04/05/2025: Ho pranzato presso la Taverna lo scorso 25 aprile. In tre al tavolo. La Taverna era al completo. Aspettativa alta ma la cucina non è stata all’altezza delle recensioni e dei consigli considerati attendibili. I fusilli alla calabrese serviti, denotano la mano di un cuoco poco sapiente: non un ragù ma una salsa al pomodoro e un po’ di carne tritata. Nei secondi, salsiccia e patate valutati appena sufficiente. Ampi i margini di miglioramento. Servizio veloce e personale cortese e disponibile. Da riprovare in un giorno non festivo.

23/03/2025: Ottimo locale appena all'uscita dell'A2. Proprietario gentile e disponibile nonostante l'orario prossimo alla chiusura. Piatti di qualità, genuini, ben presentati. Servizio al tavolo impeccabile. Da non perdere soprattutto quando si è in transito.

25/08/2025: There are a few outdoor tables for dining in, but despite the fair and the holiday, we managed to find a seat. The pizzas and arancini were truly excellent. We chose the place for the gluten-free pizza, which was truly delicious.

21/08/2025: One of the best pizzerias if you're in Palmi, Calabria. Quality ingredients, excellent flavor, and friendly staff. The place is clean and nice, but nothing special. Would I go back? Absolutely.

25/08/2025: They basically ruined our evening! On August 19th, we wanted something to eat before the Folklore Festival and were drawn to this pub. We were a group of seven and ordered three plates of fried food and seven sandwiches. Even though the place still had free tables, the manager had correctly warned us that it would take a while, so we agreed to wait and sat down. A customer revealed that, not expecting a particularly large crowd that evening, the owners had decided to limit the staff, and in fact there was only one waitress who was (innocently) going crazy between orders and tables. However, there is no excuse for the following: after over an hour, the first plate of fried food arrived (six onion rings, which seemed frozen), and then, slowly, the other two. The sandwiches, however, were a disaster: the first one arrived after almost two hours, and the other five arrived within 20 minutes. One of the sandwiches, however, had been forgotten, and after pointing it out to the waitress, we were ignored. Another 10 minutes passed, and after two and a half hours of waiting, we realized that other tables were being served without a problem. We asked for an explanation, but the answers were vague and absurd: "It's coming out," "We're reheating the meat," "It takes a long time to prepare." Eventually, seeing as no solution or apology was forthcoming, we decided to leave, one sandwich short, but not before expressing our disappointment once again. No compensation, no apology, just total disorganization and lack of professionalism. At one point, we were even subtly threatened by two individuals (probably friends of the owners) who told us (verbatim) "You're speaking the wrong way." The food, while not bad, doesn't justify such poor service. We will never come back!

20/08/2025: Seven of us ordered three plates of fried food and seven sandwiches. The manager warned us it would take a while, even though the restaurant still had a few tables available. The first plate of fried food (six onion rings, presumably fried from frozen) arrived over an hour later. Then the other two arrived. The first sandwich, however, took almost two hours. Then five more arrived in the next 20 minutes, while I reminded the waitress that one was missing. After another 10 minutes, so almost two and a half hours after we sat down, and noticing that other sandwiches had been served to other tables in the meantime, we asked for an explanation. The replies were mocking: it's coming out, we're heating the meat, it takes a long time to prepare, etc...nothing. Everything was fine, and we would have even waited, but after yet another mocking response, after two and a half hours for six sandwiches, we left, one sandwich short. Not even an apology or an offer, just utter incompetence, arrogance, and mockery. The food wasn't even bad.

26/08/2025: I went to this restaurant on Ferragosto (August 15th) for lunch with friends and family, and unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience at all. We sat down around 1:00 PM, and the first courses arrived around 3:45 PM. I understand it's a holiday and the waits are a bit longer, but waiting almost 3 hours for our dishes is inconceivable! The girl who served us, unfortunately, wasn't at all polite; she had a very annoyed look, and when we asked her questions, she wouldn't respond politely, in addition to the unprofessional service. I've been to S. Barbara before, and I can confirm that overall the food is good, but unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing.

21/08/2025: I was there yesterday with my friends. The welcome was free. The lounger and two deck chairs were good, but the electricity went out for about five hours due to technical problems, causing problems for customers at other beach resorts. There was electricity. We also had lunch in the restaurant, eating three large salads and a plate of penne pasta, including two bottles of water, for €85. The mixed salad, obviously from the supermarket, was accompanied by toasted bread that was inedible because it was like shoe insoles. Furthermore, when we insisted several times for more bread to go with the salad, they served us slices of bread from at least the day before, as they didn't have fresh bread. I highly recommend the restaurant. The only positive note was Mauro, the waiter, who was obviously shocked by what had happened. The sea is gorgeous, but we won't be returning to Lido Goccia.

13/08/2025: Terrible beach, staff doesn't know how to do their job, kindness is zero, I don't recommend this beach

21/05/2025: Structure in a total state of abandonment. ZERO cleaning, dilapidated structure, sheets with holes, dirty bedspread from previous guests, shower glass perhaps never washed. Not even a bottle of water in the fridge, nor in the room. Certain structures should be closed by the ASL and the municipality. The only positive note is the location close to the center.

06/07/2025: We took the pizza from this place to take away but we were deeply disappointed: very thin pizza, lacking in ingredients, not very tasty, a total disaster. Furthermore, it is not filling since it is practically a wafer. We will never book again.

02/09/2025: This restaurant is literally right on the sea, and if you book a table outside around 7:30pm you’ll enjoy a perfect sunset while dining. I’ve been coming here every summer holiday, and the food has never disappointed me. The fresh fish dishes are always excellent, and the stone-baked pizza is a must-try. We recently celebrated the 15th of August bank holiday here with my family, enjoying a special set menu at €55 per person. It included six delicious fish courses, dessert, and drinks—great value for the quality. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for families, as the location right in front of the beach makes the whole experience unforgettable.

22/08/2025: Welcoming atmosphere. Terrible service, slow and poor. Complete order placed at 9:30 PM, appetizers arrived at 10 PM (fried baby octopus and calamari), and it's 10:43 PM and the pizzas still haven't arrived. We're definitely not there. I don't think we'll be back... or maybe they'll find me asleep at the table, who knows...

23/08/2025: The pizza is good but the wait is long. If I book at that time it should be ready. There's a 5-10 minute wait but no more.

23/08/2025: I'm sorry for the pizzeria itself but the service is too slow... you come in at 8pm and leave at 11pm and we only ordered simple pizzas... I strongly advise against it.

30/08/2025: If you're in Rende and craving a truly delicious kebab, I absolutely recommend Dunya. The restaurant offers outstanding quality: flavorful meat, pita bread, and flatbread that truly make a difference. In addition to kebabs, there's a wide selection of delicacies, especially fries of all kinds with various sauces, perfect to accompany your meal. Another plus is the waiter: very kind, always available, and smiling, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. In short, a place that combines goodness, variety, and courtesy.

06/02/2025: Espectacular comida en un espacio de lo más encantador comisariado con cariño por gente maravillosa. Me encantó todo, pero lo mejor fue charlar con la signora Daniela extremadamente conocedora y la divina sopa de verduras con huevo en la parte superior.
