18/02/2024: Excellent pizzeria located on the beautiful Piazza Bilotti, with some tables also located outdoors. Friendly and helpful staff. The pizzas, crunchy and variously stuffed, are truly delicious. Living in the area, I go there often; prices are normal.

08/02/2024: Not recommended.. After a journey of several hours we arrive at lunchtime in Camigliatello and at the first place, where I saw a few people sitting, I decided to book... Poor service, not to mention the bad smell of sweat from the staff (I had to wave the soaked wipes to let the breathable air return to the internal room) dishes nothing special and most of them not available (in full season mhaaaa🤦‍♀️) ... In the end for a first course, a miserable second course and arrived with raw meat, a meager saucer of chips and a saucer with one and I repeat 1 sliced ​​and fried mushroom (in old oil) a water also of dubious origin given that it arrived already open so for me it was plain water from the tap and a small beer between us we paid 76 euros... Taken and thrown away never again...

11/09/2023: Great place to eat and very good atmosphere the meal was delicious from start to finish. Excellent service with a smile. We will definitely be coming back before we leave and probably treating a few of our family members. We shared an Antipasto Calabrese then we parted ways and had our mains followed up with a beautiful lemon sorbet. The restaurant is on a quiet street so easy enough to park directly outside without any problems. I think the tip was included in the final bill so no need to tip here as they will apply the minimum.

10/09/2023: I really don't understand how they can serve such poor quality stuff! Seafood appetizer with old raw meat; First course of seafood ugly and tasteless, all frozen stuff; Pizza arrived already cold and I still doubt whether it is the ones that need to be defrosted and then put in the oven! We wanted to get the fried fish, but at that point we gave up. Account..no comment! The angry waitress, who you were almost afraid would beat you if you asked her for something... Overall, a bad experience and I absolutely don't recommend it.

23/07/2023: Un’esperienza unica ma positiva, la nostra famiglia composta da 4 persone abbiamo deciso d’assaggiare più cose dal menù tipo cozze gratinate, polpo arrosto, tagliatelle ai crostacei, frittura di paranza e filetto di spigola ai carciofi, semifreddo al limone della casa e dobbiamo dire che la qualità e l’abbondanza è veramente unica accompagnato da un servizio veloce e professionale

09/05/2024: Staff presumed we were tourists and grossly overcharged my wife €18 for 4 double espressos, 2 Cornetti, and 1 orange juice. We have lived in Scalea 16 years - first time stopping for caffe here since our normal favorites - Lanterna Blue and Retro were closed Thursday. We will not return to La Dolce Isola

03/01/2024: Wir waren - am 3.1.2024 - im hübschen alten Hügeldorf Rossano und dort waren alle Restaurants geschlossen. Durch Zufall sind wir auf das sympathische Maqueda Restaurant in Rossano Neustadt gestossen und wurden mit unseren zwei Windhunden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Essen war wunderbar, wir waren erst nach 14.00 Uhr dort und mussten uns auch nicht beeilen. Die Vorspeisen und das lauwarme Brot (durch den Besitzer selber nach der slow food Methode gebacken), herrlich. Bestes Olivenöl aus Rossano war auf dem Tisch. Die Hauptgänge und Desserts (hausgemacht!) top! Am Abend soll es Pizza geben, mit einem Teig, den sie über lange Zeit aufgehen lassen, das ist sehr bekömmlich. Wir werden sie probieren kommen! Bis bald und grazie mille!
