cleanliness and hygiene... coming in and out of a kitchen on public streets doesn't. I don't know what standards others are accustomed to, but if the food sucks, the service and hygiene aren't there, that place will only be good for birthday parties, anniversaries, and the like for locals during the winter, and I think that's the only reason it's still a business after 6 years. Definitely never again.

06/07/2026: Gorgeous garden. Elegant rooms, very classic, a bit retro. Decent food, more than good service. Friendly and helpful staff.

30/05/2026: A beautiful venue, the food was excellent. I recommend it to newlyweds. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
