04/05/2026: This restaurant in Trani's historic center was recommended to us by the host of our B&B. It's located just steps from the Cathedral in a quiet little square and a stone's throw from the seafront, a great spot to stop right after dinner. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, the service impeccable; everyone was helpful right from the start, and the price was in line with the quality of the food and drinks. The mixed antipasto was highly recommended. We'll definitely return as soon as we return to Trani.

26/04/2026: We recently moved to Trani from the US, and navigating the language barrier can be tough—especially on a busy holiday like Liberation Day. Despite every table being packed, the staff at Cottura Media was incredibly accommodating. While the outdoor seating was full, they managed to find us a spot inside without hesitation. In a city like NYC, service under this kind of pressure might come with an attitude, but not here. The staff worked together like a seamless team. The owner realized we didn’t speak Italian and personally made sure a waiter who spoke English came over to help us translate the menu and place our order. The meal was fantastic. We started with the trio of fish tartare and the Calabrese, followed by a perfectly prepared seafood pasta and a filet of bream. Paired with a bottle of Prosecco, it was the perfect afternoon. I have so much respect for how hard this team works. We truly appreciated the warm welcome and the delicious food. We will definitely be back. I am sure I will be giving all 5 stars next time!

06/05/2026: I went at the end of April for a dinner with my boyfriend. My boyfriend ordered a beer and a glass was also delivered... he started pouring the beer into the large glass, and then I noticed the rim of the glass had lipstick on it! We pointed this out, and the waitress, without even apologizing (as if it were normal), decided to get another glass and pour the beer there so as not to waste it. But they should have offered another, since we don't like other people's germs! So, how can you do that? We then paid for everything and without a fuss, we left at the end of the meal. But it wasn't just a simple oversight, it was a serious lack of cleanliness, and it was also handled unprofessionally. I won't be returning.

28/06/2026: Babalù is a restaurant that offered me pleasant moments of relaxation, with seating on a terrace offering a privileged view of the Trani harbor. All the seafood dishes, from appetizers to first courses, from main courses to side dishes, were a true delight. The visual presentation was also meticulously crafted. The table service was always pleasant and punctual. Maurizio, the manager, founder, and owner, was a passionate, professional, and warm presence, welcoming me to Babalù for many lunches and dinners, with the care and attention of someone who understands the needs of his clientele perfectly. Five stars for Babalù and Maurizio because they best represent the heart of Trani's restaurant scene and the Apulian spirit.

27/06/2026: They don't deserve the rating. €19 for a spritz and a beer. €3 service charge, €2.50 for olives, and €1.50 for chips. How embarrassing.

12/07/2026: Great place, terrible service. The first course arrived after an hour and a quarter. From 9:00 PM to 11:50 PM, I asked for bread and it never arrived. I asked why, and they said they were rushing it. I wouldn't go back.

03/07/2026: I enter the bar to buy a beer with a €50 note. The owner, after having already opened the beer, refuses to give it to me because he thinks the €50 note is "odd." I ask him for an explanation and to compare it with another note, but nothing. Tactile lines, a watermark held up to the light, a hologram—absolutely nothing was missing. Obviously, this place doesn't even have a device to check banknotes, and with such presumption. I ask his colleagues to verify it, but almost without even looking or touching it, they agree with him. Result: after 10 minutes, I deposit it in the bank and clearly everything is in order. Considering the rudeness and distrust, I won't even need to try a bar with an owner/staff like that—ridiculous treatment.
