09/10/2025: A beautiful restaurant with an ancient Aosta Valley theme. Impeccable service, and a lovely idea to offer their own spiced wine (killer) with a welcome plate. The menu is very extensive, especially the wine selection. I wanted to try the Favô, a very good and unique dish, while my companion had the Agnolotti, also very good. To round things off, we had a tasting of 18 cheeses accompanied by three sauces, plus polenta, salad, and potatoes. The potatoes were a bit of a letdown because they were just whole boiled potatoes. But what can I say? An experience worth having. To finish, a panna cotta with raspberries and chocolate, very good but overpriced. I'm giving it 4 stars only because the wine and desserts are a bit overpriced. If you're passing through Cogne, I recommend stopping by. P.S. It offers a great view.

07/10/2025: Exceptional dinner. Attentive and fast service. Professional and courteous. We had dinner this evening, starting with caponata and carpaccio. Followed by a hearty raclette. We finished with gelato and a delicious zabaglione, freshly whipped in a copper pot. An experience that left us happy and truly full! Highly recommended for anyone looking to sample delicious dishes in a mountainous yet elegant setting.

Friendly and helpful staff. Congratulations to everyone! A rustic, typically Aosta Valley restaurant, tastefully decorated. Close to the historic center of Cogne. After being turned away by LA MADONNINA, our beagle-ina was able to enter without a problem. The difference is in the details.

05/10/2025: The food is good, no complaints there. But a platter for two with a dozen slices of cured meat, four (in number) pieces of cheese, two soups and two plates of pasta with sauce for the kids, half a glass of wine (€18)... total €100. I got up still a little hungry. This isn't a restaurant, which is supposed to cater; it's a rip-off. Goodbye.

03/11/2025: If you're passing through Cogne, you have to stop by! A charming spot for a bite to eat, lunch, or dinner in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is very well-kept, the staff is more than attentive and friendly, and the food is carefully selected and served without long waits, even at peak times. If you're a couple, ask for a table in the romantic and quiet cellar to further enhance your experience!

11/08/2025: Extremely disappointing stay and worrying lack of security and respect I stayed at this hotel hoping to have a pleasant stay, but the experience turned into a nightmare. During my absence, I had the very unpleasant surprise of discovering that my luggage had been searched. The arrangement of my belongings had clearly been altered, and some personal belongings had been moved. This type of situation is deeply shocking and unacceptable, especially in a hotel that is supposed to offer comfort and security to its guests. When I reported the problem to the reception desk, the staff's reaction was more than disappointing. No clear explanation was given, and management didn't seem to take the situation seriously. Instead of trying to understand or reassure me, I felt as if my words were being minimized, or even doubted. This lack of professionalism is unworthy of a hotel that claims to welcome its guests in good conditions. A hotel isn't just a place to sleep; it's also a place where you should be able to leave your belongings in peace. Here, trust was completely broken. I felt unsafe for the rest of my stay, forced to guard my personal belongings and fearing for their safety. This ruined my trip and prevented me from enjoying my time there. In summary, I strongly advise against this establishment to anyone who values privacy, the security of their belongings, and a minimum of consideration from the staff. There are many other hotels that, for the same price or less, will treat their guests with honesty, professionalism, and respect. For my part, this is the last time I'll set foot here.

29/09/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at the Valnontey restaurant in Cogne, and we can say without hesitation that it was an excellent experience. 🍽️ The menu features traditional dishes from the Aosta Valley, carefully prepared. In addition to a delicious appetizer of tomini, cured meats, and local cheeses, we sampled the creamy and enveloping fondue, the rustic and flavorful soça, and the famous Cogne crema con le tegole, a traditional dessert that ended the dinner on a perfect note. 🍷 The selection of Aosta Valley wines is extensive and well-cured. The Gamay we chose was a pleasant discovery: it paired perfectly with the dishes. 🎯 Attentive, courteous, and professional service made the experience even more enjoyable. Excellent value for money. Our only small flaw: the room was a little cold.

The rooms are impeccably clean, and the wait staff is professional and friendly in equal measure. The cuisine is excellent, with dishes featuring well-defined flavors. The menu, while not extensive, is inviting. Breakfast also offered a more than adequate selection of sweet and savory options. The location is excellent, with the stunning valley at its back. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

06/08/2025: Ciao a tutti Oggi dopo aver visitato Cogne ci siamo spostati in frazione Lillaz e ci siamo fermato per un break al bar ANAIS oltre alla cortesia ed alla gentilezza della signora Adriana abbiamo mangiato dei panini veramente ma non scherzo veramente eccezionali!!!!! 14/07/2025: Ho provato diversi panini gourmet del Bar Anais: tutti buoni, con ingredienti freschi e accostamenti di sapore molto ben riusciti. I panini gourmet sono caldi, con pane integrale croccante, ben farciti. Vale la pena assaggiarli. Li abbiamo accompagnati con un Radler (birra e limonata) fresco e dissetante. L’ambiente è piacevole, con tavoli all’aperto e all’interno, nel centro di Lillaz, frazione facilmente raggiungibile da Cogne con navetta gratuita. Servizio gentile e cordiale, grazie alla nuova gestione.
