01/03/2025: Truly excellent restaurant. The cuisine is traditional, executed to perfection and with a lot of care. The cheese and dessert trolleys are extraordinary (you can choose multiple tastings!). Precise and friendly service. The price is in line with the quality of the experience. I recommend booking well in advance!

19/03/2025: We spent a week at the Hotel "Antica Stallera" and were absolutely thrilled. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous, both at reception and at the breakfast buffet. We particularly enjoyed our small terrace. The hotel itself is centrally located, just a stone's throw from the harbor promenade, yet offers a quiet place to relax. Day trips around the lake or to Milan, as well as the Sunday market on the promenade, are easily arranged. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

30/12/2024: I'll tell you about the unpleasant experience my girlfriend had yesterday during lunch at the Antica Stallera. While he was enjoying a plate of gran fusilli, he suddenly felt something hard in his mouth: it was a NAIL WITH AN ANCHOR found in the food. He immediately notified the dining room staff, and the chef came to apologize, showing a courteous and understanding attitude. However, when she expressed her disappointment to the waitress, her attitude was unacceptable: she seemed to imply that she had put the nail on the plate herself, an unfair and deeply offensive accusation. At the end of the meal, we were offered the dish and a dessert, an appreciated gesture, but which did not erase the bitterness for what had happened and for the treatment received. I hope that the restaurant will work to improve the quality of control in the kitchen and better train staff on how to deal with delicate situations, to ensure a respectful and safe experience for customers.

07/04/2025: ¡Qué velada maravillosa tuvimos en Lo Stornello! Estuvimos en Stresa por 5 noches y esta fue de lejos nuestra comida favorita de la semana. Emilio nuestro camarero era maravilloso y nos cuidó mucho durante toda la noche. El menú es maravilloso y delicioso. Soy vegana, y realmente aprecio que tuvieran una serie de opciones MUY creativas para que yo eligiera. Mi esposo, un carnívoro de pleno derecho, también encontró que los platos eran deliciosos y creativos. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante a cualquiera. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra noche allí.

We were lucky enough to get there after nine in the evening, and we are truly grateful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to have a delicious dinner at such a late hour. The service is beyond praise: attentive, friendly, but at the same time completely unobtrusive. Special thanks to Signor Dominico for his recommendations - they were impeccable. The beef was tender, juicy and perfectly cooked. The pasta puttanesca was a real symphony of flavors: rich, spicy, with a bright character. And the semifreddo... it was a dessert delight, light, refined, on par with the best gastronomic impressions. It was a truly exceptional dinner and an amazing experience that we will definitely want to return to. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and see you soon!

Exquisite cuisine: we really enjoyed Mamma Rosso's meatballs and the meat fillet, cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back, it's a really nice place. 01/11/2024: Restaurant très mignon dans une petite rue au calme. Personnel tres gentil et très accueillant, parle français en plus de ça. Le service était super. La qualité de la nourriture très bonne vraiment du vitello tonato aux polpettes passant par les raviolis à la crème de parmesan. Je recommande 100%

06/04/2025: The place is quite complicated to reach. Wonderful view, waiting time between appetizer and first courses (3 tagliatelle, 2 ravioli al plin and 2 tagliate) really exaggerated. 1 hour and a half and I'm not joking. We sat down at 13.10, ordered at 13.30, got up from the table at 15.45! Too bad, if it hadn't been for the service .......

06/04/2025: Menù interessante e ben preparato. Abbiamo mangiato antipasti e primi. Purtroppo ci siamo seduti alle 12.30 e il primo piatto, dopo l'antipasto, è arrivato alle 14.10!
