31/01/2026: Well, I have to say that I always go to this little place because it's right off Corso Mazzini, so centrally located, and because it's very welcoming. And tonight, despite the crowds inside, it continues to be a place where the dishes, especially the meat, are delicious, and the service and friendliness are top-notch. I highly recommend it.

22/12/2025: It's impossible to go in the summer, but we happened to be in the area on a winter morning and stopped by this place on the main road in Davoli Marina. It's small inside, but the outdoor seating is comfortable. We sampled the croissants and took home an artisanal panettone, which was excellent and loved by everyone.

20/01/2026: Excellent dining experience and very friendly staff. The restaurant's decor is beautiful, with a section filled with photos and messages from customers, including children's drawings. The Chinese-style chandeliers are beautiful: they create a very soft and pleasant atmosphere. Only request: offer only one portion of tuna, sea bass, and a mixed sashimi at lunch, in addition to the salmon, which is already included.

05/10/2025: I didn't eat so I'm not judging but the customer service is definitely very low. It took me two hours to be called back for a table after they had made me sit right at the till where everyone was watching you and you had to be careful that they didn't trip and end up on your table.

21/09/2025: Pizzeria San Gennaro in Cariati Marina is a true delight for pizza lovers. The pizzas are large, thick, easy to digest, and come in a wide variety: there's something for everyone! The atmosphere is charming and welcoming, perfect for a pleasant evening. Excellent pizza, definitely worth returning for.

23/12/2025: Nothing to say, very good pizza

27/10/2025: The seafood appetizer: only low-quality cured meats and packaged seafood salad, no cheeses or anything else. The pasta: tagliatelle with mushrooms... tasteless, and the mushrooms inedible, bought practically raw, frozen, and thrown on the pasta. The fettuccine with stockfish? The most absolute disgusting dish I could have ever had... I don't know if the stockfish was rotten or taken from putrid water and thrown in the sauce... when the dish arrived, it smelled like sewers, and when stirring the pasta, it smelled like a mix of sewers and horse stables... obviously, we didn't eat... We only paid to avoid controversy... It's not that I don't recommend it, I'm telling you NEVER to go there!

12/04/2026: The waiter was only friendly to people he knew or identified as Italian. It felt very strange, especially since we were paying for the service and the coffee. We weren't pushing, we were on vacation after all—but being ignored for an extended period and only taking orders from other guests who arrived much later was a power play that was undignified and childish.

18/03/2026: The products are good, but the professionalism of some of the staff leaves much to be desired. "I went to this bar and had a delicious dessert. Unfortunately, due to my mistake (I spilled coffee at the counter), I was treated like a burden! While one barista was very kind and remade it for me right away, his colleague started grumbling and treating me poorly, despite my complete willingness to clean and my apologies. When she came out to clean, I offered to do it myself if she'd give me some paper, but she completely ignored me, cleaned in silence, and left without saying a word. The food may be good, but politeness and customer service are just as important."

26/12/2025: A very well-equipped beach resort. In addition to well-maintained umbrellas and loungers, the lounge area is also very nice, featuring a pool (though with the beautiful sea, it wouldn't be necessary) and two hot tubs available for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is spacious and comfortable. I've only been there during the day, but I imagine it's well-organized in the evenings. I recommend it even just for a day at the beach.

14/09/2025: We were in Cirò Marina on vacation for a few days, and we couldn't miss this bar for breakfast every day. Excellent service, top-quality pastries and croissants, and the staff were very nice and friendly.

06/09/2025: We had breakfast at this pastry shop, but I expected more! The cappuccino was full of bubbles, and the pastries were nothing special.

27/09/2025: We dined outdoors in a very welcoming setting, amidst decorative lights and well-kept trees. Everything was very clean and tidy; the staff was helpful, professional, and attentive to customer requests; very fast service. The mixed fried appetizer was good, but could be improved; the pizza (4 different ones) was well-leavened with excellent quality ingredients; the dessert: tiramisu and caramel cheesecake were truly delicious. The yeast-raised weizen beer was very good. The price was fair. A beautiful and relaxing evening, worth repeating!!!

03/09/2025: The setting was really beautiful, with trees and lights. Being outdoors, despite the crowds, it was very quiet, which I appreciated. We ordered three pizzas to share, and each one was better than the last. I recommend the one with zucchini cream. We also ordered a mixed fried food, which was good, but I would have made it a little larger. The prices were fair! I recommend it.

07/02/2026: terrible, this staff does not perform or rather cannot have time limits in the table service for sandwiches, taking an inaccessible time of more than 1 hour and 30 minutes, I have no words

06/01/2026: I find it very difficult to review this experience. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about; the sandwiches and pinsas were good, definitely 5-star. As for the service, unfortunately, I have to complain about a serious lack. Why only 2 stars: we ordered 1 potato, 2 pinsas, and 4 sandwiches. After a 15-minute wait, the potatoes arrived, and then nothing. The first sandwich arrived half an hour later, and the next ones arrived 15-20 minutes later. Basically, when the first of us had finished his dish, the last one was supposed to start. Given the current situation, we carefully avoided ordering anything else. What left me most perplexed was the feeling that if you're friends with one of the waiters or the owner, you get served first and better. Otherwise, I can't explain why two tables of young people who arrived after us, clearly friends of the waiters, were served before us. I don't even accept the excuse that the place was full. When you've been in business for over 10 years and you don't know how to handle a full place, maybe you should reconsider. The atmosphere is pleasant; the only thing I can think of is to make the stools a couple of centimeters lower. I'm looking forward to another visit this summer.

07/12/2025: Not a positive experience, unlikely to happen again. I thought I'd spend the evening of the eve of the Immaculate Conception with my wife, enjoying a good pizza, but it didn't quite go that way. The pizza was burnt around the edges, the black olives were salty beyond belief, but the worst part was the bad smell it gave off, perhaps from the "cured" ham, or perhaps it was cooked shoulder for the cat, but it accidentally ended up on my pizza. I don't know, and for the future, I don't care. It was recalled, for goodness sake (and of course they didn't) and replaced with a much simpler one. The most disappointing thing is that no one, from the waitress to the owner, to the pizza chef, even slightly apologized for what happened. Nothing. So you have to say: what kind of future do you want, where are you going?! A mention of the inconvenience would have been enough, and everything would have been fine. Unfortunately, as always, they're focused on profit, without understanding and considering that the customer is, for them, the most important thing. And it takes a moment to lose it. That's why there were only four cats around our table.... Only later did I understand. In conclusion: being true professionals, those who "lull" the customer with the certainty that they will return, is not in the mindset of our beloved entrepreneurs. There's little that can be done.

09/08/2025: ZERO STARS. YOU ARE TERRIBLE, UNRELIABLE, AND NOT AT ALL SERIOUS. PEOPLE ORDER GOODS FROM YOU, AND YOU DON'T EVEN PREPARE THEM, ONLY CAUSING INCONVENIENCE. NOT TO MENTION THE COOKS WHO ONLY USE FATS AND CHEESES TO RAISE YOUR CHOLESTEROL AND TRIGLYCERIDES THROUGH THE SKY. THE PUBLISHED PRICES DO NOT CORRESPOND TO REALITY. YOU WRITE THAT THE SIDE DISH COSTS €3.50 AND THEN PAY €4.00 FOR IT, AND YOU CHARGE €5.00 FOR THE FRUIT SALAD INSTEAD OF €4.00. REPORT THIS TO THE FINANCE POLICE.
