07/07/2024: We were guests of Cascina Smeralda this weekend. A truly fantastic experience! Welcoming, clean environment, very nice and spacious rooms. The food and above all the welcome were excellent. Very kind staff. We were truly pampered by Natasha, a special person who will always remain in my heart. We'll see you again soon. Highly recommended.

10/05/2024: Arrivati per cena alle ore 21.35, veniamo informati in maniera un po' sgarbata che la cucina chiudeva alle 22. Ci accompagnano al tavolo mettendoci fretta e dicendo che potevamo ordinare solamente 4 piatti in due... Il cuoco ha pure litigato con la moglie " penso per il nostro ordine", si sentivano le urla provenienti dalla cucina ... Finita la cena in modo sgarbato si avvicina la cameriera e chiede se avevamo finito, non chiedendo se volevamo un dolce. Andati via con fame....

14/08/2024: Siamo stati a Balme da amici che affittano un appartamento e ci hanno proposto di fare pranzo in questa trattoria situata nell'ultima parte abitata della strada che parte dal villaggio Albaron; è un posto un po' nascosto e se non lo si conosce, non ci si ferma se non camminando in quella direzione; abbiamo preso un tagliere misto di salumi e formaggi (due soli formaggi, avrei prteferito qualche formaggio in piu), comunque tutto buono; poi abbiamo preso la polenta con i formaggi veramente buona; secondo me come quantitativo era troppo abbondante, sarebbe stato meglio la metà; infine i dolci tutti ottimi; servizio rapido e personale gentile; consigliatissimo !

10/08/2024: We can't say anything about the food as we didn't eat anything here. But the service is super nice, even when our little one broke a glass. 😱 Someone was there immediately. And we continued to be treated kindly. As already mentioned, there are great snacks with the Aperol and the Aperol is served with extra ice and water. Really great. We would love to come back and are looking forward to it.

05/06/2024: Characteristic place, with sculptures on the walls depicting Chinese landscapes. It's a bit reminiscent of China (even though I've never been there). The waiters are attentive and diligent. Good food. I have been going there for several years and even though they have changed management the hospitality and the quality of the food has remained unchanged. I think it's the best in Alexandria. You can order takeaway and/or have it brought home. Good place.
