20/01/2025: We came 2 times in 1 day!! But the first time we tried the sandwiches and they were really delicious and the second time for the aperitif which was also top and plentiful. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors well balanced. Special thanks to Laura, the waitress, for her kindness and professionalism. An experience I highly recommend!

15/02/2025: We spent Valentine's Day dinner in the restaurant, a beautiful place with polite and helpful staff. We tried their famous Agnolotti del plin al napkin, exceptional! The starters are also excellent, with the possibility of tastings to try more than one. The same goes for desserts! I highly recommend, try it! We will definitely be back, congratulations

20/11/2024: We got married on Sunday 8 September, a difficult day meteorologically speaking, yet the Vecchio Castagno fulfilled all our wishes! Between the beauty of the location, the attention to every little detail, the attention, the kindness of the staff and the beautiful "plan B", the rain literally took a back seat. We entrusted ourselves to Maria Grazia and Roberta knowing, from the first moment we met them, that we would be in excellent hands, they were impeccable, kind, helpful, unique!! The lovely place and the excellent and plentiful food, excellent quality/price! What can I say, we would like to get married again to relive all this ❤️ Simply thank you for making our day unique and unforgettable, we really couldn't ask for more!

15/03/2025: Very beautiful structure, large, well-kept and very clean SPA. Nice rooms but less elegant and refined, beds and pillows not very comfortable. Overall, however, a very relaxing experience with kind and knowledgeable staff. Dinner at the restaurant was refined but with dishes that were a little out of date.

09/03/2025: We stayed in this facility to take advantage of the spa and lunch directly inside the facility itself with the possibility of having lunch directly in a bathrobe, everything was perfect, a comfortable environment, silence and relaxation. We will definitely be back as soon as possible and a big note of thanks to all the staff present!!!

28/02/2025: Super nice and friendly staff! The pizza is very good, the pan pizza is definitely worth trying. The farinata is also delicious. We usually get takeaway pizzas and they are always on time!!

22/02/2025: Well, I may have been unlucky, but I don't agree with all the positive reviews I read. The place is nice and clean but the positive notes end here, I didn't eat well, I don't feel like recommending it, I didn't like everything I chose, I hope it was a bad evening for the chef, the area is full of restaurants where in my opinion the food is much better. The tradition harks back to poor peasant cuisine, perhaps a little too poor... a choice that left me perplexed.

21/02/2025: Located in the town center with parking in front of the restaurant in the street, it is not always easy to park, overall good. The service was quick. The dishes were well prepared and tasty. For those who want it is possible, at least in autumn, to combine the dish with white truffles, which are weighed directly at the table by the owner. On the tables placemats, cutlery and simple. In summer there is an outdoor terrace, the view is the street. Overall good. 24/03/2025: Typical Piedmontese restaurant, at the top of Berzano San Pietro, a town near Castelnuovo Don Bosco and Albugnano. The appetizers and agnolotti were ok, the desserts were excellent (we tasted tiramisu and sacher), the house's barbera in bulk was ok. The service was fast and courteous, the restaurant was a little noisy.
