21/09/2025: An easy, almost flat walk through stunning scenery. The refuge is beautiful, and the food is top-notch: the polenta concia and desserts are excellent. Go and you'll be happy and satisfied.

31/08/2025: If you go by the looks of the place from the road, you would be uninspired to stop at this place. It would be a great loss indeed.
This is a superb place to stop to eat. The food is homemade at it shows, extremely tasty and impeccable in all aspects. Decor is rustic, but the tables are elegant without being pretentious... we liked it.
The service is outstanding. Not only they accepted us very late close to closing time, but they served us without any rush. Apart from the waitress, both the owner and he chef came by our table to see if we were satisfied with what they had offered... which was delicious and cooked to perfection. We also forgot our credit card and the chef brought it to us, a 30 minute drive away, despite we had told him we would come back later for it.
Two plates of home made gnocchi with ragu and a large plate of tagliata beef with potatoes, grilled veg, half a litre of wine, coffee and liquer set us back just 55 Euro.
This was by far the best value for money place we ate at in our 10-day stay in Aosta Valley. Very Highly Recommended.

27/09/2025: One star because it's the lowest you can get. Terrible service, wrong orders, and waits of up to 2 hours.
For the quality of the food served and the bill, it's absolutely not worth it.
28/08/2025: The fish dishes are delicious: sea bass with potatoes and grilled sea bream. The tagliata with arugula and parmesan cheese, and the tagliatelle with radicchio and zucchini are also excellent.

13/08/2025: After a morning of trekking, we stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The simple yet charming setting perfectly complements the rustic feel of the place. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating, and the food was simple but high-quality. The price was reasonable for the service provided. All in all, a place I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

07/06/2025: Locale suggerito da una nota rivista soprattutto per i suoi baci di Nus che assomigliano molto a baci di dama e quindi molto buoni, attenzione danno dipendenza e potreste presto rimanere senza! Il locale situato sulla strada provinciale che attraversa il paese presenta un parcheggio esterno in comune con altri locali. L’interno di medie dimensioni offre diversi prodotti di pasticceria, è ordinato e il servizio è attento e cortese. Prezzi nella media.
18/05/2025: Prezzo esagerato per una semplice coppa di gelato ed un più si sono fatti pagare due volte il servizio al tavolo quando loro si sono dimenticati di portare tutti insieme...

Incantata da super mimma.. con un vissuto che ti lascia a bocca aperta…ambiente super confortevole e ricco di ricordi della sua vita che ti porta a lasciarti trasportare in tutto tutto quello che ha visto. Il cibo super buono e tutto cucinato da lei ed esci veramente soddisfatto e con la pancia piena ….Davvero il top.. super consigliato e ci tornerò il prima possibile

26/03/2025: Pranzato dopo aver ciaspolato, piadina buona,2 polente conce grumose,dove la fontina l'avevano vista in fotografia, vivendo in Valle sappiamo come si fa,un bianco alla spina terribile e un quarto di zucchina alla griglia sulla polenta 6 euroi n piu....Totale più di 50 euro in 3 ed aver mangiato male...Sicuramente non mi vedranno mai più

Informale, con piatti tipici. Buona la polenta concia. Servizio gentile e veloce. Va benissimo per una pausa in una giornata in montagna.

31/10/2024: Locale pulito e accogliente. In settimana a pranzo hanno il menù del giorno: primo, secondo con contorno, acqua e caffè 14€. Oppure alla carta, no pizza a pranzo. Abbiamo optato alla carta. Scaloppine al limone con patate e cotoletta alla valdostana con patate, ottimo. Servizio gentile e veloce.
