Stayed with friends, wonderful spa is the hotel's strong point, good breakfast, but given the quality of the property, I would add eggs, bacon, and pancakes included in the price and not at an additional cost. Very nice central building, rooms in the detached building are nice but could be improved.

I spent a wonderful day with my husband. It's a shame we couldn't stay due to an emergency. When we asked to have breakfast another day, Mr. Stefano immediately accepted our request, understanding the inconvenience, and confirmed that we could go another day. I read the previous reviews and I imagine that the lady who is so talked about is, in my opinion, more than understandable and does her job with great care, dedication, and attention. For me, everything was impeccable. Even the chef accommodated my off-menu request since I'm vegetarian and prepared some idyllic dishes for me. I've never found a spa like this in the Langhe. My compliments to all the staff.

Room Amenities: Comprehensive courtesy set (bathrobes, slippers, included minibar) and good quality linens.
Dining: Formal and attentive table service; silverware provided.
Issues Encountered
Room Assignment: The practice of providing an unsolicited "upgrade" to the main villa proved to be a downgrade. The attic room (No. 5) has severe habitability limits: insufficient ceiling height for individuals over 170 cm, no windows (skylights only), cramped maneuvering space, and an inefficient climate control system (fixed at 25°C).
SPA Services: The Turkish bath has been out of order for weeks without prior notice during the booking phase. Failure to enforce "silent areas" due to the presence of small children, with no intervention from the staff.
Staff and Reception: Communication difficulties with some staff members and an unempathetic approach to handling complaints. Responses received during check-out prioritized internal logistics over guest comfort.
Dining and Breakfast: Technical execution at "L'Officina" could be improved; the quality of the breakfast was not up to 5-star standards and was managed externally to the main restaurant.
Logistics: Uncovered, unsupervised parking located approximately 200 meters from the property.
Conclusions
The property appears to be adopting cost-saving policies regarding operations and staffing that compromise its reputation. The current offering feels closer to a 4-star level; we recommend either a downsizing of commercial promises or a serious investment to bridge the highlighted gaps.

I stayed at this wonderful property for the first time with a group of friends for a day at the S.p.A. Everything was perfect, impeccably clean, and above all, the staff were qualified and professional.
