A simply perfect stay! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a smile and a rare level of hospitality. The space is meticulously maintained, immaculately clean, and truly comfortable—you can immediately sense the love and passion that goes into running this B&B.
Breakfast was a treat: fresh, local products served with meticulous attention. Every corner exudes tranquility and well-being, ideal for unwinding and feeling at home (actually, better!).

27/01/2026: Lunch for two on a typical Friday, so not many other customers. First time here, recommended by a friend. Excellent food, all locally sourced, so great quality and generous portions. The owner was very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely, with a roaring fireplace. A truly excellent lunch. The price was €35 per person for the full menu, which was reasonable for what we ate. It's definitely much busier on weekends. San Costantino Albanese is a little gem in Basilicata. I highly recommend visiting and having lunch here.

23/12/2025: I found this restaurant by chance and it was a wonderful surprise. All the dishes are traditional local dishes, and in some cases, they've been beautifully reinterpreted by chef Silvana. For those like me who love the flavors and aromas of Italian cuisine, this is an absolute must-visit. A special mention also goes to Mimmo, who is incredibly kind and helpful.

07/03/2026: We're not used to writing reviews, but we couldn't help but share our experience at Pierfaone, and we hope these lines can help those who, like us, are looking for true professionals to rely on for the success of their event, leaving nothing to chance.
MANAGEMENT OF REQUESTS: From the very beginning, we were told to think of this event as something to be adapted to our needs, without being influenced by the "standard" models we'd seen in other contexts. Our wedding was held on December 30th, and for this day, we wanted a winter day, reminiscent of a mountain cabin and allowing our guests to enjoy a welcoming and evocative atmosphere. To create the atmosphere we requested, we worked together, in addition to all the other details, to define a "winter" corner consisting of a relaxation area with a fire pit and a hot drinks corner.
PLANNING: Since we live outside the region, the organization had to be conducted almost entirely remotely (only three in-person meetings were enough to finalize the details of our event).
From the very first visit, Donato and the entire staff proved to be extremely kind, welcoming, and above all, extremely professional and attentive to every request. The work they did not only involved organizing the meal itself, but also coordinating the arrangements to ensure that the florist, band, and photographer (some of whom were from outside the region) all received the same instructions and respected the timeframe we requested. As a testament to the staff's professionalism, vendors who had never worked with them before confided that they had never encountered such helpfulness, thoughtfulness, and care, both professionally and personally.
SERVICE: For us, the service was simply impeccable! We experienced courtesy, attentiveness to all guests, and professionalism from the first moment of the day until closing. Both we, the celebrants, and our guests felt treated with respect and care, a feeling undoubtedly due to the very thorough and meticulous underlying organization. Many of our guests were amazed by how well they felt cared for and treated throughout the day, telling us they had never seen management and service of this level: cleanliness and order throughout, the ability to anticipate guests' needs before they could express them, attentive and well-dressed staff, and precise, elegant yet discreet service.
DISHES: Already during the planning phase, Donato asked us about our preferences and the types of dishes we would like served. Based on our suggestions, he developed a series of superior options, including those tailored to food intolerances and preferences.
During the menu tasting, we were able to evaluate all the options presented to us, including those tailored to food intolerances and preferences (vegan and vegetarian options). This is when we ran into serious problems: it wasn't easy to choose which dishes would be our favorites, because all the options proved to be truly excellent.
Speaking of the final result, we can only say one thing: if, despite the generous portions, the multiple appetizers and entrees, a Novara native—who hails from the land of rice—requests the trio of risottos, the quality of the food was certainly among the best!
In short, we believe Pierfaone "ruined" us. We realized, having attended other weddings before and after ours, that unfortunately, when you experience such an extraordinary level of care and quality, it's hard to appreciate other experiences.

But... in this place at the end of the world, there's a place where the pizza is truly THE END OF THE WORLD!
DELICIOUS!!!

We were made to feel so welcome by Stefania who went above and beyond to look after us even though our stay was in the low season. We had a very comfortable room but the highlight was the evening meal which was the most delicious local produce cooked to perfection. An experience and a stay that we will cherish always. 15/02/2026: The location is simply fantastic. The restaurant is an old farmhouse steeped in history, which the sweet waitress passionately shared with us. Today, it's an agriturismo with authentic charm, furnished by the owner Antonio with unique pieces from the past that make the atmosphere even more evocative.
Upon entering, you're greeted by a splendid Moto Guzzi Falcone, a bicycle suspended from the ceiling, and an ancient wine press that recounts the traditions of times gone by. At the checkout, there's a precious collection of vintage cameras: you immediately sense the owner's passion for photography.
The dining room confirms this: the walls are adorned with numerous framed artistic photographs, photographs of animals and landscapes captured in wonderful moments, capable of moving and transporting the eye.
With such a refined atmosphere, the cuisine couldn't be less impressive. We enjoyed traditional dishes, such as "Lu Pan cuott," alongside more innovative options. Each dish was flavorful and balanced: the flavors never overpowered, but blended harmoniously, allowing us to appreciate each individual ingredient.
The staff was incredibly courteous and professional. The owner, with great kindness, introduced us to a dish not yet on the menu: ravioli filled with "cutturiedd" mutton, accompanied by a creamy caciocavallo cheese and cruschi peppers that were simply out of this world. An explosion of authentic and well-balanced flavors.
The quality-price ratio was excellent: we couldn't have asked for better. We'll definitely be back to try "Lu cuttudiedd" as well.
An experience we highly recommend!

Truly excellent, completely different from the average all-you-can-eat sushi you'll find. The filling is generous, the quality of the ingredients is truly excellent, and the texture is remarkable. The creativity and flavors are truly superior; the various ingredients stand out beautifully yet blend seamlessly together without overpowering or distorting each other. I highly recommend it!

26/01/2026: Wonderful experience! A very charming, welcoming restaurant with ample parking. I enjoyed a wonderful lunch, from the Lucanian appetizers to the first courses and spectacular desserts. Recommended by a dear friend, after this food and wine experience, I'm happy to recommend it as a must-visit. The staff is welcoming and friendly; Mimmo and his colleague in the dining room are perfect at managing guests. They make you feel at home.
