MUG is a place you absolutely must try if you come to Trieste. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food, both sweet and savory, is excellent in quality and variety. There are no other places like it in Trieste.

The quality of all the products is top-notch, and the staff is super helpful! My wife has recently become lactose intolerant, and they offered us a ton of delicious options. Highly recommended!

The coffee and products are good, but the staff is among the rudest I've ever encountered. Every time I come, I find different waiters with the same rude attitude. Asking even a simple question seems almost annoying, and the way they speak to customers is truly unprofessional. It's a shame, because the place would be nice, but with this kind of service, I won't be returning.

15/05/2026: My favorite place in Trieste, the cupcakes are PHENOMENAL (creamy and soft, perfect combinations)
12/05/2026: There's no proper breakfast, but I was able to have some toast. It tasted very good and was made with olive bread. The prices are very reasonable. The pastries look delicious and are freshly made. I haven't tried them yet.
