10/09/2025: A good place for any occasion, from a quick get-together with friends, a gelato or dessert for one person, to large group events, or anything else.
The artisanal gelato and pastries are definitely good, exceeding expectations. However, there isn't always a wide selection on days and at quieter times.
There's plenty of space, both inside and on the terrace to the north of the building, as is the large parking area.
The only downside is the prices, which are shocking. Everything is well above average, even compared to places in the center of Borgomanero and even Arona, not to mention the shop next door... 😵💫 bordering on illegal.

25/04/2026: They've always spoken well of it, I order a dessert and they bring it to me wrong, a misunderstanding that can happen, I point out this mistake and the kind waitress asks me what dessert I wanted, while I'm showing it to her at the counter the waiter who took the order comes and accuses me of having pointed to the freezer and told him I wanted that dessert in a presumptuous and arrogant tone, I no longer wanted the dessert because it's unacceptable for a waiter to answer me like that, then this dessert is brought back to the table again and I refuse it and from behind our table you can hear that very rude person who says "does he also throw tantrums?", first let's learn to work instead of taking it out on people!!!

01/05/2026: A place with a great view of the lake. Very friendly staff. We had an aperitif and the chef's tapas mix. It's a shame the food was freezing cold; serving it warm would have definitely made it better. The price is a bit high for the quality of the food.

06/04/2026: I recently visited Bar Americano in Borgomanero, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The staff was rude from the start. After placing my order, I was brought something completely different from what I had requested. When I politely tried to point this out, the response was cold and unprofessional.
Friendly service is the minimum you expect at a bar, but it was completely lacking here. The staff's attitude made the experience unpleasant and completely unenjoyable.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the service, because at this time, I cannot recommend this place.

From the outside, it's not obvious they sell ice cream, at least... it took me a while to figure that out.
Thumbs down for the price of water, which costs twice as much as diesel: 1.50 for half a liter for an essential item. I find it a bad way to make money. Unfortunately, it's not the only one downtown; there are some that sell it for 1 euro anyway.

17/02/2026: Not recommended, my experience with them, I placed an order in the evening, through Glovo around 9pm, they accepted the order, and did not deliver the food to us, writing that it was being prepared and making us wait until 10pm, and it appears that the restaurant is closed.

I'd like to report a very disappointing experience. I ordered fried pizza with Nutella and ricotta, but it was truly disgusting...it looked like they'd put a cat's dad in it! When I asked for clarification on what they'd sent me, they were extremely rude.
Furthermore, the pizzas arrived completely cold because the delivery driver got the address wrong twice.
I'm sorry to say this, but it was a terrible experience in every way.
