The smoked rack with sauerkraut is not recommended; it's too dry and the meat lacks flavor.
I also didn't like the berry tart with cream; there was a lot of gelatin on top that didn't add any texture or flavor.
The staff, however, was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming.
I've attached an updated menu (February 2026).

Ivan welcomed us with enthusiasm, kindness, and professionalism. A true host, his engaging personality accompanied us throughout our delicious dinner.
17/02/2026: We tried this place on Valentine's Day. We were two couples. We sat down (with a reservation) in this truly welcoming, all-wood restaurant. The waiters and food were excellent, no doubt about it. If you want to try typical dishes and local wines, you've come to the right place!

26/07/2025: Dopo aver camminato per circa 5 km siamo arrivati al rifugio…posto bellissimo immerso nella natura…ci sono i piatti giusti per un rifugio dove la posizione non facilita le consegne. Zuppa ottima e dolci strepitosi.
Il cartello all’entrata del rifugio riguardante il Wi-Fi è perfetto : non connetterti con Wi-Fi ma connettiti con la natura!
22/06/2025: Sono stata in questo rifugio con mio marito, purtroppo non ho avuto una piacevole esperienza. Servizio scarso, la signora era da sola intenta a servire tutti gli ospiti arrivati ai tavoli esterni dopo un trekking impegnativo, non è stata cordiale e ci ha proposto dei piatti-pochi-che abbiamo dovuto scegliere a scatola chiusa poiché non era presente nemmeno un menù basico per vedere scelte e prezzi.
Io ho ordinato una zuppa d'orzo e verdure che era una brodaglia vergognosa con due cucchiai scarsi di orzo, ma come si fa? Pagata poi ben 8 euro. Incommentabile anche il resto delle cose, infine al momento del pagamento il pos non funzionava e ho dovuto pagare in contanti, e se non li avessi avuti? Nessuno è stato avvisato di questo disservizio. Mi dispiace molto lasciare una recensione negativa perché il posto è veramente bello, consiglio cambio gestione o supporto per sistemare ciò che penalizza il luogo.

24/02/2025: Excelente ubicación, justo en la parte inferior de la zona de pendiente principal. Guardaesquís afuera. Cálido por dentro (se ocupa alrededor de la hora del almuerzo). Buen menú, la comida llega rápido (las patatas fritas son geniales! ). La pizza es más estilo pan focaccia. Comida caliente cerveza fría / vino. Lo recomendaría.
