05/03/2026: We ate here on two evenings and both times the food was excellent – the antipasti, pasta, fish, and desserts were all delicious – and the wines were very good too. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back :)

02/10/2025: Sicilians on vacation in Trieste, we have some excellent ice cream shops in Sicily. Being a pastry chef as well, I was fascinated by the layout, cleanliness, and order... The ice cream, of course, was amazing. 😋😋

I recently went for dinner with a group of friends and we loved it. The place is very welcoming, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want for a pleasant evening.
The menu is varied and can satisfy every desire: from appetizers to first courses and main courses, the selection is wide and well thought out. We were impressed by the quality of the dishes.
Furthermore, the care and attention of the staff was excellent: kind and always attentive, which made the experience perfect! Between chatting with the owner, we had a truly wonderful evening!
I'm not from Trieste, but I hope to return very soon.

14/01/2026: Every time we're in the Muggia area, we never miss the opportunity to stop by and say hello to the super-kind ladies and grab a fantastic pizza! We feel right at home. It's always a pleasure! Everyone is so kind. Excellent value! Everything is always top-notch!

We'd already tried restaurants and ended up here on this occasion, but it wasn't terrible, but there's nothing exciting or special or well-made enough to make you want to go back and try it again. The pizza was just not up to par, I'm sorry. You don't feel well-served, we must have been unlucky.

13/12/2025: This place is perfect for work, the atmosphere is cozy, the music not too loud, and the coffee really good. However, there’s this one waitress that is always kind of rude, doesn’t even look at you, walks away in the middle of your sentence, says no ‘good evening’ or ‘thank you’ and generally makes me feel like I should apologize for coming in and ordering a cup of coffee. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think waiters owe us special treatment, and they get to have a bad day too, but this woman is ALWAYS like this. The masochist in me keeps coming back waiting for some proof that she’s a human being. MUG, please talk to your staff and see why they’re so unhappy.

I had very good cod, and the burger wasn't bad either.
It's also open all hours, so stop by if you're short on time and want to spend little on good food.
30/12/2025: Terrible food... everything was too greasy. Over-fried. The cod meatballs definitely weren't cod, but the taste was terrible... I had a simple toasted sandwich served cold, with the cheese not even melted inside. At 3 tables, no one sat still. A full glass was knocked over. Service was practically nonexistent. The only customers were a very long wait for terrible food. Absolutely avoid.

It’s a rainy Monday and I need good tea... Best place to go for a nice cup of Rooibos tea is Ginger! Not only natural Rooibos but also with vanilla or orange. Quite unusual for Trieste! Brought to the table in a generous cup and a timer. What’s not to love? 🤗🥰🤗🥰☔️☔️☔️

14/10/2025: A great option if you're in Trieste and craving some Chinese cuisine. A lovely atmosphere, good service, and above all, very well-prepared and delicious food. The prices are also quite good and affordable. The menu is varied with excellent options of all kinds. Absolutely recommended 🤩
