26/08/2025: It wasn't good.. limited flavors np, but too sweet and flavorless.. Location is also bad, I suggest walking to it from parking on road above

It's been a long time since I've eaten this well! This restaurant is head and shoulders above Sushi Amabile!
I prefer ordering takeout. You have to wait a bit, but they prepare everything freshly, so you can taste the freshness of the food!
I recommend it 100%!

03/05/2026: Overall, the food was fine, though not every dish was equally tasty. 3 stars because a €2.50 service charge per person was automatically added to the bill. The service wasn't bad, but I never would have given that €10 tip myself. It wasn't worth it.
30/04/2026: Excellent restaurant on the Grand Canal. The food is excellent, the service is even better. Very friendly, helpful and just fast enough to give you a break between meals. I would be happy to come back.

05/05/2026: MUG is a place you absolutely must try if you come to Trieste. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food, both sweet and savory, is excellent in quality and variety. There are no other places like it in Trieste.

04/04/2026: We had our last evening in Trieste here, and what a perfect ending it was! Every single dish was prepared with great care and tasted absolutely amazing. The spaghetti carbonara was without a doubt the best we've ever eaten—simply perfect! We especially want to commend the service: so warm, attentive, and friendly, just as you could wish for. We felt completely at ease the entire time. The atmosphere is simply wonderful: cozy, authentic, and you just feel completely at ease!
Thank you so much for this unforgettable evening. We will definitely be back when we're in Trieste again <3

I assume the high rating is due to its proximity to the station.

03/05/2026: Hi, I'd like to recommend the Trattoria/Pizzeria "Alla Tappa" (very close to Muggia)! They serve traditional Neapolitan pizza, and Mauro's homemade dishes are simply unique. I especially recommend the porcini mushroom tagliatelle with grated truffle. We're regulars; on warm summer evenings, we enjoy the fresh air and eat outside. Great team and fair prices!

Rosticceria Eureka is one of those places that makes you feel right at home. Here you'll find authentic Italian home cooking, made with care and high-quality ingredients. The lasagna is simply out of this world:
rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The homemade gnocchi are also fantastic: soft, delicate, and bursting with flavor.
Besides the extraordinary food, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can really feel the passion they put into what they do.
If you're in Trieste and are looking for authentic, high-quality cuisine made with love, this place is absolutely not to be missed. Highly recommended!

06/01/2026: Wide selection, we had two chocolate and black cherry sweets and a carsolina and they were really delicious :) the place is a bit small so if it's busy you might find yourself having to eat at the counter, but personally I think it's worth it!
