For me it was a beautiful and important discovery.
I have to thank a friend for introducing me to this beautiful and interesting one
Matera's restaurant offer: Il Pasticcio.
In this "pizzeria restaurant" I found elements that were fundamental for me: hospitality,
comfort, availability, all accompanied by good cuisine.
The pizzeria offers good pizzas; the kitchen satisfied my desire for
foods tasty in their simplicity and purity (for now penne all'arrabbiata, spaghetti with clams).
Since the first time, I've been coming back with pleasure.

The admission of DOGS into the room must absolutely be reviewed, it is not normal that in a moment of relaxation and quiet you should hear animals barking. (Besides being unhygienic)

31/03/2024: Before entering I thought I was having lunch in a restaurant but my partner and I were really surprised to find the service of a starred restaurant! The food was delicious, a search for native raw materials processed as tradition dictates. The elegant location immersed in the green panorama of the Marateo hills. I highly recommend.

28/01/2024: Esperienza super negativa, non per la qualità de cibo, sulla quale non posso esprimermi bensì sulla maleducazione e sulla cattiveria di una collaboratrice, (fo forse addirittura la titolare.)
Eravamo un gruppo di 4 persone e volevamo fermarci a pranzo ma vista l’indecisione ero entrata per prima per usufruire del servizio igienico (in quanto stavo poco bene). La signora mi chiede cosa io cercassi, e le rispondo che avevo necessità di utilizzare un bagno. Premetto che prima di chiedere se potessi utilizzarlo ho precisato che avrei pagato la consumazione (come è giusto che sia, non era mia intenzione usare il servizio a scrocco). Fatto sta che la sua espressione cambiò radicalmente, non appena ha raggiunto la consapevolezza di non avere davanti a se una “cliente da tavolo” se così possiamo dire.
Mi indica il bagno e non vi dico che scena riprovevole ha architettato, dopo pochi secondi ha iniziato a bussare insistentemente per farmi uscire e dicendomi cose poco carine.
Poi al pagamento della fantomatica consumazione, il mio ragazzo stava per pagare con carta e questa gentil donna ha tolto la frase “il pos non funziona, non vede che c’è scritto?”
Ho pagato la mia coca cola in bottiglia da 3,00€ e c’è ne siamo andati a mangiare altrove.
Premetto che avevo necessità seria di usare un servizio, e questo trattamento non me lo sarei mai aspettato, soprattutto con chi con il pubblico ci sta a contatto h24.

Between Covid which forced us to stay out of social life and the increasingly stressful work, my husband and I, with a group of friends, treated ourselves to a weekend in San Costantino Albanese, a small village where there is no chaos traffic and people, just looking at it gives you calm and serenity. For lunch, dinner and breakfast we relied on Pasquale, the owner of this place, what can I say, you eat divinely genuine food and amazing local products with very appropriate prices. I highly recommend it to everyone.

13/02/2024: Great focaccia, we ate one with tomato sauce and one with tomato sauce and aubergine, and they were really tasty!!! We also ate the traditional bread - pane di Matera, and it was delicious too!!!

Vasta scelta nel menù e tempi di attesa molto brevi. Ad avvalorare il tutto lo staff, soprattutto Francesco gentile allegro e disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta.

06/04/2024: We celebrated Easter in this very bright restaurant! The service 🔝, the hospitality and the menu exceeded our expectations! Above all, I was surprised to find this level in such a small municipality! The artichoke risotto "forced" almost everyone to repeat it! 😂
06/04/2024: I recommend the place if you are looking for an experiential journey: you will not find the dishes from an "Italian menu" with generous and classic portions, but each product offered is the result of a search for combinations that in my opinion are particular and refined. Surely when you eat out you look for the quality of the food but the eye also wants its part: the atmosphere of the brand new and very welcoming place, the dishes and the kindness of the staff complete everything.
I entered this place set up for a birthday for the first time and, after returning several times, I chose it to celebrate mine!
Excellent pizza even for me who have problems with yeast.
Last but not least, affectionate and extremely helpful owners.
