We celebrated our wedding at Castello Rosso. We stumbled upon it by chance, having crashed a wedding, and Fabrizio immediately won us over with his helpfulness and kindness, offering us a taste of the buffet that instantly convinced us. The location is stunning: the park, the castle, the towers, and the view from the garden over the Cuneo plain make everything magical. Add to this the staff, always super competent and helpful. Prices are in line with other wedding venues, but the service is far superior. Thank you so much.

Truly a beautiful location. Perhaps 4 stars is a bit too much, as the superior rooms were a bit dated in terms of furnishings and finishes. However, the price was more than fair for the overall level of service and the surrounding environment. I'd say I rate it more like a 3-star superior. I regret not trying the on-site restaurant because it's very well rated, but we were in the area touring and preferred not to linger in the hotel. A top-notch breakfast is included, with a wide selection of excellent cheeses, scrambled eggs with bacon made to order, and an excellent selection of desserts and hot drinks. Highly recommended.

We were guests at this property for Christmas lunch and weren't particularly satisfied for a number of reasons. The day was damp, cold, and rainy. We followed the signs, and they led us to a distant parking lot, a dirt road full of mud and puddles. After climbing a slippery wooden staircase (with a broken step) to exit the parking lot, we followed the road like other people to access the entrance to the property, circling the castle's outer walls on a road in terrible condition—dirt, rocks, mud, puddles, etc. When we reached the so-called entrance, it seemed like a secondary exit, as there was no reception area; instead, you had to follow a corridor with no doors or windows and no signs to access the elevator that leads to the first floor of the castle, where the rooms were located. Only by following the sound of voices did we figure out which way to go to the dining room. Once we arrived, it was warm and pleasant, and we stored our jackets and coats in the cloakroom before securing our reserved table. Given the large number of people who chose to dine there for Christmas, we sat at the tables on the outdoor terrace, which, despite being enclosed and heated, proved to be a cold place because the table was close to the glass outside, and my seat was right there. My back felt cold. The tables were too close to each other, and the passage between them was narrow, making it impossible to change seats or anything else. Although I looked for the positives in the table location—on a gray, dark day, it was in a bright spot compared to the tables inside the restaurant—I had to grab my coat and hold it over my shoulders to warm up. For a 4-star establishment, I expected to be a little better. The menu was more or less the one listed when we booked, but since we had a person with food allergies at our table, and despite the place card specially placed for him, they always brought the wrong dishes, and after each course they had to check the contents and then ask for them to be changed again. We could never all eat together because waiting for his dish would make ours get cold... It was a bit of an unpleasant situation, especially on a holiday when we made such a choice just to think we'd be okay. The staff was helpful and tried to accommodate us for various mix-ups, but I think something went wrong with the overall management of the day. Perhaps the staff was too few in number compared to the number of tables they were supposed to serve... I know this is a place where Christmas lunches have been organized for many years, and we expected more experience to best manage the event. I hope it was just an isolated incident, because it would be a shame for a place like this to lose value in service due to logistical flaws. The dishes served were good, the menu equally inviting, the buffet was full of desserts, and everything could have been perfect with a few small adjustments. In any case, we celebrated the occasion, putting aside the small negatives, and we hope to return and have better luck. Happy New Year everyone!

We stayed one night in a double room in the annex; everything was very quiet and clean. The castle is well-kept, and I recommend it for a relaxing getaway, being just an hour's drive away for those living in Turin. We'll definitely be back!
