10/02/2026: A very intimate and refined restaurant, with delicious, sophisticated food. The decor and warm colors are also a real gem. I will definitely return.

09/12/2025: A very welcoming, refined, yet affordable restaurant. The cuisine is truly superb, with a constantly changing and unique menu. For lunch, it offers an appetizer and a first course, usually featuring fish and meat options. The dishes are meticulously prepared, elegant, and flavorful... the chef truly knows his stuff. It's located on the main road in Casale Corte Cerro (VB).

10/12/2025: We had a wonderful meal, an exceptional risotto. When you enter the restaurant, your first impression is "oh my, where have I ended up?" You go up and sit in a well-kept, slightly retro place with old-fashioned tavern-style tables. You sit down, and a very kind lady arrives, who, in my opinion, you wouldn't expect to be so professional yet so informal, and she explains everything to you. You order, and shortly after, just enough time for a little chat, the dish arrives. I'd say the portion is generous, requiring nothing more than dessert and coffee, but such a good one, I rarely have these memories. Well done.

08/02/2026: We had lunch today for the first time. I have to say everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the first course, the main course with side dish, and the dessert. The service was impeccable, too, with very friendly waiters. If you want to eat well and spend a fair amount, you can't miss Ristorante Del Vecchio Borgo.

23/01/2026: A warm and welcoming place, with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The menu offers a limited selection, but they're carefully crafted and beautifully presented. The cheese and dessert trolleys are amazing. Highly recommended.

10/01/2026: The food and drink were divine, with a special mention for the cheese trolleys: no exotic or imported products, just local cheeses from Biella, Valsesia, and Ossola, with an incredible variety of textures, flavors, and ages.

19/03/2026: Excellent dinner. Special mention for the braised onion with fondue, tartare, and stewed rabbit. The FIOCCA was exceptional and unforgettable. We'll definitely be back.

08/11/2025: During our vacation time, we went to this restaurant for a dinner with my wife and kids. The taste was really awesome. Especially their service is really great. We were curious about some dishes and she has explained about that too. We loved it ❤️

25/10/2025: I have visited this restaurant three times, and each visit has occurred only because other, more deserving establishments were closed, or because it was winter and most restaurants were not operating at all. Unfortunately, the cuisine here is rather monotonous and uninspired. The menu offers no more than six to ten dishes, and most of them are quite basic and ordinary. I would not consider this a place worth returning to — it is acceptable to try it once, but nothing more. The service is good, yet everything else would benefit from improvement. However, since we are in Italy, such improvements seem practically impossible by default. As a result, this restaurant will likely remain a tourist attraction forever — which is truly a pity.

27/02/2026: I stopped in Stresa for work and chose Stornello because I read they also have vegan options. Since it's not an exclusively vegan restaurant, my expectations weren't very high. But I was wrong... their vegan dishes are nothing short of spectacular!! Starters, main courses (even the seitan goulash), and dessert! I'll be back, even if I have to travel all the way from Verona.

20/10/2025: The owner and the entire staff were incredibly nice. The hotel's location is simply fantastic. With the slightly cooler temperatures, the room was very cold because the windows weren't airtight. Breakfast was good, but not great. Overall, I can recommend the hotel.

27/01/2026: At Al Solito Posto, you'll feel comfortable and enjoy excellent pizza made with a variety of high-quality flours. The staff is friendly and helpful.

20/01/2026: Restaurant-pizzeria in the hills above Verbania, in the San Martino area. This venue is ideal for events in general; it's beautiful inside and outside, and there's also a lovely green area. We opted for the good pizza, but I can't comment on the food. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. Parking was also very convenient. I highly recommend this place. 👍

09/10/2025: The waitress was very nice and friendly. The bar is certainly OK for drinks right by the lake. The food, however, is at least disgusting. The dishes served bear no resemblance to the pictures on the menu. Instead of tuna sauce for Vitello Tonnato, a thick smear of mayonnaise is served on the plate. Underneath, there's dried-out meat and on top, three mini cans of capers. The schnitzel tastes like cardboard; it's actually been cooked in a deep fryer and is anything but crispy. The breading is absolutely sticky and disgusting! The fries look appetizing, but taste like burnt oil that probably hasn't been changed in years. Only edible with a good amount of ketchup. So: better to go a few meters further for your meal if you want it to be edible!
