05/08/2025: Bakery, pastry shop very popular with Trieste residents on weekends where you can taste typical Trieste pastry desserts famous for the Carsoli cream pastry. Excellent coffee and wide choice of bread.

01/08/2025: I recently moved to the Basovizza area. Yesterday I bought 6 very small whole wheat rolls, 1 seeded loaf, and 2 slices of pizza. I paid €24.40. The rolls were dry and hard, the pizza had a thick crust, very little filling, and was so salty that I tore it into tiny pieces and put it in the freezer. Never again, truly horrible and expensive. The rolls were tough and rubbery, and they also ended up in the freezer. I'll pair the frozen pizza with something because it's so salty, inedible. I'm attaching a photo.

22/07/2025: I dropped the scoop I'd just grabbed (I don't know how, since I tilted my hand slightly. Maybe it wasn't inserted properly into the cone? Or, for goodness sake, it can happen) onto the dirty dog's leash, and even though the ice cream lady saw that I was all dirty and covered in ice cream, she told me she'd give me a cup to "help me." What a help! I threw the ice cream away since they hadn't offered to make me another. I went back inside and paid for another scoop, this time in a cup. You certainly weren't going broke for two euros!

20/07/2025: Family gelato, and it's truly exceptional, just like the families of old. Whether you eat it in or take it out, it's a real treat! Seating is limited inside.

01/08/2025: We bought a sushi mix as take away and it was wonderful! The salmon especially. Sushi yko excels at the classic nigiri and hosomaki

12/08/2025: I'd like to express my appreciation for this place, where I came with a friend last night for an aperitivo after a long time (I used to come here many years ago, but only in the afternoon for a coffee break and had never been there in the evening). The atmosphere is spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning inside in the summer. The decor is interesting, with several 1960s-era items (for example, a black-and-white television caught our eye). The bartenders were friendly, and the wine was excellent. I particularly enjoyed a Cabernet Franc from Corno di Rosazzo, which the bartender there recommended to me last night. The prices are reasonable. I therefore think it's fair to give it 5 stars.

08/07/2025: We stopped for a casual after-dinner drink with some friends. We had cocktails and liqueurs. As soon as we sat down at the table outside, we noticed the rudeness of the blonde waitress. When we asked, "Can you bring us an extra chair?" (There were five of us at a table for four), she replied with a curt, "NO." So, we made do. But when it was time to leave, she attacked again with a friendly tone: "We have to close, you have to go pay." Not a smile, not even a hint of joking. The whole thing ended with a nice, "I won't split the bill, one person pays for everyone." So much rudeness concentrated in one place. If you like being treated rudely, this is the place for you!

11/06/2025: I'll start by saying that I've been ordering pizza from them for years and have always been happy with it, but this time I had a bad experience. The pizza arrived 45 minutes before I got home, so I had to heat it up to eat it, and the person who answered the phone blamed the poor Raider who, according to him, left early. Rudeness and terrible service. Goodbye

09/07/2025: I ordered takeout on a Wednesday for lunch. The pizza arrived intact and hot, and no mistakes were made. To the lady who ordered a bufalina pizza with olives and pistachio cream: I understand your complaint, because you paid for the pistachio cream, but you can't get mad. Honestly, pistachio cream with tomato sauce is disgusting, haha, what the heck! A pizzeria like this deserves praise simply because it respects itself and doesn't sell itself to the bizarre, disgusting tastes of people who don't understand pizza at all. So, beautiful lady, order your pizza from the kebab shop, because they'll definitely put pistachio cream on your bufalina pizza!

08/08/2025: Very good place for coffee or a quick/easy lunch. They served coffee, beer and drinks. Very good quality of service and overall a good experience. The only thing I could complain about is the toilets which were hard to lock and were located in an unusual place.

06/08/2025: €5 for a white spritz? A historic and excellent pastry shop in Trieste, with a long tradition and quality products. However, it's a shame to see how the influence of tourism has led to unaffordable prices for residents: €5 for a white spritz is truly excessive. With these prices, many Triestini will prefer to have an aperitivo elsewhere.

22/07/2025: Very nice. As a Sicilian, the prices shocked me a little, but as soon as the burger arrived, I was hooked. It's a giant sandwich.

08/07/2025: Burgers, fries, and chicken are delicious! The tacos not so much. The atmosphere and service were great though.
