22/08/2024: Stunning location with qualified staff who pay attention to everything to make you spend pleasant moments. I can't judge the rooms because I haven't been there, I think the rating can only be 5 stars, when I try I'll say!! Excellent food and service, the chef (Andrea) who comes by at the end of the dinner to consult with the guests to ensure that everything was to their liking is the icing on the cake, congratulations to all the staff. 01/11/2024: Nice place, very large, amazing service - very fast! Pizzas for all tastes, excellent list of white ones (my favorites). There are also fish and meat dishes. In summer, I assume it's a spectacle, with lots of outdoor spaces, tables and a swimming pool

25/07/2024: During a tour in the center we stop in front of the place, we take a look at the menu outside, we see that the place closes at 10pm and since it is 9.45pm we go in to order a sandwich. Upon our entry the waitress tells us that they no longer make sandwiches as they are closing...... but wasn't it at 10pm???? If a time is indicated it would be nice if it were respected......

07/12/2024: Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Warm location, varied menu and truly authentic flavors with truly exceptional variations. Personally, the snails are the top but everything else is no different. I highly recommend trying such taste and kindness

20/08/2024: Excellent Piedmont cuisine and a good regional and national wine selection. Very rich breakfast by Italian standards. Functional hotel rooms, everything very clean and well maintained. Very nice location on the mountain with the namesake chapel.

24/07/2024: Group lunch with excellent dishes, I particularly liked the starters, the agnolotti with plin on the napkin and the nettle gnocchi. I advise.

20/11/2024: We got married on Sunday 8 September, a difficult day meteorologically speaking, yet the Vecchio Castagno fulfilled all our wishes! Between the beauty of the location, the attention to every little detail, the attention, the kindness of the staff and the beautiful "plan B", the rain literally took a back seat. We entrusted ourselves to Maria Grazia and Roberta knowing, from the first moment we met them, that we would be in excellent hands, they were impeccable, kind, helpful, unique!! The lovely place and the excellent and plentiful food, excellent quality/price! What can I say, we would like to get married again to relive all this ❤️ Simply thank you for making our day unique and unforgettable, we really couldn't ask for more!

12/11/2024: Fairytale wedding November 2024 We chose the Vecchio Castagno as the location for our wedding. From the first day we went to visit the estate and subsequently in testing the menu we found kindness, professionalism and excellent quality of the food. The availability of Mrs. Mariagrazia and Roberta struck us and therefore we chose to have our wedding there. On the wedding day everything was perfect, all the staff provided an excellent service and all the guests complimented the quality of the food and the beauty of the place. I would recommend this wonderful estate surrounded by greenery with an enchanting view to anyone.

29/11/2024: L'ultima volta ,prima di ottobre 2024,ci aveva un pò delusi rispetto al passato(siamo vecchi clienti sempre soddiosfatti),tornati al 31 ottobre abbiamo constatato il ritorno al,,,passato.Qualità dei piatti ottima in giuste dosi;servizio gentile ed attento;prezzo molto onesto.Torneremo ancora

06/11/2024: We stopped for lunch on our way back from Turin on the recommendation of a friend. Beautiful, characteristic and very well looked after place. The waiter welcomed us and after a while he roughly told us the menu without staying there for too long to specify, so much so that we thought there was a fixed menu for lunch, but instead it's all à la carte. We order an appetizer (1 portion) to share, a first course for the child, two second courses, a dessert and two coffees. We drank half a liter of bulk wine and a bottle of water. While we eat we notice that dishes are brought to the next tables that were not even offered to us. The starter was poor and when we went to pay he made us pay for two. Pointing out that there was only one, he told us that the agnolotti counted as an appetizer. We were not given a receipt but a piece of paper, our mistake but having had a boring child we left without asking for too many explanations. The dishes were all excellent but we were a little sorry for how we were treated. Total price €75. I would have gladly eaten the steak with truffles but never mind. Furthermore, I don't find it very correct not to display the prices or in any case not to inform the customer. I would return for the quality of the dishes but not for the service.

12/10/2024: It's always a pleasure to return to this little pizzeria. The owner is beautiful, friendly but above all always smiling and present. The pizza is wonderfully good and thin. Top ingredients and if you love spicy food, the pizza chef knows how to please you. Extraordinary.

31/08/2024: Excellent starters, as well as the first and second courses. Excellent wine list (although the reds should be kept at a lower temperature...) It is also possible to choose fish dishes, at least that was the case on Friday evening

09/12/2024: Siamo tornati per la seconda volta per la sua cucina tradizionale piemontese con spunti moderni. Impiattamenti curati, buona scelta di vino al calice. Servizio attento e veloce, locale vivace e dinamico. Consigliamo i ravioli del plin, la guancia bollita e l'antipasto misto.

09/12/2024: Wonderful discovery... traditional dishes revisited in a more elegant way, excellent quality, correct portions and costs. The manager is a "nice, kind and polite character" capable of putting anyone at ease. The environment immerses you in an art gallery. Absolutely recommended

17/11/2024: Upon arrival the innkeeper welcomed us with warmth and friendliness, the place was truly unique, the food was up to par. If you pass through Canelli, stopping here is a must.

23/11/2024: Unity is strength. Arturo, assisted by his children, is a very fast and splendid machine for visible work. The quality of the ingredients is also exposed as are the prices, which are low. And precisely with this in mind, Arturo's wife offers home delivery for a small fee. The harmony of family work is a winning one.

02/12/2024: I would say extraordinary. It was a dinner in honor of the "bagna caôda" and there were quite a few of us, I think almost 100 people. The service, kindness, concreteness, speed, maximum attention to everyone's needs, smile, immediate availability, care and attention were exemplary. Excellent food, very good bagna caôda, with and without garlic, the plin in broth, the cheeses and finally the dessert, the "Charlotte Creole" gave the finishing touch to this splendid dinner. I will return without any doubt. Compliments
