21/06/2026: Spaghetti A.O.P. The best first course I've ever tasted, I can't wait to return to savor this perfect combination! Beautiful, well-kept restaurant, a strong concept with a clear message: refined and passionate cuisine. I found the "Uno Spillo in Laguna" dish a bit of a letdown, concluding the experience with no burst of flavor and simply no salt. The rigatoni concept is interesting, although the flavor is very strong. The discussion on the choice of using real wild salmon was stimulating, a very timely comparison, balancing quality and experience. The bread selection could be varied, perhaps accompanied with butter or local oil.

05/06/2026: It was truly a pleasure, delicious cured meats, revisited tagliolini with cacio pepe, and tagliolini with shrimp, very, very good…
The kitchen is open to the dining room, which, when possible, is always a sign of quality.
Courtesy and hospitality, even though we arrived a little late.

07/06/2026: Pub, beer garden with food. Huge selection of bottled and draft beers. Excellent dishes, perfect accompaniments. Good selection of spirits. Fantastic location and friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of parking available in the area.
12/04/2026: Something a bit difficult to find in Italy is a good hamburger with tasty meat and this place is one of those where you really get good tasty meat in your's. While the burgers are a bit barebones (I wish more of them had some vegetables and maybe some dressing or salsa) they always have great ingredients. My favorite is 806 which is meat, cheese and bacon. The appetizers are great. They have a very interesting selection of beers. Excellent service and great music. The best thing about the music I usually find here is that I know the songs but they are usually covers in a different genre, today was blues.

Dal Dosso Salamensa

23/05/2026: I went to this place last night, and unfortunately, the experience was decidedly negative, especially due to the complete lack of transparency towards customers.
I ordered a plate of gnocco fritto, which was listed on the menu at €7.50. When ordering, the staff asked me if I wanted to add cured meats (a classic combination, so I gladly accepted). The problem? They were careful not to specify that this addition wasn't a small extra, but a true "charcuterie tasting" that cost a whopping €18.
To add insult to injury, the cured meats on the plate were few and, in my opinion, of low quality. Finding such a surcharge on the receipt without being informed is unfair.
Spending more than €35 for gnocco fritto with cured meats and a spritz is absolutely unacceptable.
If you're looking for a place with honest service and a fair price, I recommend looking elsewhere. I won't be returning.
19/05/2026: I tried the brunch option and I have to say that Salamensa offers good value. The highlights are definitely the delicacies from the pastries on display and the gluten- and lactose-free options for those, like me, with intolerances... sometimes just a few good options are enough. I would return to try the cuisine (lunch/dinner) because I've always enjoyed Dal Dosso's restaurants.

Ristorante Pizzeria O' Scugnizzo

27/07/2026: We almost always book here for special occasions, and the service is always excellent. Despite the large number of us, the service is very fast and the food (especially the pizza) is delicious. The ingredients appear (and are) incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff is always friendly and kind. The desserts are equally delicious.
25/07/2026: If you're looking for a place where you can eat truly well, from appetizer to dessert, this is the place. It was busy that evening, a sign I'm not the only one who thinks so, but the service remained impeccable.
I started with the *scialatielli*: fresh pasta, just the right thickness, with a sauce that envelops each strip. Flavorful, made just right, and generous portions. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chef.
Then we moved on to the desserts, and it was the coup de grace: *amazing*. I couldn't choose just one, all balanced, not cloying, and beautifully presented. The perfect ending to a dinner that lived up to all its promises.
Special praise to *Marco*: kind, attentive, present at the right time without being intrusive. He advised us, served us with a smile, and made the evening even more enjoyable.
The place is always crowded, but I understand why. Excellent value, warm atmosphere, and a genuine welcome.
I will definitely be back. For those who love to eat well without frills, this is an address to note down.

If Michelin is the most illustrious reference for restaurants, Gambero Rosso is for pastry shops.
Surely in first place there is always the skill, but believe me
There are places known more than others thanks also to the compromises that along their path, one is willing to "marry".
A few examples?
Using a water label compared to another...
A flour compared to another.
An oil compared to another.
Etc...
Sometimes it can make the difference.
If instead all this, together with the various social networks, the various advertisements, television programs are put in second place.... here's the fact that one becomes much much less known than Others....
Sometimes it happens, to be a little more curious and to go and read what the classic normality (the network) offers us...
An example?
Dolce Reale.
I avoid saying what it could be, it must be You, to go and discover it.
In the meantime, I ask you, go and read the Gambero Rosso Italian pastry shop ranking, you will find a huge surprise. "The Pastry Chef" that all the Italian people know has the same score as this small but very sweet pastry shop on the outskirts....

I dipendenti sono stati molto gentili il cibo ma soprattutto il gelato è molto buono.
