08/12/2025: I've passed by it many times, but finally had the chance to stop here for lunch since I was close by this time and had little time to go elsewhere. What can I say? It was a pleasant discovery, and from the outside I thought there wouldn't be any room because it was practically full...which is already a good sign. I recommend it and will definitely return for dinner next time.

28/02/2026: I've ordered gluten-free pizza delivery twice, once white and once red: what can I say, the best I've ever had!! After placing the order with a delivery app, I also called to ask for information and they were very kind. Highly recommended!

01/01/2026: A very positive experience! Even though we called at 1:45 PM, we still managed to have lunch. The welcoming and intimate atmosphere and the truly friendly and professional wait staff are a great asset. Appetizer: mixed cured meats and cheeses, and cheese and egg balls. Everything was truly delicious and made with quality ingredients. First courses: paccheri with pistachio pesto and tonnarelli cacio e pepe. These too were very flavorful and balanced. My only complaint about the cacio e pepe: perhaps the pasta was a little too salty, but that can happen. Dessert: tiramisu. Delicious and balanced, with a light amaretto flavor that adds an unexpected kick. Wine by the glass, water, coffee, and liqueurs. We spent €65 for two, and honestly, I thought it was very reasonable, given the quality of the ingredients and the service.

29/12/2025: I'd give the tonnarelli cacio e pepe a personal eight. Both the wait staff were very friendly, attentive, and quick. The information on what to see in Penne was helpful. I highly recommend Osteria del Leone.

02/03/2026: We went there this morning for breakfast. We asked at the counter for two small croissants and four coffees. The service was nonexistent, and the croissants were rock-hard, impossible to eat.

22/02/2026: My experience: I walk in. I read "yogurt with fruit" on the blackboard. I go to the register and ask for a yogurt. The annoyed black-haired lady at the register responds (verbatim): "See the yogurt in the display?" I leave.

06/03/2026: Beautiful restaurant, meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail! Super efficient, super organized staff, everything runs perfectly. Stop the negative comments, obviously everyone has bad nights 🤷🏻‍♂️ Excellent food, super satisfied with everything we tried, from appetizers to dessert!!! This is the perfect example of what a 360-degree restaurant should be!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

07/02/2026: An evening to forget. Takeout ordered for 7:30 PM, after 30 minutes of waiting they realized they had lost the order. At 8:15 PM our order arrives. We asked several times if everything was ready, the waitress reassured us and let us go. She apologized for the delay, offering 2 bottles of beer. Unfortunately, when we got home we realized that the following were missing: 1 portion of fried pizza, 1 nduija croquette, 4 pieces of rice croquettes... all strictly paid upon arrival. Evidently there is inadequate communication between the cashier and the kitchen. Terrible experience.

29/11/2025: I am so happy this place exists! Hands down the best vegan place in Abruzzo! So much choice, the freshly prepared food is delicious, particularly the sweet treat with a focus on local, traditional ones! I never thought I would ever be able to eat a vegan parrozzino 🥲 I brought some home to my non-vegan parents and they were also so impressed with the flavour and texture! The ravioli with pistachio sauce were also amazing! Cannot wait to go there again tomorrow, see you soon 😃❤️

19/10/2025: We went there just for a coffee and a croissant. We went out eating half of the cafe. All the food served is vegan. I highly recommend Tiramisù and croissants!

05/03/2026: Everything was extremely high quality. The arrosticini were worthy of the place we're in, and the first course portions were truly excellent. The quality was top-notch, and the ricotta was incredibly fresh. A must-visit if you're in the area. Excellent

11/11/2025: Unfortunately, due to the dislike of the brunette girl behind the counter, I didn't even look at the gelato flavors and left. If you work in front of the public, a smile and, at the very least, a greeting are mandatory. Obviously, the place was empty, otherwise I wouldn't have made such a comment if it were busy.

18/02/2026: Very nice place and great sushi food to enjoy with family or friends. Service good and fast, difficult parking to find around expecially in summer time so take care to go by foot. Price are average I do reccomend.

16/03/2026: I've been going to this restaurant with my family for over twenty years, so I'm very sorry to have to leave a negative review. Unfortunately, the service has gotten significantly worse in recent years. Waiters often get orders wrong or bring dishes we didn't request, probably due to communication difficulties. Last time, I specifically asked for sushi without avocado because it makes me feel sick and I just can't eat it. The dish arrived with avocado anyway. I had it taken back, politely asking for it to be remade. When he returned, the waiter practically put it on the table in a rude manner, glaring at me, as if my request were a problem. Immediately afterward, he complained to the owner, who came to the table, saying that "I always do this" and that next time I should specify that I wanted it without avocado, adding that they don't always have time to remake dishes. Too bad I had already specified this clearly. When I tried to explain the situation, the owner left while I was still speaking. I was truly disappointed by the rudeness I received, especially considering I've been a customer for many years and have always treated everyone with respect. Furthermore, when we order delivery through Just Eat or Deliveroo, something is often missing from the order, especially the sauces (which we pay for), despite having called several times to request more attention. I'm very sorry to write this, but after so many years, I expected completely different treatment and attention towards regular customers.

15/03/2026: I've been frequenting this little restaurant for years and have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I haven't eaten meat for a couple of years, and only recently did I discover that one of the dishes my family and I often ordered—shrimp balls—also contains meat. However, there's no asterisk or clear indication of the ingredients on the menu, which is a shame: for a long time, I ate something I'd actually chosen to avoid. I'd like to thank AFAU, who was very understanding and attentive to their customers. When I discovered the meat on my plate, they immediately took care of replacing it, despite some reservations from their superiors. It was a gesture I truly appreciated. For new customers... the shrimp balls and Shaomi ravioli are made with shrimp and mixed meat... now I know!

03/01/2026: One star, because the rules don't allow zero. I called the store on Via Nicola Fabrizi for a routine product inquiry. The response? The phone hung up on me twice, accused of prank calls. Evidently, in this store, asking what's on sale is considered suspicious behavior. Even more curious is that the person answering the phone works there but doesn't know what's on sale. Luckily, the colleagues at the marina store are decidedly smarter and more professional. A surreal experience. Terrible.
