08/03/2026: The cafe in Matera had a great local atmosphere. The atmosphere was very pleasant, authentic and we felt very comfortable there. The coffee was excellent and the service was nice and helpful. It is an ideal place to take a short break and enjoy the real Italian atmosphere. I definitely recommend visiting.

02/03/2026: Authentic hospitality and flavors rich with life, Lucanian soil, and history. We've been to Nonna Rosa several times because we've fallen in love with it. The kindness is boundless, and the delicious recipes make you feel at home. The place is welcoming and makes you feel at home. We've eaten several times on different menus, from first courses to second courses and side dishes. Baked terracotta terrines, orecchiette and turnips, orecchiette with pork ragù, parmigiana, cod, veal, bread and meatballs. Homemade desserts. Every day is an invitation to experience Basilicata as if it were a Sunday with your family. Thank you!

05/01/2026: Very convenient location: not exactly in the hustle and bustle of the historic center, but still very close. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, clean and bright. The owner is very kind but discreet. There aren't many tables, so reservations are essential or you risk being left empty-handed. The menu doesn't offer a huge number of dishes, but they're small, well-prepared, and tasty. It's obviously a matter of taste, but we liked it. The price we paid was fair. If it were in my city, I'd go back. Congratulations!

15/02/2026: Awful pork. Ruined my vacation, could not eat anything for the next couple of days I was in Italy. Also when I left my clothes were so smelly (because of the food smell inside)
Awful experience. The pasta was OK but it doesn’t make up.

Highly recommended. I really enjoyed it. I plan to stop by again despite the hour and a half drive!

Very friendly waiters and very good fries.
I gave the pizza 4 stars for two reasons:
1- We ordered three pizzas: a Margherita, a salami pizza, and a sausage pizza.
The Margherita and sausage pizza were good, but I found the salami pizza a bit salty.
2- Although the pizzas were good, after about 20 minutes I felt like I hadn't eaten anything.
Otherwise, it was a great experience.

17/09/2025: We stumbled upon this ice cream shop by chance. I was struck by the elegance of the place and then by the ice cream. The flavors are different from the usual and delicious. Delicate yet enveloping. Go and savor these delicacies, you won't regret it!
04/09/2025: Located next to the Antico Frantoio restaurant, it's one of the best gelaterias in Bernalda. We had granitas there the two nights we stayed there. It's well-maintained and has an attractive display case. Prices are reasonable. Both the gelato and granita are definitely worth trying. I highly recommend it.

19/01/2026: Wonderful stay in Policoro and the surrounding area. As always, we stayed at the Hotel Hermes. It was comfortable, clean, with friendly and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast.
We'll be back as usual.
