The bread here is a religious experience, delicious, like no other I've ever tasted... Highly recommended, very good prices, and the service was excellent and warm. I hope to have the opportunity to return to Matera in the future and come back here to eat bread again, haha.
A small bakery located in the central Sassi district of Matera. A wide selection of baked goods, both fresh and pre-packaged, such as taralli, ore chiette, and frise. We tried their pizza with turnip tops and crusco peppers, which was delicious! I understand the constant flow of tourists and the most bizarre requests, but a smile every now and then is always welcome.
