06/03/2026: This place has become my go-to every time I pass through Novara! As far as I know, it's the only true specialty coffee bar in the city, and since they roast their own beans, they have a constant rotation. There's always something new to try. The service is simply excellent. I've tried both the espresso and the filter coffees, and the care they put into them makes all the difference. If you order a V60, they bring a tray with the extraction, a glass of water, and a small plate with a sample of the freshly ground coffee to your table, so you can smell the dry aromas before you even drink. A real treat that I appreciate so much! As for the prices, I find them very fair. An espresso with their house blend costs €1.50: I know that in neighboring towns you can still find coffee for €1.20, but I assure you that the small price difference is more than compensated by the huge improvement in quality in the cup. I often explore their specialty coffees: a double espresso costs €4-5, while a V60 costs €5-8. I even tried a Geisha V60 for €11.50. The place is cute and very quiet. A well-deserved five-star rating, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to drink real coffee!

08/02/2026: A classic, simple neighborhood bar without too many frills, very small with limited seating. Good cleanliness and friendly staff. We ordered an aperitif with a platter. The food was excellent, plentiful, and varied. Definitely worth considering if you're passing through or live nearby.

21/12/2025: The ice cream arrived with a very long hair inside it. I called the restaurant to report it, and they told me that since the order was placed through Deliveroo and I'm in Trecate, I had to refund it via the app because they couldn't do anything. I refunded it via the app, and of course the app only refunded me €4 instead of the €15. Little concern for customers and definitely poor hygiene.

04/10/2025: Cool ambiance with a nice atmosphere 🍷 However, the music was much too loud for comfortable conversation. The pasta tasted okay, but the portions were rather small. The young staff was friendly, but a bit hectic – plates were cleared away even though we were still eating. There's still room for improvement.

01/02/2026: The food quality was terrible!!!!!!!!!! I had strongly urged the annoyed cashier to ensure the grilled vegetables were well-cooked, but they were not only raw but also diced, when they're normally sliced ​​into rounds for piadinas or sandwiches. I think the chips were stale or fried in stale oil, as we immediately felt unwell after the little we ate. The restrooms are dilapidated, and everything is filthy, with no supervision whatsoever—a total lack of hygiene!

22/02/2026: There were 10 of us at Panacea Bistrot (3 couples, 2 with small children, and 2 friends). Different orders: 1 to 3 courses, €18 wine split between 5, 0.5L beers for €11 each, 0.5L water for €2 each, coffee and liqueurs for some. When asked for separate bills, the owner refused ("it's not practical," "you all ordered the same things"), ignoring the discrepancy in the orders. We split up to make things easier, and he finally accepted, reluctantly. My wife pointed out that the sorbets were €1 over the list price: a human error, which can happen. What was intolerable was the way the refund (a few euros) was handled, handing over €10 with a "Here, keep the change," a gesture accompanied by irritation: unjustifiable sarcasm and irritation. To her remark, "I feel like I'm being made fun of like this," she replies, "Oh no, why?", still with her trademark sarcasm. She leaves, visibly shaken. Only later, when they're already far away, does the friend who paid last mention the phrase: "Call her back and I'll give her another €10." The tarte tatin (€8) was disappointing: ready-made pastry from the supermarket and burnt caramel. Deca coffee was €3. The rest of the food was okay, the wait staff was friendly. We don't pretend to manage the restaurant or cook in someone else's kitchen, but we expect respect from paying customers. We won't be returning, so as not to upset the obviously delicate balance in managing the cash register.

16/11/2025: I came in with the intention of having breakfast. The place is small with two small tables, so if you want to linger, it might not be the ideal place. The quality of the products is excellent. I tried the savory pastries, and they deserve a well-deserved five-star rating. Unfortunately, coffee isn't prepared and served; you have to make it with a high-tech hotel-style machine. The only downside is the service. Fifteen minutes to be served is way too long. I want to offer some constructive criticism. The staff needs to smile. Long faces behind the counter cause customers to lose.

02/10/2025: Really nice atmosphere! You can order at your own pace and the service is quite fast! The people in the service are really polite and kind! And last but not least the food is amazing, I recommend the gyoza and the fried shrimps!! An overall really pleasing experience!!

04/03/2026: The restaurant that we had booked at was closed for some reason. But it was our lucky day. After taking a walk in the pedestrian zone of Novara, we came upon A'ma! It was fantastic! Our waiter was courteous, welcoming and smiling. The food was excellent. Just a great experience that we want to repeat.
