05/09/2025: I returned a year later, and I'm deeply saddened to leave this review. Unfortunately, the menu selection and the quality of the food presented don't do justice to the splendid location. Last year, they had high-quality cuisine with sophisticated dishes, while this year, the menu makes you feel like you're in a bar. I truly hope you'll take full advantage of this review and rethink your offerings, returning to a cuisine that truly deserves to be called such. I emphasize again that the location is truly worthy.

20/08/2025: The quality and atmosphere are top-notch. The service is also very good. I'm giving it 4 stars because some portions are expensive and very small (like the fries, which cost 6 euros, and were a maximum of 3 per person), while others are gigantic, like the burgers. It's a little difficult to know what you're getting, but when it arrives, it certainly doesn't leave anything to be desired.

11/04/2026: We usually come from Castellana Grotte specifically to eat at a pizzeria in Gioia del Colle that we love, but this time, since we didn't have a reservation and it was fully booked, we decided to try this restaurant that some friends had told us about. Overall, it was a pleasant discovery: the place is very cute and well-kept, and we were greeted by a truly kind and cheerful owner, which is always appreciated. The pizza wasn't bad, good, but not particularly memorable. The prices are slightly higher than average, with a cover charge of €3, including non-woven tablecloths. Ultimately, a good place, especially if you're in the area and don't have many other options, although for us, our favorite pizzeria is still unbeatable.

05/04/2026: On Saturday, April 4th, we ordered four takeout pizzas... What a disappointment!!! The pizzas were hard, without mozzarella, and tasteless! A Diavola pizza cost €8 and was inedible!!!

20/10/2025: In addition to being the most welcoming and elegant reception hall in the province, it's absolutely the most professional location in every way, including the incredibly professional and friendly staff. The Camardella brothers can guarantee the best possible service for any event. We celebrated an important event and were delighted, especially with the quality of the lunch!!! Highly recommended!!! 16/12/2025: The place is truly comfortable and welcoming, but the same can't be said for the staff: my friends and I waited over half an hour for someone to take our order, but no one came to serve us, so we decided to leave. I came alone another time and had the same problem again, and today the waitress asked my friends and me to leave our tables to let other customers sit: crazy! I think the main problem is that there's not enough staff, and those who are there don't seem very friendly. Otherwise, as already mentioned, the atmosphere is very nice, and the breakfast has always been quite good.

14/09/2025: Unfortunately, I only discovered this oasis of pleasure located on the Capitolo coast at the end of the summer... Most of the spots on the beach are shaded by tamarisk trees, which I discovered have many beneficial properties... the spots are spaced apart, equipped with very comfortable mattresses and great bathing facilities... we ate expertly cooked dishes at the restaurant, which could also be ordered and enjoyed under the umbrella... the sea? enchanting... we'll definitely be back next year. Thanks to the very kind girls who pampered us all day.

29/01/2026: Behind the city's main square, which acts as a curtain, enveloped in an Ozpetekian atmosphere, lies one of this area's finest restaurants. 'Povero' has a natural elegance, nothing affected, like sirtaki played in a garden at night. The cuisine is as perfect as cashmere on the skin, the flavors rounded and refined. The staff is professional, with a kindness that seemed to have dissipated over time. You can always find something in this restaurant. I think it's one of the most refined and beautiful places in this wonderful land. Angela, the owner, has created a rarefied atmosphere of delicacy and magic. It's an essential stop for anyone thinking of visiting this city!

25/10/2025: What can I say? Around 6:00 PM, after a nice stroll around the city, we approached with a friend and her daughter (6 years old, quiet and good-natured), thinking of having an aperitif. There were a few people outside, but there were also free tables. The waitress immediately blocked the way. We assumed she was showing us where to sit. But instead. My friend looked at me in surprise, "there's only water..." Did my friend understand correctly? No...impossible. We're in Puglia. A brief exchange with the waitress followed, cold and unpleasant: - 'Evening...it's supposed to be for an aperitif. But...My friend tells me there's only water? - Yes. - No soft drinks? Mocktails? - No. - Don't you have anything non-alcoholic? - No. Water. - Eh... Okay. Patience. Let's find another place. Have a good evening. - ... (Not even a greeting from him) Guys, if you don't want to serve families with children, it would be nice to point it out or at least hire him and say so. The same goes if you don't have anything non-alcoholic to offer (not just for children, but also for adults who don't drink alcohol, for example)... but a bar specializing in cocktails and aperitifs that doesn't even have a mocktail on the menu? I don't believe it. It must have been the biggest lie in the world. But you could tell by the waitress's response. It wasn't true, and our presence bothered her. Nothing else. Never mind... We had aperitifs elsewhere, and in the future I'll take my friends elsewhere. Where they offer alcohol, non-alcoholic drinks... and courtesy. Too bad, the place was charming. First time in years that I've had this experience in Alberobello and Puglia. Meh... 🤷🏼‍♀️
