04/11/2024: Crazy, I think it's the ice cream I've paid the most in my life, practically the most expensive in Italy Two cups with two balls each 8 and 80 euros We definitely won't be back!!

16/09/2024: Thanks to word of mouth I discovered your ice cream shop....I was pleasantly surprised by this unexpected discovery, there are no identical ice creams, particular flavors such as mulberry for example...all delicious! Furthermore, at a friend's birthday we ate a cake with a special dedication to the birthday girl but above all delicious! So I would say not only a superlative ice cream but also the pastries deserve to be tasted! Compliments!!!

16/12/2024: Had lunch on December 7th with 120 people. Excellent food and welcome. A special applause to the waitress Alessia who, despite the large number of customers, was always very kind, quick, available to requests and precise about everything.

22/10/2024: Locale compatto ma con tutto il necessario. Esso offre oltre alla classiche coppette e coni propone anche dei semifreddi allo yogurt. I gusti oltre a quelli classici hanno una bella varietà di proposte diverse e con frutta di stagione. Personalmente abbiamo trovato interessante il gelato alla zucca, e rinfrescante i gusti biscotto, kiwi insieme alla mela e il godurioso gianduia con wafer. Le porzione erano giuste da non storpiare al palato. Personale cordiale e gentile; quindi se si è in zona bisogna fare una capatina.

13/10/2024: La Gelateria Cavour, justo al lado del Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, sirve una enorme selección de excelentes helados caseros. Un brillante ejemplo del helado tradicional italiano. No me creas, pruébalo tú mismo. Enjoy. Una calificación recta de 5 puntos.

20/12/2024: Narrow place, with a few tables tightly packed together, cold...so cold I took off my duvet just long enough to eat but put the scarf around my shoulders...the person who was with me asked if he could turn up the air conditioner but he replied which was already at maximum..... strange to me the cold air was coming not to mention the drafts... Pizza?.... It arrived almost cold, the potatoes that were supposed to be baked seemed to have just been boiled, the pizza underneath was wet, the crust was almost more than the pizza. It was rubbery..(and I've also eaten real Neapolitan pizzas in Naples) one of the worst I've ever eaten... The glass arrived with traces of lipstick but the lady didn't see it... NEVER AGAIN IN A SIMILAR PLACE!! I couldn't take photos just because my cell phone was dead! P.s. the tables inside are not at all like in the photo

01/09/2024: Nowadays the Gran Gelato ice cream shop is the hub of our ice cream feasts. Both in summer and winter, their ice cream is absolutely the best. The variety of flavours, the quality and last but not least the friendliness of the kids mean that refreshing your palate with an excellent product is almost a must.... Their after dinner drinks are delicious.

10/01/2025: I'm sorry that, after consuming a chocolate and requesting 6 pancakes to take away, they were already sold out at 4pm. The advertising sign at the entrance: our pancakes have arrived, left me speechless.

03/01/2025: Peratoner is a historic, very beautiful and well-kept chocolate shop. The service was super fast. I recommend it for the chocolate that is served with a meringue.

20/12/2024: Update: I brought one panettone back to American to share with friends and family and they all loved it. Here’s what they said (they too have eaten “From Roy” panettone). “The bread is very similar [to Roy] But I feel like the trimming inside is more fresh and soft compared to Roys. I like it” “Panettone tastes great! So light and airy” “Yes! It’s very good! Thanks for sharing it with us!” I know I am very obsessed with this panettone but it’s my passion to share information about good food! Lol So, do not miss out! Buy one or two! Also, I knew the bakery was very good because I saw the very famous panettone cookbook in her shop😍 I hope to one day learn to make one just as good as hers! Also, here are more photos :) Btw, the whipped cream on the maritozzo was really good!!! (I went around 12pm which was too late. I should have come when they opened). ————————- First Review: So far it’s the best panettone I’ve tried in Italy. So good I am buying another one. I got the classic one. It’s a little expensive but worth it. €40 for classico (and €44 for chocolate). To compare, it’s not as good as “This is From Roy” Panettone but it’s the closest after trying some local bakeries here and in Bologna. Also, “This is From Roy” currently $102, which is crazy and greedy of Roy! I would happily buy 2 from Fermento! Plus, the space box is super cute! Also, pastries are good too but I wish there was plain croissants. (Maybe I was there too late?). Will go again today to see of there are plain ones.

19/11/2024: I should have put at least a photo of what I bought but... I didn't have time because it finished in the blink of an eye!!! I passed in front of the shop window and immediately what I could see from their stall caught my attention: ... the husbands! FANTASTIC Large, full, full with a "cream" that is neither too sweet nor insipid nor nauseating but simply perfect with a veil of custard on the sides of the dough! Obviously it's my opinion but it's my review!!! the other pastries are equally excellent with a custard that has vanilla! simple but clean environment! I saw more than a few guys leaving with pizza and focaccia! I can't wait to go back and try the savory…
