28/12/2024: Bella location in ottima posizione panoramica con vista sul Mottarone e il Lago di Orta. Interno molto curato ed elegante, personale attento e cordiale ci si sente subito a proprio agio. Ottimo cibo e strepitoso carrello dei dolci e formaggi. Ovviamente tutta questa attenzione si paga un po' di più ma ne vale proprio la pena. Sicuramente torneremo.

21/11/2024: The best sandwiches in the area, from classic to vegetarian. They are all made with fresh local products and with excellent combinations. The owner Luca is nice and kind to me, he treats me very well and is available in case of requests.

19/10/2024: Congratulations to the Manager! Guy... nice, kind and polite! Location..very nice, colorful and particular! Even relaxing...eating an excellent sandwich with live music in the center of Stresa...listening to it from the particular balcony of this place! I'll tell you more.. you can eat a sandwich of any size you want.. And above all you are a stone's throw from the lake...and the pier...special!! Bravo!! Here are photos of the sandwiches.. they are not needed.. they are good.

16/02/2025: Excellent experience... Little choice on the menu but everything good... Very particular risottos. The only flaw is that you have to take a minimum type of risotto for two people and therefore you can't taste anything else... Excellent service... Kind and very professional... A place where you feel at ease... Customer care and very honest prices. We will definitely be back🤗

01/11/2024: Restaurant très mignon dans une petite rue au calme. Personnel tres gentil et très accueillant, parle français en plus de ça. Le service était super. La qualité de la nourriture très bonne vraiment du vitello tonato aux polpettes passant par les raviolis à la crème de parmesan. Je recommande 100%

23/11/2024: Sono stata in questo locale ieri per la prima volta per un pranzo di lavoro. Al telefono abbiamo da subito avuto l'impressione di un approccio non convenzionale. Il locale è contenuto, ma gradevole, ben curato nei dettagli e nella pulizia e con uno stile d'altri tempi che rende il tutto magicamente accogliente. I piatti sono preparati con accuratezza e l'accostamento di sapori e colori denota uno studio e una ricerca a priori che rasenta la perfezione. Il re indiscusso del locale è sicuramente il titolare. La sua personalità spontanea, il suo sorriso e la sua presenza costante, ma discreta accompagnano per tutto il tempo l'ospite senza trascurarlo nè soffocarlo.

30/12/2024: I'll tell you about the unpleasant experience my girlfriend had yesterday during lunch at the Antica Stallera. While he was enjoying a plate of gran fusilli, he suddenly felt something hard in his mouth: it was a NAIL WITH AN ANCHOR found in the food. He immediately notified the dining room staff, and the chef came to apologize, showing a courteous and understanding attitude. However, when she expressed her disappointment to the waitress, her attitude was unacceptable: she seemed to imply that she had put the nail on the plate herself, an unfair and deeply offensive accusation. At the end of the meal, we were offered the dish and a dessert, an appreciated gesture, but which did not erase the bitterness for what had happened and for the treatment received. I hope that the restaurant will work to improve the quality of control in the kitchen and better train staff on how to deal with delicate situations, to ensure a respectful and safe experience for customers.

24/12/2024: Estábamos en el mar frío muerto y realmente necesitábamos un buen almuerzo. La suerte estaba de nuestro lado. La Stallera fue una gran experiencia culinaria. Cada uno de nosotros pidió un plato diferente, desde Osso Bucco hasta calamares rellenos, carne Angus (tan cerca de un Chateau Brillant) y fusilli porcini. Todo acompañado de un vino sardo. Gracias a nuestros anfitriones por un servicio cálido y amable. Durante el verano, debe ser precioso sentarse debajo del árbol en el jardín. No falles bajo ninguna circunstancia.

02/02/2025: This restaurant is located in one of the splendid stone buildings of the ancient hamlet of the same name, entirely recovered from abandonment and made into a farmhouse, just above Domodossola at the end of a road in the woods. The restaurant is very elegant while maintaining a rustic soul and is dominated by a beautiful wood-burning fireplace. We started with a tasty selection of local cheeses accompanied by honey, caramelized onions and an artisanal red beer from Bognanco, to continue with a cut and a soft pork fillet with apple cream and excellent potatoes. The courtesy of the staff is commendable and, following my initial uncertainty about the flavor of the pork, which I am not used to cooking sous vide, immediately suggested gratinating it a little more. Despite our fullness, the desserts were also very good. Honest account considering the quality, beautiful environment: recommended!
