We were fortunate to be welcomed into the restaurant of Countess Emilia, a woman with an immense cultural background, having traveled the world for work and study. The delicacies she brings to the table, besides being authentic and exquisite, bring back the true flavors of times gone by. We are honored to have met her.

What can I say? It was a great surprise. I was looking for a place in the area for lunch and stumbled upon this place with my partner. Even though it was already past 1:30 PM, we were greeted without any problem, with extraordinary kindness. The owner cooked and served everything herself, and the dishes were exquisite, from the coleslaw with giardiniera, to the cabbage roll with ham and minced meat, to the vegetable soufflé and quail egg. We opted for the homemade ravioli topped with a simple, incredibly sweet tomato sauce. To finish, a fabulous chocolate cake. As a special treat, we listened to the owner's adventures around the world. We'll definitely be returning.

I have nothing but praise! It’s exquisite, top-notch… a monument of the Aosta Valley that chance allowed us to discover… We recommend it with our eyes closed and be curious, open your minds, the Countess has so much to tell you about the dishes! (Spoiler: she did the Paris Dakar in 81)

A very special atmosphere, reminiscent of a stately living room, with various memorabilia commemorating the owner's travels. She's the only one cooking and serving, preparing all the dishes with locally sourced ingredients, and the pasta and sauces are strictly homemade. The restaurant is open by reservation only, and the menu depends on product availability—an authentic experience impossible to find elsewhere.

We had a fantastic experience at this homely, unique place, which uses top-quality ingredients and offers truly excellent service. They also offer great vegetarian options. Mrs. Emilia was a warm, engaging, and charming host, which made the overall experience exceptional! A must-visit if you’re in the Aosta region, but just make sure to book in advance.

It wasn't just a dinner, it was an incredible experience. Mrs. Emilia cooks only for those who book and welcomes you as if you were at her home. The food is authentic, with local products and dishes cooked with love.
The service is like what you'd find at your grandmother's house, but I loved it. Mrs. Emilia is an incredible person; she's lived a full life with so many travels and amazing experiences, and the best part is hearing her life stories. She has life in her eyes and a love for cooking, and that's truly moving.
And for €30, we ate so much!!!
I highly recommend this magical place, and we'll definitely be back. But be sure to book in advance!

Even though we hadn't booked, we were welcomed. Mrs. Emilia is a wonderful host. In addition to preparing us a delicious dinner featuring mostly vegetables from her garden (a set menu: appetizer, main course, and dessert, all authentic and homemade), she delighted us with interesting stories and anecdotes, sharing some of her many life experiences with us. A fantastic evening!
