14/12/2024: The seating is only outside. The place is on a nice street, so the view is ok. There is just one guy who makes the food, so we had to wait quite a while (around 40 minutes or more) to get our food (a group of 4 people). So this is not a “fast food” place. We ordered club sandwiches and chicken wraps; both had huge, thick tomato pieces in them. Overall they tasted good, but nothing special. The portions were really big, which was nice.

16/11/2024: It looks like a nice fast food place, the owner was cleaning it meticulously, when I was there. TIP: Fewer dishes to offer and more attention to fried foods, which are a good comfort food for most. Plus, I could propose to you 3 FRYING MIXES: MEAT MIX (a little chicken, onion rings, cheese, olives, American potatoes,...), MIXED FISH (a little cod, calamari, onion, cheese, olives, potatoes), e MIXED VEGETABLES (with cheese?) Maybe a little more work, but an interesting bag of different flavors comes out.. Display it as a special offer on the counter and with an appropriate price, success is guaranteed!

21/09/2024: ....magari foste anche a Milano..ci vorremmo tutte le settimane!! Posto molto conviviale e dal clima rilassato. Abbiamo bevuto dell'ottimo vino friulano ...è mangiato dei cicchetti superlativi e molto gustosi con un rapporto qualità prezzo davvero imbattibile..mai trovato prima! 04/11/2024: A discovery!! Among the many bars in Trieste, especially in the Cavana area and on the banks, this one struck me both for its location, the furnishings of the environment and the service. The furniture, although minimalist, with pre-industrial/modern elements, is set inside stone walls between rustic and modern, giving you a warm embrace as soon as you enter. A very perfect balance between the rustic stone of the walls of the restaurant, the modernity given by the counter, furniture, chairs and lampshades, without forgetting the "DRINKS". I promote the service with flying colors, with the Bartender knowing how to best advise you in choosing the drink as well as in making it, which is very "RARE" these days. I highly recommend it, especially to those who want something different than the usual places.

03/03/2025: The food was ok, for regular pizza it was average(3/5), but for gluten free there were a lot of options and it was really good compared to others(5/5), pasta was really good but the portion was kids size, overall a good place to eat and not so expensive.

02/03/2025: I came to eat a pizza. The pizza was quite good but I found the staff a bit rude, in particular I could hear and see, unfortunately, how some people (of the staff) were making fun of a (visibly novice) waiter. Of all the personnel, only two were saved. Another flaw are the toilets, unfortunately not very clean or broken.

02/03/2025: Ice cream has now become a luxury. 2 euros for a scoop and some flavors have even been invented which are special and have an increase of 50 cents per scoop. Out of mind. Dear trader, if you can afford to close for the winter I can only imagine that the place is owned and I won't say anything else... you could put the prices back on average so as to give the opportunity to have an ice cream to those who don't make it to the end of the month

09/03/2025: I ordered an ortolana pizza, a parmigiana and baked potatoes, I received a pizza with spinach with a bit of peppers, without tomato sauce and it also arrived cold and stuck to the cardboard then I received the parmigiana with the sauce which was acidic and finally instead of giving me the baked potatoes they gave me the meatballs in the sauce with 2 pieces of bread on the side which were heavy, cold and hard, not recommended, order from here if you want to make a terrible one figure

19/02/2025: I have been ordering pizza from you for about a year and I have always been calm despite the delays of an hour and a half/2 hours.. the pizza is very good, of course, nothing to complain about but in my opinion you have to work on deliveries because it is not possible to always wait so long and find yourself after all the waiting with one pizza instead of two ordered at 10.40 in the evening.. I understand all the work that goes into it, I also worked in a pizzeria but I ask for a little more respect towards the customer since I have always waited without ever giving bad reviews and I have called over and over again especially this evening

17/03/2025: Great restaurant👌 Unfortunately the owner wasn't that friendly, although I tried to speak a little in Italian. Was rather dismissive. But we really liked the place. The pastries were very tasty

12/03/2025: Esperienza alquanto negativa per chi come me ritornava dopo un pò di tempo nella propria città. Abbiamo ordinato 3 caffè, il cameriere un ragazzo molto scontroso ha preparato 2 caffè e poi senza cambiare miscela ne ha fatti ancora uno. Appena mi sono accorto dell'inganno l'ho fatto presente mostrando la tazzina e con tutta arroganza mi è stato risposto: "basta dir e fazo un altro!!!". Non basta dire? E' il minimo se ordini 3 caffè devono esser fatti allo stesso modo e non con il caffè riciclato. Esperienza alquanto sgradevole e negativa, poi mi sono ricordato che solo un paio di mesi prima lo stesso cameriere con brutti modi ci aveva serviti al piano superiore dove si trovano i tavoli. Ho pagato i 3 caffè lo stesso ma la presa in giro ci ha infastidito parecchio. Peccato, perchè l'Eppinger è sempre stato sinonimo di garanzia, ma mi rivolgo ai proprietari, fate attenzione al personale e all' educazione. Con tanta scelta di bar. ne sceglierò un altro che sia serio.

22/02/2025: Very good food, shame about the slightly long waiting times and the fact that it was really cold inside the restaurant. Recommended the new Oklahoma sandwich and the Malibu Shrimps Rice (hidden on the menu but delicious)
