09/07/2025: The bar is well-located, renovated, and clean.
The desserts and coffee are also good.
It's a shame the street is often frequented by gangs of foreign kids who skid their wheels on scooters and do wheelies, putting customers at risk as they leave.
02/06/2025: Historic bar in P.zza Varsavia, Loreto district, excellent red beer served in a Holy Grail style glass...for beer lovers almost touching! Kind and helpful staff. Excellent prices.

07/06/2025: Really bad experience, since they renovated it has become impossible to eat, we booked a table for 1pm and when we got there a lot of people who hadn't booked passed in front of us, then the waiters came and told us to wait until 1:30pm, we went back and waited until 2:40pm standing without eating. 1 saddle just for the place and the food.
22/04/2025: Excellent food and excellent quality but when they manage to serve you, I do not recommend weekend evenings, too much time passes between one course and another

07/06/2025: Siamo entrati per fare un aperitivo alle ore 18:45. La signorina ci ha subito accolto dicendoci che avrebbero chiuso a breve. Ordiniamo quindi 3 crodini. Prezzo finale di 12€. Senza una patatina, una pizzetta. Niente! Vergogna! Mai più.
P.s: ogni sabato e domenica veniamo a fare colazione.

09/09/2025: My favorite pastry shop in Novara. Every time I stopped by, it was a guarantee: the freshest pastries, croissants, and brioches were always freshly baked. The Venetian pastry with cooked cream remains unbeatable for me; the cream was simply fantastic.
Since the end of July, however, I've only seen a "closed due to illness" sign and no indication of holidays or reopening. It's already September, and I'm truly sad to think it might have closed: it would be a huge loss for the city. I'm crossing my fingers and sincerely hoping it will soon return to sweeten our days.

26/09/2025: I've been coming here to eat for a few years now, because I've known the owners for a while, especially Ilaria.
I've always had a good experience here. The staff is very attentive to everything. A guy named Dany, whom I already knew, recently joined the team. He's very kind and attentive!
Every time I'm downtown, I come here to eat.
14/09/2025: A pizzeria restaurant in the center of Novara. The food is pretty good, but the only downside is the service...the wait is enormous, understandable for some dishes, much less so for others. But most importantly, after ordering, we were without water/drinks for over an hour. This is a major flaw.
Possible improvement.

04/09/2025: We've ordered takeout pizzas from them several times, often with the wrong ingredients (e.g., cooked ham instead of raw ham), but we ignored them and gave them other options. The last time, however, the pizzas arrived after several calls, an hour late, with the excuse that delivery drivers were late. As I said on the phone, for your own sake and that of your customers, don't accept too many orders, especially on weekends, if you get confused. I say this with the knowledge of someone who has worked in the industry. Also, considering that you take orders from various platforms, and certainly also by phone, it's normal for these things to happen.
We won't order from you again, but I advise you to organize yourselves better.
01/09/2025: If I could give zero stars, unfortunately I would. Ordered takeout (arrived half an hour late), undercooked pizza, inedible sandwich... a whole jar of mayonnaise must have fallen in by mistake! Not to mention the meat...
Unbelievable, it's 10 PM and with two small children I have to rearrange dinner!!
Wasted money, and the food too!
Sorry, but it was inedible!!

10/07/2025: Dopo la visita ad una mostra, ci siamo fermati da 049 per la cena.
Ambiente grande, ben arredato con un bel bancone (in un’altra occasione abbiamo consumato un buon caffè), piuttosto rumoroso ma non sgradevole.
Personale veloce e professionale.
Abbiamo scelto: Insalata 049 (insalata mista, pomodorini, Olive nere, carote, patate al vapore, toma, uovo sodo, salsa di senape); Hamburger 09 (200 gr. Di carne, salsa barbecue, bacon, cipolla caramellata, lattuga e patate fritte).
Accompagnati da una bottiglia di bollicine.
Siamo stati soddisfatti sia del cibo che del servizio.

08/04/2025: Dopo una visita alle mostre, sempre piavevolissime e ben gestite al Castello di Novara, è comodo fermarsi
nel dehor di questo locale.
Bella la vista sulla piazza e sulle mura del castello mentre osserviamo il passeggio e il via vai dei clienti sotto un caldo sole primaverile. Comode le sedute, solidi e adeguati i tavolini in metallo.
Il servizio è discretamente veloce, compatibilmente con l'affollamento che nelle ore canoniche non manca. Il dubbio è fra un aperitivo con qualche sfiziosita' o un più classico menu ( panini, piadine, toast, insalatone e qualche altro piatto).
Scegliamo una piadina con prosciutto crudo San Daniele, squaquerone e rucola (7 €) e un maxi toast (5 €). Da bere una tonica alla spina (4 €) e una mezza minerale (2 €).
La piadina è ben imbottita e decisamente buona, lo stesso vale per il toast. Il personale è gentile e attento.
Con il coperto (1,5 €), spendiamo in tutto 21 euro per una piacevole pausa ristoratrice.

From the outside it isn't obvious that they sell ice cream, at least... it took me some time to understand.
Thumbs down for the cost of water which costs twice as much as diesel: 1.50 half a liter for an essential good I find it a bad way to make money. Unfortunately it's not the only one in the centre, there are those who do it for 1 euro anyway
