13/07/2025: A romantic dinner? Taverna Darsté in Torre Pellice (Via Arnaud 3) could be a great idea, as well as a get-together with gourmet friends who love seafood. Yes, because—oddly enough—Darsté has built its business and professional image on the freshest and most flavorful seafood, even though we're in the Pellice Valley. Our evening began with a couple of first courses from the menu (orecchiette with fresh octopus, clams, and broccoli rabe; and cavatelli with seafood ragù), cooked perfectly al dente and beautifully balanced in flavor between the various ingredients. A small misstep was the mixed fried calamari, shrimp, and anchovies—a bit too greasy, and the shrimp hadn't had their "intestinal vein" removed: I know, opinions differ, but we're in favor of a thorough cleanse...—which was promptly redeemed by a seared fresh tuna on a bed of mixed salad that earned a standing ovation for its freshness, flavor, and tenderness. The dinner was rounded out with an excellent bunet and the bubbles of a glass of Baffone (Poderi Cellario, 80% Moscato and 20% Favorita), bold, savory, and pleasantly rustic. We'll be visiting again, and soon.

26/08/2025: I'm sorry but the dinner was a disappointment, a great appreciation for the apologies given but you can't order an employee with 25 mussels of different breeds and not cleaned, and a first "Sicilian" pasta and a mussel shell comes out.... yes, the dish was remade but the sauce is the same as the emperor's and the seasoning is unmatched.... then in August the air conditioning must be heard and not the customers with the fan at the table..... shame about the ironic message on the picture at the cash register.... ..... how can I not agree with you and unfortunately.

09/09/2025: Excellent bar right across from the Palazzina di Stupinigi. Beautiful location and a wide selection at the bar. A stop here is definitely worth it.

20/10/2025: I really enjoyed my stay. The staff is friendly, kind, and always available, which makes the atmosphere welcoming from the moment you arrive. The coffee is good and well-prepared, perfect for a break during the day. I was also pleased to note how clean the place is, which really makes a difference these days. Recommended!

The food is certainly still good, but the prices have significantly increased, and the cakes are increasingly smaller—undoubtedly too small for the price. Furthermore, the selection has also significantly decreased. It's unthinkable for a cake shop to offer 2-3 cake choices. Furthermore, it's July, and although the menu includes ice cream and smoothies, we were told "it's too early for ice cream." The organization and quantity/price ratios need to be completely reassessed. Because the change, and not for the better, is clear since this situation. The quality is certainly still very good. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return under these general conditions. The renovated location outside is very pretty and charming.

11/07/2025: I frequented this restaurant for after-dinner cakes. Unfortunately, the quality and portions are a distant memory. The service overall was also disappointing. A plus is the location, which always meets expectations. I wouldn't recommend this place.

04/09/2025: At the beginning of August, we called the venue to reserve the venue for my daughter's 18th birthday party for a certain date in October. The venue was available and therefore bookable. Once we had a confirmed reservation, we went on September 3rd to finalize the menu, table layout, and price. Everything seemed settled, except... the next day, we received a call from the venue informing us that they had made a mistake, as the date they had confirmed in August, and after agreeing on the menu and price, was no longer available. I have an idea of ​​what happened, but I'll keep it to myself because it's just an idea. However, whoever manages the catering department certainly didn't make a good impression, much less demonstrate the professionalism expected these days.
