29/05/2024: Can you apply strokes of color in the kitchen, like a painter? I would say yes... In a location where light does not predominate, this comes from the color palette, which explodes in the dishes. A very welcome welcome with bruschetta, anchovies and cheese, then a shared bluefin tuna appetizer with warm bread (delight...). Followed by linguine with turnip top cream (the taste of which, for me, could also have been stronger), clams and mussels. A place in the heart of Matera that has its own precise identity, whose 'open' cuisine inspires and then hits the mark.

15/08/2024: Beautiful restaurant, but the gem is the pasta with pistachio and red prawns. A gluten and lactose free dish that makes every single ingredient explode in your mouth!!!! Delicious food guaranteed by every celiac taste bud!! Very good and very kind!!!!

15/08/2024: I passed quickly, unfortunately I didn't have time to stop for lunch. I took a piece of pizza with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella.... Special, very good in fact my children also ate it. Congratulations, if I return to Matera I will be happy to stop.

13/08/2024: Last year i came here because i asked the owner of one of the museums here where to get the best focaccia in town, and he wrote paoluccio on a note for me. I had to come back with my boyfriend today, one year later for more. It’s delicious! Light, with really flavorful tomato sauce and the lovely taste of olive oil. Grazie mille 🤩

03/08/2024: A Matera tradition of excellence! A space focaccia! After 40 years I still find the same scent, the same flavor that distinguish the excellent product. You absolutely must stop here every time you visit Matera.

30/07/2024: Clean environment, courteous staff, very good first courses and also very good frying if it weren't for the very high prices I would go back, but a first course costing 20 euros and another 28 euros seems excessive to me... we didn't take desserts because a dessert cost 8 euros really very expensive. A fried fish, two first courses, water and coke 80 euros

20/08/2024: I'm sorry to have to change my review. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the treatment I received. We ordered a pizza and a puccia: the puccia was absolutely not a puccia but a very hard sandwich with a lot of crumbs inside, the same crumbs that we find in bread, only more compact. They probably thought we didn't know how a puccia was made. Now, I was born and raised in Matera, I go back there very often. I know very well what a puccia is. If these pucks had run out, I would have preferred to be informed and I would have taken something else without any problem. I felt a little cheated. It is sad to see that such behavior still exists. You don't make a good impression this way and I don't even think that this bakery needs to dupe customers, given that its products have always been excellent. The pizza was good, not at the levels I knew. The customer welcome is perfectible. Meh!

19/08/2024: Various choice of focaccias, various appetizers and even first courses! All very good! We will be back! I recommend the aperitif! €15 for two people!!!
