27/03/2026: Pleasant place, an old farmhouse with cross arches and columns, all well restored. A classic, understated setting but pleasant for my tastes, with very relaxing furnishings and light colors. The service was friendly but not entirely professional: to start, they brought us the seafood appetizer without asking if we'd like a little lemon, and once they realized it was missing, they had to communicate with three waiters who almost walked right past us, and we didn't know how to make ourselves noticed. After more than 10 minutes of signaling, we succeeded. Not a good start! The seafood appetizer was abundant but poorly presented, a jumble of ingredients and almost tasteless (it seemed like it was taken from a frozen supermarket bag). Another appetizer was a breaded octopus with sesame seeds, if I remember correctly. It was also very generous in quantity, but the serving size was nonexistent. Taste? Rubbery and not very tasty. Let's move on to the first risotto (if you can call it that) with olives and anchovies, an unusual combination that I wanted to try, only to regret it later: a generous portion but overcooked, very watery, mashed, and thrown there like a shovel... the anchovies seemed like those from the discount store bottles, not even mixing with the rice, thrown on top in a little pile... my girlfriend had a second course also of fish, a turbot that was the same as the other dishes so I won't repeat myself that part of it wasn't completely eaten... a dessert that if I remember correctly was a panna cotta or something of the sort that was nothing special (I didn't taste it but the people I was with weren't enthusiastic, in fact they left almost half of it) still white wine by the glass was excellent, as was the coffee, not bad. The bill was too high considering the quality of the food. After we got up to pay, they asked us if we'd like a bitter or digestif (I appreciate the gesture, but it's better to offer it while the customer is still seated, not at the cash register). The owner is friendly, as is all the staff, but that's not enough.

16/03/2026: I discovered this really cute Asian place here in Brescia, and it's now become my favorite! 🌟 One night I tried the beef ramen with broth: simply delicious. The broth was rich in flavor, warm, and enveloping, one of those dishes that makes you want to come back for more. The owner, Sara, and her daughter Arianna are truly kind: welcoming, helpful, and always smiling. They make you feel at ease right away, as if you were a regular customer, even the first time. Another thing I really appreciated is the speed of service: when you order, you practically have no waiting. The dishes arrive quickly, but always carefully prepared and meticulously prepared. The menu is very extensive and full of interesting options, so much so that choosing is almost impossible because you'd want to try everything! The location is really nice. Personally, I prefer the inside to the outside: it's more welcoming and has a very pleasant atmosphere. I also really liked the music: a slightly R&B style that you wouldn't normally expect in a place like this, but which I think gives it a unique and different touch. In short: my favorite Asian place here in Brescia. Highly recommended!! 🍜✨

14/03/2026: The place is truly beautiful: the refined setting and atmosphere instantly transport you outside of Brescia. There's also outdoor seating, and in cooler months, there are heating "mushrooms" that make the outdoor space very pleasant. When I don't know what to eat, this place is always my go-to. The menu is truly extensive and can satisfy every craving: from flavorful ramen to spectacular noodles, as well as countless appetizers and delicious snacks. And then the poke, which in my opinion is highly underrated but among the best in the city: they offer both pre-made versions and the option to create a completely customized one. The ingredients are immediately apparent as fresh and high-quality; even the waiting time is just right for a meticulously prepared dish. You can clearly see the effort that goes into creating each dish. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful: if you have any questions or concerns about the menu, they'll be happy to advise and guide you in making the best choice. It's one of those places that truly touch your heart and where you always feel welcomed, almost like at home.

08/03/2026: As soon as I noticed this gelateria while strolling through Desenzano, I immediately knew where I'd be having my Sunday snack. I was already familiar with the brand, having tried their gelateria in Brescia, which I consider one of the best discoveries of recent years, so I was already expecting high expectations. Fortunately, I wasn't disappointed here either. Even with a simple choice like a two-flavor cone, the result is excellent. A small detail that makes all the difference is the option to add a spreadable cream inside the cone: I've tried both the white chocolate and gianduja versions, and both are spectacular. The gelato is creamy, well-balanced, and decidedly satisfying; so much so that it makes me want to return to Desenzano just to try other flavors, just as I would happily return to the Brescia location. Plus, the staff was extremely kind and very quick with their service, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

07/03/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience at this gelato shop. I had asked for a three-flavor cup, clearly specifying whether it was possible to have half a scoop of gianduja and a scoop and a half of fiordilatte, so that I would still have three flavors but with different proportions. The two sales assistants, besides being unhelpful, were also quite rude in their responses, with an annoyed and unprofessional attitude. After several confusing and unkind responses, they finally accepted my request, but the result was anything but fair. The cup they made me actually had half scoops of each flavor, so the total amount was basically that of a single scoop, certainly not a three-flavor cup. I paid €4 for the whole thing, which is decidedly excessive for that quantity. I hate to leave a negative review, but between the rudeness of the staff and the portions being inappropriate for the price paid, the experience was truly unpleasant.

08/03/2026: Very good water ice cream. I tried red mulberry and dark chocolate, very good, not excessively sweet and at a fair price. A cup with two flavours costs €2.50.

01/03/2026: A really nice gelateria with plenty of space inside for a quick stop. There are no tables, just a single counter and stools, enough for a quick stop. The gelato is truly excellent quality and the price is very reasonable compared to many other gelaterias. The portions are also quite good. We'll definitely stop by again when we're in the area.

06/04/2026: Business lunch for €15, Michelin-starred food with authentic ingredients (black truffle risotto with delicious real truffle). All this topped off with an authentic Indian atmosphere, with the ever-present smiles. Kudos to the staff and those who organized it. PS: Even though we arrived at closing time, we ate slowly and with a homely atmosphere.

25/03/2026: The food is quite good, but the prices are too high, the tasting menu has gone from €30 to €48, and the quantity of food is not enough for the price you pay.

01/04/2026: I went to this restaurant a week ago and had three dishes, including frogs and snails. It was like a trip down memory lane; it felt like I was eating the ones my grandfather used to make when I was little. Excellent value. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back.

01/04/2026: The visit to this Italian restaurant (with Michelin ambitions) on the stunning Lake Garda was, by far, the worst service I have ever experienced as a seasoned Michelin restaurant guest. The level of service was absolutely — and I truly mean absolutely — below any acceptable standard (in fact, the service was practically non-existent) and completely unworthy of the Michelin ambitions this restaurant claims to have. It already started with an Italian waiter who did not speak a single word — literally not a single word — of English or French. Even the most basic fundamentals of hospitality, such as offering an aperitif, were completely unknown to him. As for the wine, we were not even given the menu (tablet) in hand; instead, the vague interaction was limited to a single question asking whether we wanted a magnum bottle… Then, in Italian, he asked if we wanted 1.2 kg of meat — without us ever having seen a menu. For the guests at the table who ordered soft drinks, these had to be fetched from the hotel next door…!!! Two hours later, part of the table still had not received any food. To top it all off, coffee and tea were included on the bill but were never served. When we addressed this with another waiter (who spoke excellent English), he briefly took over the service, only to hand us back to the Italian-speaking amateur shortly afterward. In our view, a major mistake was that this English-speaking waiter did not handle the service entirely, but instead handed it back to his incompetent colleague — despite the fact that we had clearly indicated we were not satisfied with him. To end on a positive note… the food was very good.

A welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. The small number of tables is a testament to the attention to detail and customer service. The food was delicious; we tried the trio of first courses, with sophisticated, original, and well-balanced combinations. The real highlight was the dessert that truly impressed us: exceptional tiramisu and semifreddo. We highly recommend stopping by; you won't regret it; we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Let me explain: since both are the same price, I think the arancini are undervalued, especially due to the use of ingredients that seem high-quality to me. I also thought it was due to the rising time, the good flour, and the good tomatoes, but I don't think that's the reason. I'm really curious, in fact, I keep coming back! 😊
