20/09/2025: I ordered a gourmet octopus sandwich, whose ingredients list included grilled octopus. My sandwich arrived with cold octopus salad inside—the kind you'd find in seafood salad, so to speak. Feeling mocked, I went to the waitress to tell her the grilled octopus hadn't arrived. Then another woman, I assumed the owner, came over and told me they grilled the octopus anyway, but since it wasn't a seafood restaurant, I couldn't expect fresh octopus. I pointed out that I didn't expect fresh octopus, and that it could have been frozen and grilled. I felt doubly mocked because she reiterated that the octopus had been grilled when it had clearly come out of the fridge. Not content, the woman also asked me, in a less than pleasant tone, "So what should I put in the sandwich?" Are you kidding? Not only do you not apologize or admit your grave error, but you also respond rudely and arrogantly? If you don't know/want to handle fish, don't put it on the menu, and you definitely shouldn't contradict a customer who politely pointed something out to you, because you didn't make a good impression. I definitely won't be back.

27/08/2025: Upon entering this pizzeria, I immediately had a pleasant feeling: a very, very clean environment, cared for with the attention and order found in a home. The dining room isn't huge, but it's immaculately kept, with simple furnishings typical of a country pizzeria, understated yet tastefully done. It's not a place that focuses on elaborate details, yet it exudes warmth and care. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable, always ready to offer advice. But the real star is the pizza: a truly amazing dough, light and flavorful. I tried a special pinza, topped with garlic oil and Colonnata lard, and I must say it was extraordinary. A recommended pairing that turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. One detail that really struck me was the open kitchen: impeccable, tidy, and spotless, just like the rest of the place. Not everyone can match that. I was surprised, however, to see the place almost empty on a Friday evening. With prices absolutely in line with the market and such high quality, it makes you think about how often we choose more commercial and less authentic places. Here, however, you immediately sense the expertise of those who have studied and know their craft, as the numerous awards hanging on the walls confirm. In conclusion, a truly worthwhile place: top-notch quality, a welcoming atmosphere, and competent staff. It's definitely worth a try.

16/08/2025: We were on vacation in Scalea and decided to eat here at the last minute. We were very satisfied because everything was very good and carefully prepared. Mr. Vincenzo, the dining room manager, was very kind and professional. He even helped us choose the most suitable items for children since we didn't have much experience with Japanese food. I highly recommend it.

16/08/2025: Nice restaurant, sushi was pretty good, ramen was not too great (was instant noodles) service was good.

11/12/2025: The place is not very welcoming; the sushi looks unappealing, the portions are extremely small, and the quality of the fish is unsatisfactory. The service is excessively slow, and the wait for a table was excessive. Furthermore, the owner was not particularly friendly.

02/12/2025: This place has nothing but advantages. Super friendly staff, very good sushi for an all-you-can-eat restaurant, and a very nice location—you can also eat outside...very pleasant, I must say.

15/12/2025: Excellent bar and wine shop on the Scalea promenade. Tables under umbrellas with comfortable chairs and super friendly service. Excellent white wines by the glass 😋 The appetizers are excellent with an aperitif or wine. The salsa pairs perfectly with tacos; it seems so fresh you'd think it was homemade. Saturday: crepes with anchovies. Indoor seating for groups and celebrations. Ice creams for a fresh and tasty breakfast. Stop by, you won't regret it.

01/01/2026: We stayed at this agriturismo to celebrate New Year's Eve. It was a wonderful experience!!! First of all, the special, warm welcome, as if we had known each other for a long time. Chef Pasquale and his fiancée, despite their young age, proved capable and professional, ready to embark on a new business venture. The evening was fantastic; we, like all the other guests, had a great time. The dishes were delicious and prepared in a truly delightful way. The menu lacked nothing of the New Year's Eve tradition. We slept in their rooms, which were clean and fragrant. Given the fairly low temperatures... -7 They were attentive, making sure the heating worked all night without interruption; in short, they pampered us. A warm thought also goes to Pasquale's mother, a very sweet lady, with whom we exchanged pleasant conversations, even about personal matters, just as one does with family. Before leaving, young Pasquale gave us a bag of typical Sila potatoes. Well, I won't add anything else... Everything was beautiful, we have created fond memories of Calabria, thanks to Cascina del Fiume. Hugs from the people of Messina

13/10/2025: We stopped at this agriturismo after attending the Camigliatello mushroom festival. We had a great time. The food was good, with generous portions and helpful, friendly staff. I highly recommend it!

12/10/2025: Terrible experience. We ordered an aperitif in the evening: beers, various snacks, and rustic products. The reheated products were nothing special, probably from the morning, but the price was fair overall. The real problem was the service: the older employees, especially the lady who worked the evening shift, were very rude and unprofessional. I won't be returning in the evening; on the contrary, I recommend going in the morning, when the young staff knows their job.

02/04/2025: Let me start by saying that the food is excellent, but it used to be even better. Lately, the dishes have been a bit too flavorful; if they could improve this small aspect, it would really be top notch. Anyway, full marks for everything.
