06/01/2026: If you're in Fumone, after a delicious lunch and a visit to the castle, you can't miss this little pastry shop. It's practically across the street from the castle, and if you miss it, you'll find it by following the delicious aromas emanating from this little shop. The lemon aromas blend with those of the various sweets you'll find inside. We tried the freshly baked lemon donuts, a true delight. We ate them on the spot and, of course, had some wrapped for us to take home. I must say, even reheated, they lose a bit of their "magic," but they're still very good. Definitely worth a try.

29/11/2025: During a visit to Fumone Castle, we had the opportunity to meet the owner of this fantastic pastry shop. The quality of their products is well-known and recognized... The secret to such deliciousness is probably making things with love. There's certainly love and ancient tradition behind every single product. It's impossible to pass through Fumone without stopping by Fantasia del Dolce.

08/03/2026: A charming inn located in the village of Castro dei Volsci. You can reach it by walking uphill through the houses in the historic center (a bit of a climb), but it's definitely worth it. A tasty menu with limited choices. I recommend the pasta and potatoes; it's delicious.

16/09/2025: The La Tenuta il Sogno restaurant is located in Piglio, on the Anticolana road, which leads from Fiuggi to the Fiuggi/Anagni highway. From the gated entrance, a long path leads through the beautiful garden, where you can admire a lovely pond and, further ahead, a beautiful setting. To access the restaurant, you pass through a lovely, cool, and shaded grove. The food is good and varied. The delicious appetizers are excellent. The only downside: I found the interior ceiling to be low, which makes it seem much smaller than it actually is. A little larger would make the space feel larger and more harmonious.

04/01/2026: A ca's restaurant aside. I was pleasantly surprised to return after a while, even though it's actually close to home and so often you miss the opportunity to go somewhere else, even when passing through. I went for dinner with friends; we varied between appetizers, first courses, and fish-based main courses, but there's also a meat menu if needed. The mixed cold and hot fish appetizers, the first courses were excellent. We tried two first courses: a tonnarello with broccoli rabe, anchovies, and more, with a wonderful sweet and sour combination, and a calamarata with baby octopus and olive sauce, top! The fish main courses are equally delicious; we were already full, but the excellent chef recommended it, and we chose a tuna steak with a blackberry sauce that we fought over, and a tempura cod that was crunchy but still a cloud in the mouth. The wines on the menu are also good, with a very attractive quality/price ratio. If you're unsure, ask for advice. Generally speaking, prices obviously vary depending on what you order, but you can spend anywhere from €35/40 to €60/70 if you indulge in the food and drinks. As an extra, try their homemade desserts, and if you're a grappa lover, they also have some truly unique grappas. The atmosphere is very intimate, refined, and limited. Overall, highly recommended! Carmelo and his incredibly friendly staff will guide you through a delightful food and wine experience, from course to joke. P.S. Not to mention, they're named Italy's best restaurant 2024/25 and awarded the Silver Fork. I recommend making a reservation!

21/12/2025: I was looking for a cozy spot for my anniversary, hoping to impress my wife with some unique cuisine. I absolutely hit the nail on the head by going to "A Ca Parte." We ate quality seafood, guided by the chef, and enjoyed every single course. It was an undoubtedly excellent dinner.

12/09/2025: The only place in Ciociaria that serves good paella, with reasonable prices and truly excellent ingredients. I recommend booking well in advance given the large crowds. Highly recommended.

The food is truly extraordinary: carefully presented and flavorful dishes, made with the freshest ingredients. The fish in particular is of the highest quality and cooked to perfection. Generous portions and a varied menu cater to every palate. The value for money is also excellent: you eat deliciously and leave completely satisfied. A restaurant that's definitely worth a try and one I recommend without hesitation. I'll definitely be back!
