We ate tagliolini with ragù, passatelli in broth, three side dishes, two main courses, three desserts, two liters of still water, two coffees, and a Remy Martin, for three covers: €75.
Every day, the main courses and side dishes are served buffet style, along with a few first courses.
You can also order à la carte, but they take longer: we ate what was on offer today.
I really liked the veal with tuna sauce because, in few other places where I've had it, the sauce was savory, while today, it was just the capers that gave it the right saltiness.
Even though I've lived in Imola for a long time, I'd never been there.
We loved everything: a few things were done well.
It was like eating at home.
The atmosphere was comfortable, not at all noisy.
I recommend booking to secure a seat inside.
The facilities are spacious and well-maintained: my only concern is that it might be difficult for someone with mobility issues to access, as there are two steps to climb.
I'd never seen Caffè 14 Luglio before: it's Bolognese, pleasant.

07/07/2026: The food was spectacularly good! 'Simple', with a touch of love, distinctive sauces, and fresh pasta cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was tranquil, and the service was welcoming and attentive. I will definitely return. Highly recommended!!
25/06/2026: A truly beautiful place, in a period building with a lovely garden. Upon entering, the tavern-like atmosphere breaks the pretentious luxury restaurant vibe and elevates the experience to another level. The menu is excellent, featuring plenty of seasonal ingredients and delicious off-menu dishes at fair prices. The service is very friendly. In short, a must-try!

Colorful dishes, rich in flavor and texture, with a wealth of spices carefully balanced, each dish presented with a brief description of the ingredients used, and informal and truly pleasant service—a wonderful experience I highly recommend!
05/10/2025: Always good. You feel good, you eat well, and you leave happier than when you came in. Booking is a good idea. It's also excellent for breakfast, especially for those with lactose intolerance, and in Imola you can't find anything edible. It's a real treat here.

04/01/2026: We were 20 people at this restaurant, and the experience was unfortunately very disappointing, especially considering the final bill of €1,000.
The agreed-upon menu was €39 per person, but the quality of the food was not up to par.
In particular, the mutton, in my opinion, had an unpleasant odor, which created considerable discomfort at the table.
The tagliata was also dry and poorly prepared, far from what one would expect from a dish of this type.
Another negative note: during the service of the first courses, they turned off the heating in the entire restaurant, leaving everyone eating in the cold. This was truly unprofessional, especially with a large group and in the middle of the evening service.
Also noteworthy is the house wine, served in a carafe at €10 a liter, which offers a decidedly questionable quality/price ratio.
The service overall seemed inattentive and poorly organized, lacking proper management for a table of 20 people.
Bottom line: €50 for an anonymous experience, cold "in every sense of the word," and not worth the asking price.
I wouldn't recommend it for group dinners or for anyone looking for a modicum of quality for their money.

25/05/2026: We were here on a Monday evening. There were only a few people in the dining room, yet the quality of the food was quite poor. The appetizer was supposed to be a mixed fried vegetable platter with mozzarella in carrozza, but it was just a miserable, low-quality frozen supermarket portion. For our first course, we had black spaghetti with shellfish and burrata: the shellfish were definitely from the day before, and the pasta was precooked, so it was all stuck together. The only redeeming feature was the main course, a sliced beef steak. Highly recommended, we spent €87 for two and had a very poor meal.
10/05/2026: Varied and delicious menu, especially the pizza! Giropizza is a great option for groups and everyone! Ideal for families, given the large indoor play area! Always available! Highly recommended!

30/03/2024: Ho ordinata una colomba a febbraio con la richiesta di avere una delle ultime sfornate in modo di spedirla x un regalo. Ho pagato tutto in anticipo. Ritirata oggi..... è fatta 18 di febbraio. Ho chiamato ma mi hanno detto che le colombe con data recentente non ci sono e non si può sostituire e comunque la colomba è buona anche dopo scadenza.Hmm...... ho aspettato fino all'ultimo per avere una colomba fatta a febbraio?! ..allora scusa a cosa serve ordinarla? La cosa bella è che quando sono passata in settimana mi hanno detto che sarà preparata proprio per sabato. Gli errori possono succedere ma il modo sbrigativo della signora al telefono e neanche un parola tipo...ci dispiace. Questo no che non può succedere. Succo della facenda...non ordinerò mai più in questa pasticceria.
