20/06/2025: It's OK. However, given the high prices and reviews, we expected more sophistication, etc. It wasn't anything extraordinary.

20/06/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant based on the positive reviews, and it was a revelation! The ambiance and service were fantastic! A small but extremely fine selection of dishes. The beef fillet with potato gratin was incredibly tender and delicious! The pasta or gnocchi in the first course were also a dream! We're going back here today on our last evening to enjoy this taste experience! Today with dessert (a chocolate cigar—what a wonderful idea for dessert).

07/07/2025: Serata tra amici, una ventina, il ristorante ha qualche tavolo occupato oltre al nostro. La proprietaria (credo) ci consiglia di prendere Max 3 risotti perché e’ più semplice per loro organizzarsi. Scegliamo i 3 risotti e …. Non uno se ne salvava! Veramente pessimi tutti e 3. Era una base di riso bianco troppo cotto con sopra ma totalmente slegato il lieve condimento. Il tutto insapore ed insipido! In uno c’era anche un capello! Onestamente le recensioni sono tutte ottime e quindi siamo stati molto delusi ed abbiamo pensato o a recensioni fasulle fatte da amici o che in cucina non ci fosse il cuoco e qualcuno avesse improvvisato (male!) per evitare di disdire le prenotazioni! Purtroppo devo valutare l’esperienza terribile!

03/07/2025: I was for dinner a few weeks ago, the restaurant is located above Lake Mergozzo, a truly beautiful place. There were two of us, a black risotto and a lake fish, all good... good value for money... it is better to book and go a little early because there is little parking... the staff is kind and friendly.

17/06/2025: An excellent beer house, just what you expect when entering this place... Very rustic atmosphere that reminds a bit of the past, very spartan service as well as the table setting....the food is of good quality, well cooked and the meat cooked..I had the very good ribs...super beer!

14/06/2025: I only put one star because unfortunately zero can't be put yet. They made us wait more than an hour making fun of us by telling us that there were other people before us (the table behind us had arrived half an hour after us and they had already brought the drinks and also brought the food). After several minutes we called the waiter again to order and we were always told the same thing, that is, that there were people before us, seeing us very impatient with the situation the waitress came back with an arrogant tone to take our orders telling us that there were two orders in the kitchen and that they would serve us immediately, we paid for the drinks and left. I strongly advise against this place because they are incompetent and don't know how to treat customers

Fresh ingredients, juicy products, a mixture of flavors that together create the quintessence of flavor, which I savored in a wonderful setting taken live from the movie King Kong. The owner is infectious with her person and what she loves. Thank you, it's definitely not the last time

10/06/2025: What a wonderful discovery. Away from Domodossola, this place is an invitation to relax. The service is impeccable and the products are very good. The dishes are excellent and the cuisine is very affordable. The wine selection is varied and of high quality.

19/06/2025: We got a table for two without a reservation on a Thursday evening (at 7 p.m.; the restaurant was full a little later). A very pleasant atmosphere, good service despite the busy times, and excellent food. Excellent, modern, upscale Mediterranean cuisine—we would happily eat there again next time we're in Stresa.

02/06/2025: This is clearly not a michelin table. For anyone used to french michelin table (I'm not talking about stars or anything) please don't be fulled. When a client is asking for a non alcoholic drink and the only thing you have to propose is sprits without proposing anything else when the client is not interested, this is not a michelin. The menu is made of paper sheets, decorated with oil drops 👌 this is not a michelin. The quality of the starters, well, there is no balance in the tastes, the salade is thrown in the plate the sauces are too acidic. For the plate, you don't put aluminium paper around a potato in a michelin table plate, nothing is neat, from the poor salad leaves that are lost in the plate, the stuffing is grossly cut, no balance in the tastes. This is really the level of an average braaserie you'll find in france, and that you'll forget about. Let's skip the dessert cause it is of the same level really. I was scared of another tourist trap, well I should have thought twice before going there.

02/06/2025: We ate here but slept in front. As for service and price they are excellent. In my opinion the only flaw is the breakfast. Very little choice and almost no desserts. Dinner instead is special: they bring various samples of first and second courses. Obviously an intolerant customer must warn in advance.
