07/01/2026: We dined at this restaurant, a very welcoming and characteristic location. The waiters were particularly gracious and attentive, but never intrusive.
The menu offers a wide selection of both individual dishes and convivial platters. We opted for a charcuterie board as an appetizer, followed by two convivial platters and desserts. The food was excellent and the prices were fairly reasonable.
A small negative: in our convivial dish, "l'Encore de Sapin," the pickles were too few compared to the amount of cheese.
Positive: The chef's welcome entree was very welcome, and the service deserves praise.
The desserts are also highly recommended: the excellent apple parcel and the zabaglione prepared at the table.

02/01/2026: When I come to Italy for the Christmas holidays, I always stop by Cogne and eat here. Prices are high, so it's not a cheap restaurant, but the food is good. Service is a little slow.
11/12/2025: Beautiful location, very characteristic in classic Aosta Valley style, very well-kept inside. At dinner with friends from the Aosta Valley, we enjoyed the appetizers, especially the charcuterie board. I personally enjoyed a superb pierrade, very rich in both meat and vegetables, all washed down with an excellent Cornalin red wine. The desserts were excellent, especially the Cogne cream with classic tegole. Finally, thanks to Alessia and Giulia, who with rare kindness made our experience at La Brasserie du Bon Bec wonderful.

06/01/2026: Decent. The really good thing is the bread and focaccia made by the chef, a masterpiece they serve at the table. It's already factored into the price of the dishes. A bit pricey in my opinion. And the selection is limited. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.
06/01/2026: Today I went to this restaurant in Cogne. It's a very relaxing place with traditional wooden furnishings. The women who run it are all very friendly and super professional. The food is exquisite, made with high-quality ingredients. The wine list is extensive; I tried a Val d'Aosta wine that was recommended to me. A top restaurant. If you go to Cogne, you can't miss them.

05/01/2026: Spectacular food, but the service is managed by a single person. The wait was very long, and there was no flexibility: while we were still waiting for the first course, we asked for a second course and were told that we'd end up in line at all the other tables, so we decided against it.

The breakfast and restaurant were truly top-notch, with sommelier service at the table. A truly unique and beautiful hotel. The staff was fantastic throughout. I highly recommend it.

Oggi dopo aver visitato Cogne ci siamo spostati in frazione Lillaz e ci siamo fermato per un break al bar ANAIS oltre alla cortesia ed alla gentilezza della signora Adriana abbiamo mangiato dei panini veramente ma non scherzo veramente eccezionali!!!!!
Quindi se siete da quelle parti non resterete delusi!!! Buon appetito

14/07/2025: Ho provato diversi panini gourmet del Bar Anais: tutti buoni, con ingredienti freschi e accostamenti di sapore molto ben riusciti. I panini gourmet sono caldi, con pane integrale croccante, ben farciti. Vale la pena assaggiarli. Li abbiamo accompagnati con un Radler (birra e limonata) fresco e dissetante.
L’ambiente è piacevole, con tavoli all’aperto e all’interno, nel centro di Lillaz, frazione facilmente raggiungibile da Cogne con navetta gratuita. Servizio gentile e cordiale, grazie alla nuova gestione.

29/09/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at the Valnontey restaurant in Cogne, and we can say without hesitation that it was an excellent experience.
🍽️ The menu features traditional dishes from the Aosta Valley, carefully prepared. In addition to a delicious appetizer of tomini, cured meats, and local cheeses, we sampled the creamy and enveloping fondue, the rustic and flavorful soça, and the famous Cogne crema con le tegole, a traditional dessert that ended the dinner on a perfect note.
🍷 The selection of Aosta Valley wines is extensive and well-cured. The Gamay we chose was a pleasant discovery: it paired perfectly with the dishes.
🎯 Attentive, courteous, and professional service made the experience even more enjoyable.
Excellent value for money.
Our only small flaw: the room was a little cold.

27/12/2025: Closes at 1:40 PM. It's impossible to eat in 40 minutes. The restaurant isn't open to outsiders, but perhaps only to hotel guests.
They don't need to work.
26/12/2025: My family and I had lunch at Sant'Orso today... Good food, excellent service, led by Max and Filippo. Simone was also very good and attentive. The dining room is beautiful with a lovely view of the snow-capped mountains... we will definitely be back during our stay. Thank you.
